Residence Il Borgo - Bellagio - Building
1
9.6 Excellent (268 reviews)

Apartments at Il Borgo come with parquet floors and some have wood-beamed ceilings. Each one has a fully equipped kitchenette with dishwasher. The residence is 100 metres from the nearest bars and restaurants and 800 metres from a supermarket. There is a free public park 300 metres away. Set in Bellagio, it is just a few steps from the harbour for boats across Lake Como. The nearest train station is a short boat ride away in Varenna. The elegant villas of Villa Melzi and Villa Servelloni are a short walk away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything ran very smoothly. Flavio, the owner, was excellent and very good with communications so we knew exactly what we were doing regarding getting into apartment as we arrived very late at night. He also gave us good advice regarding places to eat. The apartment was super and everything you could possibly need was there. The location was perfect and we would definitely hope to stay here again. Will also tell family and friends. Bellagio is a beautiful place and the people are very friendly and helpful. Loved it.
Cons: There was nothing about Residence Il Borgo not to like.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect, seconds to everything, flavio the owner was FANTASTIC! Very clean, room was serviced every 4 days/ however you only needed to ask for fresh towels and they were delivered with no questions asked. Nothing was too much trouble, example we bumped into Flávio whilst getting some provisions for the room from a local supermarket some 1.5km away , Flavio insisted he took our bags and delivered them back to our apartment.. WHAT A GUY.. WiFi was good. Good air con, fridge good size. Bathroom clean,And plenty of hot water. If you want authentic Italy at its best in a great little apartment where you felt like one of the locals this is the place to stay. Tips.. Over the 2 weeks we visited the majority of Villages by ferry, the 6 day pass was great and well worth the money approx €80, Bellagio is the diamond of them all. We will defiantly be back. Thanks Flávio.
Cons: The title “what didn’t we like about the property” isn’t a great title! It should be What other comments could you give? Would be more apt. BEING PICKY, Sound proofing of the neighbouring room, for 3 nights out of the 14 we had young children crying and making noise NOT the fault of the owner just inconsiderate neighbours.and I guess age of property? We had a split level room with a small spiral staircase to the bedroom, this was very squeaky on 2 or 3 of the steps.. only an issue if you had to visit the loo during the night. Again possible age of the property and I’m not the smallest of Chaps! Again being picky, the pillows had seen better days and flat.. I guess if I had me sober to Flávio he would of replaced, that said, bed was comfortable. Well equipped small kitchen area with pans cutlery glasses etc, however again being picky, could do with more cooking utensils only had one wooden spoon to cook with, whilst I’m no Jamie Oliver maybe a few more items such as draining spoon, egg flipper spatula and non stick pan, would be great if you planned to eat in some of the holiday. Finally, as your very close to the church Sq be prepared that at 8am then on every 30 mins the church bells rings out.. after a while we got used to this and in a positive no need to set your alarm in the morning.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners, Flavio and Silvia were most friendly and helpful! The location in the center of Bellagio was great.
Cons: For those travelling by car, parking is quite a hike. Also, accessing the apartment building involves lots of steps.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: No Breakfast ??
Cons: Missed Daylight into the room & a Balcony if I'm honest Needed Breakfast was hard work to find it at a reasonable price
10.0 Excellent
Pros: centrally located in Bellagio. steps away from the shops and restaurants. Best part was the friendliness and welcoming of owner Flavio. He couldn't be more helpful, informative, and kind to accommodate our arrival. Driving into Bellagio was rough because of windy small roads but after we settled in comfortably as if we lived there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love these apartments. Sylvia and Flavio are excellent hosts. So helpful and friendly. Comfy bed, spotlessly clean, little kitchen area for breakfast, nice big bathroom. Up a lot of steps, but not too difficult, even for older travelers. Cute restaurants all around. Love Bellagio! Love Residence Il Borgo.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, location, value for what we got, and the owners were awesome!!
Cons: The only thing we didn’t like was the circular staircase to the bedroom. Having to go up and down that at night to get to the bathroom was not convenient.

2
9.5 Excellent (1,200 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Enjoy fantastic lake views from your private balcony or garden at Borgo Le Terrazze. The suites and studios are equipped with modern amenities. Borgo Le Terrazze is set in a panoramic position, on the hill of Vergonese, a small village of Bellagio. It boasts a lush Mediterranean garden and a swimming pool with an unforgettable view. The bar is great for breakfast and snacks throughout the day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything.
Cons: Everything excellent. Location great stuff helpfull.breakfast perfect
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A view from here to die for. Lake Como in all its glory. This hotel is all about the view - and why not. The hotel runs a shuttle bus to and from the town of Bellagio. Don't try walking there! Do take the boats on the lake. We had a wonderful lakeside lunch at Mennagio.
Cons: Only slight grumble is that, compared with the many smaller guest houses we stayed at during a three-week road trip in Italy etc., this was the least personal in terms of service. Inevitable perhaps with a larger property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Views!
Cons: Can’t walk from here so need to rely on shuttle
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view!!
Cons: They need more shuttle times to and from town.
9.6 Excellent

