Cons: The bathroom was not clean, we had to clean toalet after the previous guest ourselves. One can hardly expect such an unpleasant surprise in a 4* hotel. Someone's hair on bedlinen was also disappointing. The hotel was overcrowded, but this is obviously not a reason for poor room cleaning.

Cons: Rooms for a hotel in this category are a bit spartan. The hotel is showing some wear and tear. Biggest problem was the noise. It was late September and the weather was not hot, not cold. The hotel had turned on the heat, despite my trying to turn it off. The heat was considerable. I opened the windows to get fresh air and keep the room bearable, but the street noise (all night) was incredibly loud. The hotel is right next to the University, so it was not a surprise as students come home from the bars (until 6am), but it led to a night of little sleep.

Front desk immediately upsold us a more expensive room although the food that came with it was a decent value. For as large as the room was the bathroom was poorly laid out with a tiny shower.

Big commitment to being eco friendly... you get a brown paper bag each morning with single use coffee cups in the room.. why not just use cups? Over €30 each for breakfast is absolutely criminal... Sauna is again an additional extra of over €45 to cover your stay however it's only opened at specific times that really made no sense! Surly you should have full use of the facilities after paying the crazy surcharge?? They'll probably put it down to being eco friendly!! Eco Friendly is the way forward but you don't need to overcharge customers for the pleasure!...

Cons: I didn't like the restaurant smells carrying into the lobby..always smelled of meat. the staff was less than friendly or helpful at the desk. did their job, but didn't create a welcoming feeling. The room was very cozy/small and the lamps that were on the tables took more space than necessary. Hard to work on so I put the lamp on the floor. I was worried about being on the balcony cove as the space is very small, and hard to open the door and if it closed, there was no way to regain entry from the outside.

These need a rethink to suit early departures and care for new arrivals who stay only for several days .... As a customer, after purchasing a meal and looking forward to consuming a cooked version of it ,using the electricity provided,. I familiarised myself w your rules only to have this occur.... The customer of the accommodation's food was not purchased to be stolen or thrown out prematurely before expiry, nor used communally, before even opening seals and packages.!!!!! In review, a highly unsatisfactory arrangement and annoying to have to repeat and respend on meals on an hourly basis. I have no evidence who to accuse of such mean and deliberate actions...however you may have cc tv or surveillance and might enlighten the customer...Also it was noted that non paying people were allowed to enter the premises and loiter for the free food left in the kitchen...N.B.The kitchen facilities were also attended to unbegrudgingly and voluntarily cleaned to spotless at several peak meal times..This needs noticing...and better signage to maintain hygiene expectations from all users. Overall quite disappointing to go hungry.. however when you were open ,your outside bar area kitchen food chips were great. A shame I experienced such behavior perhaps you need to sign en Dansk...Farvel a fellow Danish Australian

It meant I can’t even hear or feel my neighbor climbed up for her bed. It’s not so common to find the hostel like this. Pros: Hostel is really clean, quiet, cosy, I slept well every night! Once I inserted my earplugs before sleeping i was totally disconnected from everything. It meant I can’t even hear or feel my neighbor climbed up for her bed. It’s not so common to find the hostel like this. Also if compare the cost of living in Copenhagen this hostel is cheap with full of facilities I wanted. I love it and really recommend here. Plus staffs are friendly! They have plenty of smiles.

Pros: The location was very convenient - close to everything we needed. We had 6-beds room for two of us ( twin room option), so there was enough space and facilities for us. It had all we needed. It is very great value for money accomodation.
Cons: check-in can be a little bit confusing, as we didn't have on our booking the reservation number, plus there can be queues to self check in. as you don't need to contact with receptionists you can miss some benefits of the place if you don't know or ask, e.g. free water downstairs. All of this is more a specific of the place, more than a flaw. But we had an unpleasant moment before check out, as the cleaner mostly cleaned the room before we check out no matter we left our luggage and it was before the check out time, so we couldn't use facilities much before going to airport and he threw away our water.

