B&B Le Rideux - Durbuy - Building
1
9.6 Excellent (266 reviews)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, the view, service, friendliness
10.0 Excellent
Pros: we had the family room, which was basically a house over two floors, so very spacious as room for 8 but only 4 of us. Garden and little pool was lovely Location good for going to popular place like Adventure Valley and Durbuy
Cons: only downside was that house wasn't very sound proof, so people in loft room above us could hear us and vice versa
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a very nice place for a weekend with friends or family. Over the years we’ve stayed in three different parts of the complex and all have been great. The hosts are friendly and helpful and the grounds are very well kept.
Cons: I believe there’s too little privacy for a romantic getaway. The terraces are often shared and the windows and glass doors offering a beautiful view always includes a view of somebody else’s accommodation or terrace as well. That breaks the spell a bit. Otherwise highly recommended.

Pros: Almost all of it.
Cons: -Little fridge in the room would be handy. -Airco should be able to work while away, not only when inside the room
La Librairie - Durbuy - Building

Overview Reviews
With a stay at La Librairie in Durbuy, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Durbuy Adventures and Radhadesh. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owners were super friendly.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room with a kingsize bed, a large bathroom and very modern shower unit (also spacious). Separate toilet, mini-bar and coffee and tea making facilities. More than enough storage space for both bags and clothers. Owners are very helpfull and friendly and try to accommodate all languages :) Breakfastbuffet very good and leaves nothing to be desired. Fresh fruit, yoghurt and all types of other foodstuffs to eat (cheese, ham, saucage). Large selection of fresh and yummie bread from the local bakery! Room has private entrance through the private parking space that accompanies the room. Also a terrace just for you. People walking by probably feel like you are just sitting on a parking lot but sitting on the privat terrace you can enjoy the people walking past along the river Ourthe without the hustle and bustle of the touristy town centre. La Librarie also has a store attached with all types of things you might need (water, drinks, sunhats, newspapers & magazines, postcards, slippers, shawls, souvenirs, snacks etc) and it is one of the few stores in the town! Several excellent walks from Durbuy (longer and shorter.. buy a map at the tourist information and also check out the info signs opposite the tourist information for indications of walks from the town center)
Cons: We talked with the owner about leaving the 'frontdoor' of the room open at night which means direct access to the room from streetlevel and for people walking past. This was not exeptional for the area but as we are city folks we didn't feel comfortable doing that. It meant the room got a little hot during the night but the owner told us that they are working on a solution to both feel safe and fresh :) For our stay we just left the door open until we went to sleep and opened it when we woke.. the room is of a size that you don't feel too stuffy but it might be hotter when temperatures rise to over 25 degrees. A general remarke about Durbuy: look into public transportation options beforehand if you don't drive. It is possible to get there with a bus more frequent during july-august but you do need to plan ahead (and when to go back).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Alles was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner and Papa are very nice host. Hotel location is great, just in the city center. Breakfast is well prepared and tasty.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location - very pretty village Free parking Beds made daily Breakfast was lovely Room was very clean Mini bar in room No noise at night
Cons: No lift No kettle in room
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was perfect, delicious, full size croissants. The lovely staff keep replenishing all the breakfast buffet and you had your own big pot of coffee. The room on the 2nd floor at the back of the hotel was very quiet, and as it has a fire exit it has a special ladder fitted beyond the juliet balcony, I would say it might be difficult for the less nimble among us to be able to use it. It was great to have the mini bar if you needed drinks, and the fresh coffee maker is welcome, although no kettle, so I couldn't make an early morning cup of tea(I wasn't worried as the tea available at breakfast was ample) . There was a floor standing fan in the room, really appreciated it when it was so hot, very nice touch.Parking is easy, and the stairs to the hotel are off the carpark for ease of taking luggage up. Guy was so helpful as we couldn't get to the hotel until after 9pm, nothing was too much trouble for him. If you are going to the F1 in Belguim this hotel and the town is a little gem.
Cons: The bathroom is adequate, but the addition of more hooks for clothes and bathtowels to be hung while showering, and a small cupboard underneath the sink to put your toiletries in would improve the comfort.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, views from the back bedrooms, free car park, nice sized room, staff were helpful, easy check in and check out. Nice drive for Spa Grand prix, price really good for the time we were there.
Cons: Lack of lift, only cold selection for breakfast, although it was enough and a good selection. Bathroom was really nice but could have had a better clean prior to our arrival.
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice location
Cons: We booked double bed and ended up sleeping in two small separate beds instead. Wifi doesnt work.

7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good and service is excellent, response from property owner was very prompt.
Cons: Th room was a bit stuffy and smell was a bit stale, will be great if windows can be opened during the guest stay. Pillows was also a bit soft and the extra bed sheet linen, duvet and mattress smells a bit. Will be nice if they smell like freshly cleaned.