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room had all the required amenities and a lovely view of the lake. Very comfortable.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was splendid. The facilities were great.
Cons: A couple of things could have been a bit better- but overall- it was great
10.0 Excellent

Cons: The parking situation is not good, but there is nothing the owner can do about that. It is good that one can drive up to the building and unload/load baggage.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Feels like home, clean, icredibly good location, great staff. Perfect for us.
Cons: Car is a problem if you would like to park it near-by
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bright, airy apartment with lemon tree blossoms perfuming the air. Right in the middle of Bellagio. Laundromat was next door. Didn't want to leave. Wonderful.
Cons: Driving through town on a street that looked like a sidewalk was awkward, at first. But, there is parking at the church about one block away that was convenient.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the area the apartments were in and the gardens around it. Plenty of room in large studio and light and airy. Light was flickering in room on first evening and it was sorted that evening without any fuss.
Cons: Only thing that would have been handy was a few more coffee and breakfast tea sachets.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was very good and Bellagio was beautiful
Cons: The towels and possibly the bed sheets were not changed during our week long stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Perfect apartment for a single or couple. All the right appliances and connections. Comfortable. And a great garden courtyard with lounge chairs. Also a terrace spot with a partial lake view. Grocery adjacent to the property.

Cons: Nothing .. should have stayed longer
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was nice and comfy with a fantastic walk in shower with lights and different water settings but the terrace absolute made it and have it the wow factor with the beautiful view of the lake, we could really relax here. The pool area was great and the food and service in both the restaurant and pool bar was outstanding. The hotels location was perfect, just a short walk down to Bellagio. A stunning hotel I would love to visit again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Views over the lake, calmness, outdoor pool and jakuzi. Room spotless clean-service has 5 stars.
Cons: You dont know which room exactly you will get, as pictures shows only some type of room, but there are many differrnt ones,e.g. double room with lake view, as we took, had really amazing view over the lake, but bathroom was not that nice as on pictures-this is just to takr into consideration, otherwise all the rest perfect!:)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fabulous! Coffee service brought up to room was wonderful. Staff always ready to assist and so nice. Our room was very comfortable with such an outstandingly beautiful view and he bathroom was an unexpected delight!
Cons: I honestly cannot think of a lot of improvement - the seating in the common areas was very low.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: An elegant quiet full service hotel . Lovely pool and spa. Restaurant on premises. Modern decor and baths. Helpful polite staff.
Cons: The location was very good because it is away from the crowded tourist area. But it is at the top of a steep hill and you need to call the hotel shuttle to come for you. Taxis are non existent. If you have a car it is fine. If not, the shuttle will be a help.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location and stunning views. Great Breakfast too.

Pros: The staff was great and very helpful, the room was clean, comfortable and refurbished.

Il Poggio Di Bellagio - Bellagio - Building
6
9.6 Excellent (56 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The Hill, surrounded by a park with gardens and olive grove, is located in a quiet and panoramic position not far from the city centre, within walking distance. What makes it unique is its location, slightly raised over the village, which offers an extraordinary view on Lake Como. The House, the swimming pool, the solarium overlooking this incomparable scenery. The suites are equipped with every comfort: kitchen with microwave, bathroom with shower, air conditioning and heating, safe, electronic key safe, satellite television, internet access, laundry room with washer and dryer, private parking. 2 supermarkets, Sports Centre and an equipped beach are just minutes away. The entire structure is particularly suitable for families or groups of friends (max. 16 persons). In this case you have a large fully equipped kitchen and a large lounge, dining room. If there is availability, apartments, 3 apartments and 1 apartment, can be rented individually.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very private, great view and spacious/comfortable
Cons: Location was 30mins walk from Bellagio town, parts steep
9.2 Excellent
Pros: WHAT A VIEW! Great location a little further away from the tourist-dense heart of Bellagio.
Cons: The walk to Bellagio is just over 20 minutes - impossible with luggage. At night, there are very dark patches of trail. But easy to navigate to and from town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views from the garden over Bellagio are fantastic. The complex is quiet and private. The pool is very clean and perfect for the very hot weather. The owners are very attentive, nice, friendly and approachable. The villa is about a 5 minute drive from Bellagio, an ideal place as you can enjoy the restaurants in the area around the villa rather than going to into the town itself.
Cons: The air conditioning unit heat regulation is managed from an admin panel in the manager's office, rather than managed and regulated in the room itself. This resulted in us not being able to reduce the temperature to a suitable level until we called the manager.
5.1 Okay
Pros: Location was good and views are beautiful. But it ends there.
Cons: The floors were dirty, the comforter was stained, there was black mold growing on the shower tiles and the pool was so dirty we couldn't use it. Cobwebs with large spiders in corners, so apartment isn't getting cleaned well. You don't get tissues or napkins. You get 2 little bottles of body wash. No soap, no shampoo, no lotion. No extras. You get one towel per person upon arrival and if you need more you must pay. Same with the toilet paper. No sponge in kitchen but you are required to clean up kitchen before check out. No extra garbage bags but you are required to take out your trash and bring glass recycling to church in town. You are paying them to do their work! They don't provide the basics and you certainly aren't getting any extras. When you are traveling you shouldn't have to stock up and buy all these things. Poorly run business where owners don't lift a finger and sit back and collect your room fee. They also like to try and find little deficiencies to impose extra fees on their guests. Stay somewhere else!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, spacious, AMAZING VIEW, beautiful clean pool and quiet!! Very helpful host.
Cons: It was an easy walk into he town but a very hot and difficult walk back up the hill. Regret not having a car. No taxis available either.