Cons: We did not like that the rooms were way too small. The rooms portrayed online and through the websites make the rooms appear bigger than they are. It was hard for my wife and I to move around and we only had backpacks with us.
The bathroom was another story and we hated it. The bathroom floor is literally one floor where you stand on which you shower, go bathroom, and use the mirror. The toilet holder was barely holding onto the wall and fell off a couple times and the towel holders were in the same condition.

The room was fine, my main issue was that the entire floor was slanted like 20 degrees (seriously, it was an uphill walk from the door to the windows) meaning the bed was uneven and it was not comfortable to sleep on (try getting comfortable when you're rolling downhill). My partner had to stick books and objects under one side of the bed to try to even it out. Cobwebs and other indicators that the room hadn't been fully cleaned in awhile. The room was small and old fashioned but that didn't really bother us (it's Europe) but on the whole I didn't think it was worth the price.

Cons: the hotel was not in full capacity in low season. the room given to us was all the way in the back next to the dumpster with utilities view. When requested a different room with a more decent view, received the same response of having no other room in the same category and requested higher price for a different room. My reservation was not cheap, and i don't think is fair to be in an unpleasant room when the hotel has available capacity to make its guests´stay pleasant.

Cons: The hotel rooms were nice but they were a bit small. Our room faced a brick wall so there was no view, nada. When we got to the hotel at 4pm they told us that the room wasn't ready, which was annoying. Aside from that our experience at the hotel was pleasurable.

Cons: The rooms were small. I barely had enough space to open my suitcase. The twin double beds, when pushed together having a gaping hole in the middle which feels quite annoying when you move around in your sleep. I found a couple hairs in my bedding when I first arrived and my toilet My was cracked and leaking water. The room is noisy since windows are thin, you can hear all traffic outside and the insulation is poor as you can hear all conversations from inside and outside rooms if you’re less than 30 feet away. The lighting in the room is nice and modern and decor is also modern. My other complaint was the poor quality of the AC. The thermostat was so old I couldn’t see if it was on/or or what temperatures I was setting it at. My other complaint is that there’s no restaurant, so you have to leave the hotel for food. Since it’s conveniently located you can easily walk to places for food. Staff is also very friendly. But I don’t think I will be staying at this hotel again.

It consisted of bread, cereal, yoghurt, boiled eggs, two cheeses and two cold meats. These are the items I avoid at a buffet breakfast! There is a charge for anything else. Beds - We had a twin room, the beds consisted of a bed base with a thin 5cm foam on top. There WAS NO MATTRESS! The pillows were flat, we requested additional and these were never rcvd. Bathroom amenities are not replaced.

Cons: When I checked in, I found the bathroom and toilet not clean and reported to the front desk. The staff member did not do anything about it! There was mold all around the shower area and the toilet bowl was not cleaned or flushed! After the first night, I woke up with many bites over my neck, shoulders and upper arms. I reported to the front desk. The housekeeping supervisor started arguing with me by saying that there could not be any bugs. I told her that I am doctor and I know when I have been bitten by bugs/mites in the pillow and bedding. I was finally moved to another bedroom. However, I fear that they never closed and fumigated the first room I was in!

Cons: The merchandise at reception is rather extortionately priced. We find the price to be a bit much overall. Personally I'm not a fan of there not being cubicles to change in the pool showers so you are nude in front of other women but it's not that bad.

Cons: Only 2 things that could make this an even better experience. Light comes through the glass door of the bathroom, if in use during the night- this disturbs sleep. Place for smokers is in front of the main entrance, so one has to walk through smoke/smoking people when entering the hotel. This can and should be changed. The deposit of 400 dkr. for potential expenses came as a surprise - was not really explained.

