Pros: Nice clean and comfortable motel. Very modern and updated. Comfortable bed and good bathroom. Located right in the town center but in a quiet area of city. We could walk to the wonderful pub and other very good restaurants of the "Octagon" area. We went to a movie at a spectacular old movie house right in the city center and close to the motel. Motel parking was convenient and free.

Pros: Staff were so friendly, managed to leave my purse with the key card in it in a restaurant that was closed so couldn’t get into our room. The lovely man helped us at about midnight then the next day the front desk lass was so kind when I told her we couldn’t check out as we didn’t have the key cards, absolutely amazing staff. Room was so clean! The forest and bird conditioner and shampoo smelt great and did a great job which you can’t say for all hotel s&c. Definitely would stay again.

Cons: Very dirty bathroom with mould in corners. Window fasteners were old and some were broken creating draughty conditions. The lighting was inadequate needs to be updated to LED lights. Main queen bed to old for a motel being saggy with roll together. WiFI would not connect in our room [ 805 ] so we had to connect in the courtyard and then return to our room.

Pros: I booked a king room and got two single beds. When I went to reception and complained they gave me a king but the room was a very poor room. Very old and dated, yes we had a window but there was a wall so no view at all, very little daylight. The room should have been cleaner. I mentioned it on departure and the answer I got we had a cruise ship in with 80 rooms so could not help more. Sorry not good enough. If you sell me a certain standard of room then have it ready for me. Don’t sell my room to a group and hope I accept this poor standard.

Pros: Great hospitality. We were given some welcoming freebies which was very much appreciated having travelled a distance. Four of us stayed and there was plenty of room. The valet parking was super! The service was excellent and our room was warm and comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

Pros: The Hotel is great and is a lovely old building very well maintained and very well cleaned. Unfortunately the only option left for us was a mixed dorm room which I would of loved 20 years ago, however this still did not ruin our experience as the friendly staff and clean facilities more than made up for the not so ideal accommodation. I highly recommend the facility to all ages and would bring my kids to stay here next time (probably not in the mixed dorm)

Pros: We had no problems. It was quiet. The location was near center city. Younger people could walk to the octagon and museums and restaurants. We had a private bathroom, toilet, and shower. We paid xtra for it.