When you stay at Hotel Centrale in Bellagio, you'll be on a lake, within a 15-minute drive of Villa Melzi and Villa Carlotta. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a computer station, and multilingual staff.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great central location, hence Hotel Centrale. Family run hotel, very friendly family and the room was exceptionally clean as was the bathroom. The view into the courtyard was lovely with all the many plantings.
Cons: the mattress could be updated, I could feel the spirals of it in my ribs. No good. Otherwise nothing to report.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the Terrace, gardens and breakfast room. Warm welcome and helpful staff. Enjoyed the Americano coffee with breakfast and the delicious cakes.
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: In a beautiful position overlooking the harbour and shoreline. Very comfortable room with balcony.
Cons: Balcony was really pleasant and only spoilt by loud conversation and music from guests on the next-door balconies.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at Hotel Centrale at the recommendation of a friend and couldn't be happier with our choice. The hotel is in the heart of Bellagio and is owned/run by a multi-generational family of whom Michael was the main "front man". First location.... The hotel is truly in the middle of the small village with many restaurants/shops within a stone's throw and the main street is only a short walk away (1-2 minutes). The only down point is to get to the hotel, one must walk up about a block length of stone stairs from the main street. Not really for anyone with ambulation problems. But then again, the entire town of Bellagio is a bunch of up/downhill streets and stairs - probably not the best place to visit for someone who is unable to walk. Second, the staff. Again we couldn't be happier with our experience. Michael was personable, friendly, and very helpful. He actually called the hotel we were going to next (in Cinque Terre - a big storm had gone through that area) to make sure everything was alright before we headed down there. Third, the breakfast (included) was one of the highlights of our stay. Delicious, warm, and filling. It was wonderful to start our day with a leisurely meal before heading out. Fourth, the accommodations... The hotel had a beautiful, well kept garden and the rooms were clean and comfortable. They placed a tea tray in our rooms in the afternoon with tea/coffee/baked goods - so lovely to come home to this. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were modern and efficient. They also included free WIFI which was convenient. All in all, we highly recommend the Hotel Centrale!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is situated just behind few blocks away from the ferry terminal , though lake is not visible from the hotel. Overall a good hotel to stay and find out attractions of Bellagio. Excellent restaurants are just walking distance from this property.
Cons: The door locks . Somehow I find those hard and should be at par the standard of other good hotels .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was so welcoming.
Cons: A bit of effort to get luggage up or down hillside to front door.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good communication prior to visit, warm and helpful family who own and operate hotel, excellent location... very central but very quiet.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was OK good variety location was in the center close to all shops and lake

7.0 Good
Pros: Enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a lovely selection of hot drinks and attentive staff! Personal touch to the old family home was beautiful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is very cozy and clean. The location is top in the hearts of Bellagio. There is a little garden where you can enjoy the beauty of the flowers. Especially, I liked the terrace in the 1st floor with a panoramic view. It was a very good choice and I can highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: Nothing :)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Its okay maybe a bar

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Purchased the room with a view and our jaws literally dropped to the floor once we walked into our room because of how unbelievable the view was. Aside from that, the furniture, decor, and amenities within the room are all very update and seemingly very new. The style of the furniture and decor are also fitting for a Lake Como hotel. The included breakfast was delicious and the entire staff was unbelievably sweet.
Cons: Keep in mind there is a good amount of stairs to walk up to the front door of the hotel in case you have a lot of luggage. But no complains whatsoever about this place. It was amazing.