Cons: I arrived after 12:00 and was told that a room at my level was not available while others were allowed to go to their rooms. I asked if I could be called or texted when it was available, I was told no, I just needed to keep coming back and asking. That is not 4-star service.
I found out later from a friend that she was told the same thing, but she told them no, I want a room now, and she was given one.
On top of that, the rooms are very small for a 4-star hotel. I won't stay there again.

The breakfast was so late in the morning that we had to leave for the airport before eating and the reception desk closes early in the evening and opens late in the morning with no one available during those times.

The shower was so small that there was nowhere to put your belongings (not even one hook) and the drain so very slow to drain that you had to shower quickly so as not the flood the place. In the morning both toilets were filthy, which is not a fault of the establishment but other grotty guests...but was a total turn off. I ended up going up the stairs to the next floor and along a long corridor to use a toilet (they also had better shower facilities on the next floor). One night there was enough.

Cons: Nothing wrong with the room itself but there was much noise from the street at night. In addition, a group of youngsters decided to have a party in the hallway in the middle of the night which despite the noise went unnoticed by the hotel staff. Several attempts to ask the group to move party into one of their rooms was unsuccessful and as such we got very little sleep on the first night of our stay.

Cons: It's a good place to stay, and overall I have no complains about the place himself. But I do not like the section of hostels that become a lubricated machine for profits. Nothing is included in the price. If you want a lock you will need to put it on separately. If you want a locker you will have to pay for it (for example, you will not be able to choose 2 hours or 4 hours, but only set times like - 1 hour, 6 hours or 24 hours). Even towels or soap will have to pay separately. Try to push you a million things for an extra fee (ones you need and ones you don't need). It's a bad thing, in the end, it's a business trying to make a living, but the cost of it is that the place, at least for me, loses the authenticity of a hostel with a soul and an extraordinary atmosphere of hospitality. Another thing I did not like was that prices vary significantly by time and many give like demand level, holidays, cancellations of flights. Sometimes you don't want to go to a hostel because your stuff is already there, but you will be surprised that you have to pay double the price. And they don't guarantee you'll stay in your room. 2 nights I stayed there I stayed in the same room, but the third night they told me that a group had rented the room and everyone sleeping in the room had to move to another room that day

Even now that we are back home, we realized that our charger, cable and converter were left in the room and with a friendly email they let us know that they found it and now are in the process to mail it to us. The hotel Thai restaurant in the hotel was amaizing. The room (in line 16) had the most beautiful view to the whole city. The most comfortable bed and pillows. The location could not be better! Just minutes to the airport, walking distance to the metro. A place you must stay!!!! Thank you for make our stay a great experience!!!

They have a 24 hour cafe at reception where you can buy sandwiches, coffee, tea, soft drinks, beer, wine and chocolate. Having bought said treats you can then sit in the generous common lounge. Breakfast has all the goodies, hot and cold as well as a large dining room The bathroom may be bijou but it works. And no nothing else gets wet. Cons: The bathroom was a bit of a challenge. Just like a small ferry one. The tap switching water from the sink to the shower was very sensitive and you could get wet when using the sink. All part of the fun in hotels!

Cons: When we booked the hotel,when we asked for a quiet room, I didnt realise they wer upgrading us to a deluxe room which was at a higher cost. Perhaps I should have realised when we got the credit card statement. So my fault there. In previous stays in copenhagen when we asked for a quieter room,there was no extra charge. Overall surprising nice hotel.Staff were good.

This hotel lacks that in all features, from the random missing ceiling panels to the individual lights (maybe 10-15 switches) in the rooms to the giant curtain covering ...a wall... This place needs updating. Nothing was that bad, but we stayed in nicer hostels in Copenhagen

Cons: Hotel is located literally right next to the train tracks. Half of the rooms (odd numbered) would be ok, since they are on the opposite side, but if you have an even numbered room, the trains will be passing within a few meters of your window at all hours of the night. The windows are also not insulated against the noise, so there is little chance you won't be woken up multiple times. The hotel provides earplugs for this, but still... Also, no air conditioning.