4.2 Okay
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: From being a lovely old, comfy hotel, full of charm - it has been totally gutted & turned into a bland modern chain-style hotel. Worse - it is painted in funereal black! Black entrance, black corridors, black rooms & bathrooms with black radiators & curtains! Lighting poor, difficult to see one another across the room. Definitely not something to look forward to when coming back at the end of the day.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location and a beautiful little hotel. Wonderful town to stay in. Highly recommended. Warm room with plenty of heating.
Cons: Sorry not too much to complain about really..... parking in the area requires you to use car parking roadside pay machines. But having said that, I'm pretty sure that in this small beautiful town that no or few hotels have a carpark. Just be prepared to park away from your hotel, pay for an hour at first, find your hotel then sort your parking out for the rest of the day etc. I would not recommend following your GPS to the hotel door. Just park in the obvious areas 100 metres or so away from the hotel and walk to the hotel through the narrow streets. This is no burden for the average human.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Stylish great location.
Cons: Property was fine but loud music outside until 2am
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and pretty room and great restaurant. Also the location is amazing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We traveled in a group. Some had the deluxe rooms, some had the superior ones. The superior rooms are standard hotel rooms, but the deluxe ones are simply beautiful! If you can close, go for deluxe. These rooms are very classy gems.
Cons: Nothing bothered me. The rooms were good, the staff was helpful, the beds were comfy.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room, spacious with a large bed and good shower. Very centrally situated in Durbuy. Hotel is very nice and Durbuy is lovely, would stay here again.
Cons: No bar in the hotel (according to staff member I asked) but plenty nearby. No parking but we knew that before we booked.

La Ferme De Durbuy is situated on the slope of a hill and is a 20-minute walk away from Durbuy. There are free parking facilities.
7.9 Good
Pros: The area and farm were beautiful. Breakfast was great! The staff were very friendly. Since the atmosphere is so beautiful it would be a great addition to offer a glass of wine at check in or like a daily cocktail hour with cheese and meats or something. We had free time before dinner and would have loved to sit out on the porch with a glass of wine enjoying the view.
Cons: The payment process. They charge your credit card twice for the exact same amount at the exact same time, basically charging you per night. This is confusing and makes you think a mistake was made by the credit card company.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Isabelle was super friendly!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Decoration in the breakfast room was idyllic The hostess was fantastic. Rooms are spacious with a stair to the mezzanine withthe bed
Cons: It is a 2km walk to the town; known upfront so no problem but worthwhile to know for others.

Pros: Secluded location but ok if u have transport
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel was in a lovely quiet spot.
Cons: There was no fridge in your room or the use of air conditioning. We had originally booked a room with a double bed and a single bed but on our arrival were given a room with 2 small single beds and an even smaller child size bed that folded into a cupboard. Not appropriate for 3 adults. Thankfully after drawing attention to this fact, we were put into a more appropriate room with adequate beds.
7.5 Good
Pros: Amazing location
Cons: Limitations of the service
6.7 Good
Pros: Staff were very friendly.
Cons: A/C was off during summer. We couldn't sleep properly. Beds were very basic. Flooring was very basic. (Not fault of hotel) location has nothing of much interest (Durbuy/Bomal), so keep that in mind.

Hotel Le Vieux Durbuy - Durbuy - Bedroom
17
8.1 Excellent (512 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Durbuy, Hotel Le Vieux Durbuy is within a 5-minute drive of Durbuy Adventures and Radhadesh. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The nostalgic character of the old building and charming rooms. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge, chatting With our friends until late on the comfortable sofas.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We loved the village
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location and nice staff
Cons: The showerhead was placed very low, which meant that you had to hold it the whole time while showering.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was not included in original quote. It was well worth the 15 euros however.
Cons: Ideally there could have been tea or coffee making facility in the room.
7.1 Good
Pros: Very friendly and helpful front desk. The hotel I checked in at (apparently an affiliate of the one where my room was) was very nice and breakfast (paid for separately) was good. Both hotels were centrally located in the beautiful small village of Durbuy. Lots of small shops, bars, cafes and restaurants close by. My room was large. There was hot water, but only a bathtub and shower hose... no shower curtain.
Cons: The hotel building itself requires repairs. Holes in the floor of the stairwell. Old soiled carpet. Easy chairs in room were thread-bare. Messy and un-kept foyer area (resulting in a poor first impression). No reception desk! Small sign out front directing us to another hotel down the street (150 meters) to haul our bags and check in (then haul them back). Nearest reasonably priced parking lot was more than 300 meters away. For the price I paid ($132 Euro per night), without breakfast, the room and hotel were overpriced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Before we went the hotel helped us to book a taxi from the closest train station (4km away). The breakfast was amazing and the staff were very nice and helpful. They don't all speak English, but that is to be expected in Wallonia. They were happy to keep our bags after checkout while we still explored the area. When we picked up the bags they called a taxi for us. It was a very easy experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Upgraded to stay in Hotel
7.9 Good
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: The hotel is old. Mold around windows. Lost its charm.

Hotel Les Mignees - Durbuy - Restaurant
19
7.8 Good (309 reviews)
4.0 Okay
Cons: No night porter so had to sleep in the car on the first night. When calling ahead to indicate a late arrival was only answered in french.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Food in the restaurant was really nice although a little pricey and the staff were friendly enough. Location is out of town but a nice town and close enough for a short drive.
Cons: Room was on the ground floor and got extremely hot in the night with no way of cooling other than opening a large window right next to the restaurant and people walking past after their meal. Although no TV in the rooms was stated on the booking a TV was there with 1 channel available which was strange. The decor and furniture is a bit dated and tired so could do with a thorough refresh at some point soon.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Big bathroom. Restaurant was good with value for money and very friendly staff.
Cons: Rather simple breakfast, only 1 working channel on TV. Room was dated and small. Far away from village and no public transport.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Quiet place, outside the village Restaurant /food /drinks are ok
Cons: Most staff/service people speaks only french. The bedroom was ok, however only one french channel and no radio channel at television.