Residence L'Ulivo - Bellagio - Building
10
9.2 Excellent (101 reviews)

Featured amenities include express check-out, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: The fact that the hotel staff could not help us to our apartment with luggage
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect (directly behind the 5* Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni which entitles you to use the resort’s facilities including pools, spa, workout rooms, etc). Beautiful veranda for drinks and the apartment was wonderfully appointed and you can make and have your coffee/drinks on its veranda overlooking Lake Como. Perfect in every way. Walking distance to heart of Bellagio including ferries, restaurants and shops (save room in your suitcases for silks and shoes). Free parking is great perk although driving to Bellagio is a hair-raising experience.
Cons: Nothing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location. In the heart of Bellagio - walk out your front door and you are literally in the center of town in 3 minutes. An easy walk through the beautiful gardens and you are at the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni with full access to their pool, beach, restaurant, etc. AMAZING!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We liked that we could be on the Hotel Serbolino property with full use of the facilities.
Cons: The bed and pillows were uncomfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quiet, central location, spacious and access to the hotel facilities (the pool is great). The hotter restaurant is also excellent.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We booked the small apartment, which was extremely clean and spacious - and beautiful to the eye, especially the floor tiles. Their was a macelleria and an alimenteri store a short walk into the town of Bellagio to buy meat and bread for cooking in the apartment, which we much enjoyed doing. Getting to the ferry terminal to visit other towns was only a six minute or so walk away from the apartment. The apartment was very convenient to everything. The view of the mountain from the balcony was spectacular. The walks around the area from the apartment itself were spectacular too. We didn't avail ourselves of the hotel services made available to apartment guests, other than walking through their lovely gardens. The concierge staff at the hotel we're extremely pleasant and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Residence L'Ulivo apartments.
Cons: The bed was a tad hard. I would have liked it a year ago before I had my back operation, but now I need softer mattresses. This isn't a fault of the apartment though.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff. Big clean appartment. Good location.
Cons: Reception to the apartment was difficult to find as located in Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni. Extra supplies like long life milk, more coffee & tea .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 5 star facilities and cleanliness at 3 star prices.
Cons: Quite a hill to walk up behind the hotel. You’ll need to be relatively able bodied.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast room is outstanding.
Cons: No evidence of any overall management presence - in that respect rather Impersonable. Pillows rather hard. A directory of the whole property, both inside and out, would help.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The BEST hotel to stay in Bellagio - if you've got the $$$ or want to ensure that you have the best experience. Rooms, service/staff, food and overall experience...incredible.
Cons: Nothing....everything was superb!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the room which was clean, well decorated, and offering an incredible view on Lake Como.
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Old world charm, but updated
Cons: Prices by the pool excessive, 12 euro for a beer is too much, cigar smoking guests by pool a bit off putting...I don’t think cigars should be smoked in public areas
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni did a fantastic job of taking care of us - very comfortable room, welcoming staff, and wonderful facilities. They were great with greeting you by name, suggestions on activities and arranging dining reservations. It didn't matter if you pulled up in a Bentley or not ( we didn't)
7.1 Good
Pros: Breakfast was excellent
Cons: The room was very old fashioned Bathroom was more modern and eccdllent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, all of them especially concierge staff. General manager and driver, Luigi! And the staff at the drasena.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: All good
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff was attentive and friendly. The grounds as well as the hotel was sparkling clean. Can't wait to return!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: View is TO DIE FOR. Breakfast was included in my price and it was FANTASTIC. Staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The location is SUPERB. All in all cannot be beat. Additionally, Michelin starred restaurant, Mistral, on the premises delivers! Live trio every night for classic hits are a great accompaniment to cocktails in their lounge.
Cons: The hotel is luxe and beautifully historic but would've loved a more modern blow dryer. Version in room is a really old model with no power. Bring your own if necessary!
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Although there was a lot to like about the classic and dated feel of the hotel, there was certain areas where things need to be brought up to modern day times - like being able to have a cup of tea on the terrace before 10:00am.

