5star Hotel but not like 5star , very bad service, not well trained staff. No privacy in room every time housekeeper open door room with only one knok not waiting to response and bathroom wall are glasses can see what inside.
Modern, clean, spacious, one receptionist (blonde girl, didn’t get her name) was very helpful and really tried her best to help us especially with the transportation requests
Breakfast was included and three different staff kept saying it wasn’t until they checked all three times and realised it was!
The hotel provides the typical african cleaniness. I was expecting more precision for a SLH and 5 star hotel
Nice design. Friendly staff. Very nice rooftop bar with live music.
Moroccan restaurant very average and overpriced. Construction site next to the hotel. Broken furniture and shower at the pool. No service at the pool and no towels early in the morning.
Location is closed to the old city.
The design is modern and mixed with Morocco Style in the front of the hotel. The management needs to give more attention to refurbishment of hotel’s rooms especially room doors.
The five-star Hotel Sahrai, designed by the architect and designer Christophe Pillet, enjoys spectacular views of the largest medina in the Arab world, taking in twelve centuries of the city’s history in one fell swoop. Just 2h30 away from Paris, it offers a totally new hotel experience in Fez. An alternative to the shady isolation of the riads and the impersonal feel of the big resorts, its architecture on a human scale is a combination of tradition and contemporary style. The entire interior and exterior décor, specifically designed for the hotel, combines classic design codes with a sophisticated take on local traditions. Zellige pools, carved plaster and local stone cladding, Fassi ceramics and copper lanterns provide subtle references throughout the space, which also includes bespoke furniture, such as the Sahrai line designed by Christophe Pillet and now produced by Living Divani.