Pros: Great location, lovely breakfast and helpful staff.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, with a comfortable room with its own terrace, and even a bit of a view of the lake. Breakfast was good. Garden you can sit in. Bring bug spray though... Would stay again.
Cons: Nothing really!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were spotless and well appointed. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing! The location was very nice...away from the hustle bustle but an easy walk into the main part of town. I’d suggest a taxi to the hotel with luggage because it is uphill! The staff at the hotel called one for us!
6.3 Good
Pros: Probably for the location value is good. Breakfast was good. Had parking outside and inside.
Cons: Really feels that the hotel is comfortable with the demand for the resort itself. The cattle for share use in the corridors is so old and cheap, that it hardly closes and spills if you don’t notice that it’s a bit cracked. Room was very small, the shower was the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel. The manager can leave the hotel in the middle of the day, yet we had an issue with the keys, and had to leave a wedding ceremony to return when the manager was back, to be able to get in our room after 23pm, since all is closed by that time. Not very kind, since it’s not our fault, that the manager was away at 11am. One more unpleasant moment: we asked to help us get taxi. The assistant first told us that the 6 min drive will cost 10 EUR, than changed it to 20 EUR. Who does that? You don’t change price if you agreed already.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved my stay here!! The breakfast was amazing and our room was spectacular. My friend and I came to celebrate my birthday and we got the room with the cute balcony it exceeded my expectations I loved my weekend stay here. My friend and I sat on the patio and we enjoyed our balcony. The place was close to the main town and I definitely would come back to stay here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, walking distance to the center city. Amazing lake view from a terrace. Delicious breakfast! Would definitely come back there and would recommend to my friends
Cons: There’s nothing. Absolutely wonderful place!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and well appointed, and the staff were lovely and accommodating.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely view of the lake from our room. It was a 10 minute walk to the bustle of Bellagio. The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, cereal, eggs, cheese and other Italian treats. The sweet treats were varied and amazing.
Cons: You have to get used to a smaller bathroom and shower Recess but we coped pretty well.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very nice and helpful, city center is within walking distance (stairs). The appartment is beautiful, in the morning before breakfast we walked for 2 minutes to see the lake, it was beautiful, very quiet. We reccomend !
Cons: Room was a little small but enough for us :)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful view very n the lake from the upper rooms. The location is perfect if you want something more quiet and at the same time just close to the village center. Bellagio is a small town so you can reach everywhere by foot. Rooms are a little bit small, but enough for a short stay. Breakfast is good and diverse.
Cons: It can become too hot in the room and you have to pay extra to turn the AC... we were expecting the staff to be more friendly, not the very typical italians we’ve already meet.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Staff, the views, the facilities, the garden view with the waterfall sound on the background made me fall asleep in 5 seconds. We had an early flight from Malpensa which wouldn't allow us to stay for the regular breakfast hours. The staff went out of their way to prepare us breakfast boxes the night before so we could take with us. They were incredible. I highly recommend this place. They offer shuttle services to the city center for a symbolic $1 euro per person but walking wasn't a problem for us. We will definitely go back.
Cons: The fact that I couldn't stay longer.
7.9 Good
Pros: The panorama
Cons: The shower / bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional service and friendly staff. Receptionist was so nice and made us feel at home. Incredible views. Respond to messages instantly. Shuttle bus is brilliant. Amazing value for money
Cons: We should have stayed for longer. Everything was great
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The views are breathtaking and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Owner Carlo was amazing and kind - our room was fantastic and I mean fantastic. Menu was smashing and we've been here 3/4 times before. As Arnie S sad we will be back !!!
Cons: Swimming pool. I know I'm being cheeky !!! Or hot tub/jacuzzi. Again joking but ..... Maybe nice for all the cyclists Otherwise perfect position /staff / bedroom All perfect !!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is run by a wonderful family. They are extremely helpful and warm, their property and the views were gorgeous, and the breakfast offered was exceptional. Highly, highly recommended!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from the bedroom is amazing! From the balcony of the restaurant is even more! The room is very large, very soft bed sheets, lovely staff! Very helpfull. We’ve just love it!
Cons: Shower was splashing water out of the box, wetting the bathroom a little bit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All was great. The view is amazing. Staff was polite and friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Might only have two stars, but I'd get married here. The view over the lake is mesmerizing. When breakfast is served on the terrace, you can enjoy it to the best, or from one of the rooms. Ours was recently updated, certainly in the bathroom, but the update managed to retain the rustic charm of the place. Yes, you're quite far outside Bellagio, but this place is not to be missed as an experience.
Cons: Nope.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Booked the Junior Suite with Lake View. The view from the room was stunning; both day and night. The bed was on a raised platform and looked straight out through the huge windows toward Bellagio and Lake Como. The terrace was large and opened up the views even more. You could happily spend hours on the terrace, with a nice Italian wine and nibbles, just taking in the view. The staff were exceptional; helpful, friendly and welcoming. The lawn terrace where we ate breakfast and dinner is large and sits above the detached Junior Suites, where it provides even more expansive views. The dinner menu was fairly basic, but tasty and our waiter was hilarious. The views also take in Villa Carlotta, Grand Hotel Tremezzo and the church on the cliff face, San Martino, which are a short ferry trip away across the lake from Bellagio. Other guests said they had views from the hotel itself, but I recommend paying a bit extra to get a Junior Suite. I also recommend a hire car, as it is high up on a hill and some distance from Bellagio. They do run a shuttle bus into Bellagio.
Cons: The hotel is looking tired and the bathrooms could do with an update, however that hardly detracted from the overall feel of the hotel. The hotel caters for cyclists, so if you have an aversion to mamils (middle aged men in lycra) then be warned. Having said that, if I was a keen cyclist, I would definitely add this hotel to my list of cycling holidays.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean, modern and great distance for doing everything. Staff was super nice and easy going.
Cons: A tad bit noisy, but room is over a restaurant and we were there On a Friday night. No biggie really but some might not like the noise.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We had dinner at the restaurant the night we arrived and it was excellent! The apartment was super cute and comfortable with a beautiful view of Lake Como from our windows.
Cons: We knew that Bellagio is on a hillside so climbing many cobblestone stairs is inevitable. But for those who can't climb stairs well this may not be the place for you to stay. I counted the stairs, 95 cobblestone stairs to the Restaurant and then another 35 stairs to get up to the apartment! It was a good workout everyday, but the initial hauling our luggage up those 130 stairs was a bit daunting!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely fantastic the size of the apartment was great as was the bathroom and kitchen right in the heart of Bellagio.
Cons: N/A
7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly efficient welcome, beautiful location
Cons: Lack of bathtub, lack of view
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Location was great. The property is a few apartments attached to a restaurant. Don’t need the kitchen because it is the Best restaurant in town. The staff were great. Funny, friendly, good to be around.
Cons: Nothing. It was great.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff especially Marco. All others are very nice folks.
Cons: Not that I hated but a suggestion. The beds could be upgraded.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect central position, nice size room. Friendly staff who made us welcome. The restaurant under the accommodation was beautiful and you get a 10% discount. Would definitely recommend, the only thing that would make better is if there was a balcony but we knew there wasn’t one.
Cons: A balcony or sit out area would have been nice.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Have all the amenities anyone can ever need... The staff is super friendly and helpful and the location is perfect and near the mini market, gelateria, pizzerias and their restaurant is the best!!!
Cons: Needs more lighting
6.5 Good
Cons: The place can be very noisy from s bar across the alleyway. Not recommendable if you looking for a quiet
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was really spacious and comfortable, had everything a self contained apartment needs to feel at home. The staff were really friendly and helpful which made me feel even more at home. The restaurant which is a part of the accommodation was fantastic, great food and excellent service :) I stayed 4 nights which was perfect for me, a little time to relax, as well as, get out on the ferry and explore the other lake side towns.
Cons: It was all wonderful but if I was to pick something it would be that the hot water wasn’t turned up enough, it’s probably down still from the summer. It was comfortable still.

Pros: Very nice and spacious room with air condition which was very comfortable. Nice coffee for breakfast and lots of fruits every day. Very helpfull staff which gave us quite lot of good hints for trips. Supermarkets cca 500 meters far away.
Cons: Steep way from the center of Bellagio to the property (cca 30 minutes walking) which is quite normal in this area so you have to count with that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great, staff extremely nice and helpful. Would recommend this place 100%
9.2 Excellent
Cons: wifi didnt work properly on the second floor
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff, having good breakfast with great coffee on the veranda of an old villa.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The whole experience of our stay at this hotel was fantastic. A little out of town but we knew that and Sara directed us on how to walk into town. The breakfast was really good, Sara very helpful, room was lovely and clean and lots of original features. The views from our room were fantastic. Would definitely stay again if we visited Bellagio again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Old style, clean and bright room. Parking available.
Cons: A bit out of the centre.
7.1 Good
Pros: Overall this was an OK place, but it's distance from the center of Bellagio was significant. The walk was on a cobblestone path that included steep sections. It would not be suitable for anyone not able to manage the stone walkway or a distance of about 2 kilometers just to get into town. Since the town is also filled with steep walkways it can be an issue if not physically fit. Otherwise it can be a fine choice for the money. A large room in an historic building was nice and a good restaurant across the street or a pizzeria on site.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location and nice restaurants around
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a fantastic B&B close to the city, a genuine old Italian Villa & the breakfast was Way ahead of what I have experienced on other stays of the sort and the staff is Very friendly.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Location to Bellagio is good
Cons: Beds are uncomfortable, not modern features, breakfast was basic and not much choice, room could have been cleaner, basic rooms, expensive for the state of the hotel
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing-we left and found somewhere else to stay even though we lost money for the first night
Cons: Staff/owners- father and daughter were very rude. When we asked where is the terrace were told to go to 3rd floor. Had to go ask again because you had to go out and emergency exit to get there. Then you are locked out except down the stairs. Room did not have any view and felt claustrophobic.

Cons: Nothing to mention
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, position, good quality
Cons: Nothing

Cons: There was nothing not to like

Pros: Included breakfast was really nice
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice clean rooms and we were transferred to a room with a balcony when complained that no room to sit and read in room without balcony. No fuss and no charge!!
Cons: Strictly bed and breakfast but no lounge or communal area
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and attractive. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious.
Cons: There is nothing I didn’t like. It is uphill from town but we enjoyed the beautiful walk and exercise
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The morning breakfast was excellent. Much more than I would have expected. Unlimited cappuccinos, and lots of breakfast meats and pastries. If you like to walk the hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the heart of Bellagio. And if you’d like to play tennis it’s next-door to a huge tennis and swim club. We loved it !
7.5 Good
Pros: Spotless clean family run hotel. Quiet location. Good breakfast of fresh local produce.

Pros: Very nice location, a bit tricky to find a free parking spot in the middle of Summer. Clara’s son who welcomed us was very friendly and professional. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed.
7.5 Good
Pros: The convenience to town and the view from the studio apartment. Ricardo greeted us and was very helpful.
Cons: The bed was a bit hard and could do with a pillow topper or new mattress, other than that all was good!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The host Clara was delightful and helpful and the location was perfect in being close to everything and quiet.
Cons: Taking bag up stairs.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
Cons: Apartment was big but could use a revamp. Off street parking included is actually down the road at a restaurant car park.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: I did not like anything in the apartment. It looked really awful. The experience there has damaged my vacation and exposed me to health risks. I had to checked out after three nights there because I got sick and couldn't sleep there. The apartment was ugly and shabby. There was not a single item in the apartment that would make your stay comfortable. All furniture was second hand items and look ugly. Everything in the apartment was arranged tasteless. The bed was uncomfortable. The worse thing was a terrible odour coming from the kitchen area. It was unbearable to stay in the apartment and cook there. Shower in the bathroom was dirty and there was spider web allover the place in the apartment. As I am vegan and on Gluten Free diet, it was important for me to be able to cook my meals by myself during my vacation. Unfortunately, it was impossible to do it in the apartment due to unbearable odorous smell in the apartment.
Cons: There was literally nothing I can tell I like about this apartment and the facility. The building require significant renovation to meet the standard it promises for the value of the money.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, comfortable apartment in good location.
Cons: WiFi was a bit slow and the coffee pot was small
7.9 Good
Pros: The host was very nice and we could buy breakfast vouchers for the Hotel du Lac, which had a great buffet and lake view.
Cons: The pictures of the apartment did not give a proper impression, since it was a mix of different apartments. The furniture also looked much newer on the pictures.. the atmosphere (lighting and furniture) in the apartment did not feel inviting (as it did in the pictures). The bed was old and uncomfortable. The Wifi did not work properly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clara and her family were so nice and helpful. The Apartment was lovely and clean and had all the facilities you would need. The location was great, only a 5 minute walk to the lake front.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent. Clara was very nice and helpful.
Cons: The stairs were many and very steep to take up large luggage. It would have been helpful if a toaster was supplied bring a functional Kitchen even though there was no oven. Wasn’t able to cook a hot breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Host was very helpful and easy to reach any time. All our needs were satisfied in 5 minutes. Apartments itself is located 4 mins from boat station and really in city centre. View from balcony and from terrace is absolutely stunning! There is a small kitchen where you can prepare some food.
Cons: I cannot tell this place so clean. There was a little mold on ceiling in bathroom, chair seat was with spots and dirty. Totally, room need some renewment. Also, just FYI- there is a bell ringing every 30 mins from 8 a.m. till 10 p.m. on the tower opposite to room.

Pros: We liked the location ,the cleanliness & the appearance of the hotel and the restaurant, the excellent food and the service by very friendly and experienced staff as well as a convenient free of charge parking
Cons: In general the size of the room is too small and very inconvenient .Same for the bathroom being poorly equipped ( i.e non comfort towels )and with a loose toilet seat. We would expect to see better equipment in the room for the money we paid.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nothing except view
Cons: Room was probably one star quality would not recommend as place to stay even for one day
9.6 Excellent
Pros: So nice. Excellent view. Staff was great
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was ok, very clean and comfortable for a weekend stay. The best part was the breakfast buffet in the hotel, everything was delicious.
Cons: When booking the property, there are so many pictures of different properties that you don't know which one you are going to get. Descriptions should be more clear.
7.1 Good
Cons: The rooms on second flour are not comfertable for the price paid . ..
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Margarita, she attended to all our requests. The view from our room was stunning and the balcony is amazing and big enough. The hotel area is quite and away from the busy center and port.
Cons: Getting to the hotel is a challenge, although its not very far from the center but its located uphill so walking can be a bit tiring especially carrying your luggage. The hotel shuttle runs on request and based on availability, you need to call the reception for it, so you need to have a local cell phone or you will end up making international call from you mobile phone. We tried calling couple of time and we got the answer machine, so got fed up and walked. On our first night there was very loud noise from the people in the hotel’s restaurant (Silvio) i guess it was a party, but the other night was quite. The breakfast buffet is very poor and less than basic.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location great, staff very friendly and helpful . Restaurant dinner and breakfast excellent.
Cons: Apartment didn’t smell good - wet/damp odour
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really nice especially when we realized we were in a separate appartment. The view was incredible and the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: It did tend to get rather hot at night and the air conditioning didn't work well.
6.7 Good
Pros: Loved the location and the restaurant. The view from my room was spectacular!! The staff was great.
Cons: The safe wasn’t working (issue reported first day but not resolved). The room was a little on the small side, and the shower was very tiny.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast and service
Cons: Our room had several beams and I hit my head a couple of times on the upstairs 2nd floor bedroom.

Pros: Location
Cons: Needs up date ,small room ,mediocre breakfast Poor soaps and linens
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located in Bellagio which is a fantastic lake side village with many surrounding amenities, and restaurants where you won’t be let down for quality food and wine.
Cons: Swimming pool had lovely garden but wasn’t heated.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was very good, right next to lake Como and the view from the room was magnificent. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good too.
Cons: Everything was ok
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was right in the heart of Bellagio, it had a lift, and good air condition and pool
Cons: It needs a remodel, kind of out dated
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is truly a splendid Italian Hotel! I loved especially the crunchy wooden floors and beautiful high ceilings of the old style.
Cons: No Wi-Fi in my room I had to go into the hall which had a lovely couch to connect to the Internet
7.5 Good
Pros: Close to all attractions and ferry landing and restaurant's.
Cons: No fridge in the room. The shower is tiny. No facial tissues. No coffee service in the room. Breakfast coffee was horrible. Hotel said there was parking. Not there. At a municipal lot.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff was helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The view of the lake from the room was perfect.
Cons: The bed mattress was horrific! One side of the mattress was so broken down, it was all I could do to stay on the bed. This is not about too hard or too soft. This mattress is completely worn out and should have been replaced months ago. A hotel of this caliber should really do better at knowing the quality of the sleep surfaces they are offering.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location and charm of the hotel. We got a view of the lake and truly enjoyed the entire stay! Breakfast was more than enough variety for all to partake in
Cons: The shower was very small-that I can live with, but there’s no where IN the shower to put soap, shampoo etc. Hard to maneuver in a small space and no where to put necessary things
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location is good
Cons: Booked a room with a lake view, arrived late so didn't realise I hadn't been given a lake view. No problem, happy with a refund for the difference for the 3 nights. When caught up with the manager (after 2 days) offered €30, but they would go to €60 if I refused this. Look at the lake view uplift, so initially lowballed and then not given a refund despite their mistake.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was by the frequent vehicle ferry at Bellagio so convenient from that regard, and not far from the passenger ferries (although passengers also use the vehicle ferry from Varenna, Menaggio and Cadenabbia/Griante). The hotel is traditional and long established. Our room overlooked the lake and vehicle ferry, and was clean and comfortable. Reasonable shower and free Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast was good with bacon and scrambled eggs in the buffet and standard or freshly made coffee. Decent selection of the usual continental breakfast. Reception staff were polite and helpful. Pleasant to sit by the pool after a long walk from Varenna to Bellano around the hills bordering the lake. Hotel runs a restaurant by the lake and on Friday and Saturday there was a guy playing a guitar and singing, which he did extremely well. Obviously this and the ferry created some noise for rooms overlooking the front, but we just let the sounds lull us to sleep. Easy to catch ferries to various places - just allow time to buy a ticket as when we were there in lake September the place was full of American tourists on a 'discover the real Italy' tour and the ticket offices were besieged! Bellagio has been a tourist town for 100 years, so loads of restaurants with prices varying from dear to exhorbitant. There is a launderette (€4 per wash + €5 for dryer) with a very conveniently situated wine bar just opposite! Three nights is enough unless you are using it as a convenient base for walking the hills.
Cons: As a note (not a dislike); the hotel is just within a 'special zone' where you have to drive around the back of the town and along cobbled streets that make you wonder if you've gone the wrong way. When you check in you are asked if you have driven this way, and if so you have to sign to say so; the hotel then makes a return of 'residents' so you don't get a fine. If you are able to park right by the ferry it's most convenient as the hotel is just a few steps away. Parking is expensive at €1.50 an hour, payable from 08:00-20:00 (so €18/day) but there's little other option. Free parking is available but up around the back streets. You can fill up the machine for all day parking and pay by credit card so you're not tied to feeding the meter on an hourly basis.
