Cons: Not to recommend. The staff is RUDE and incompetent. The housekeeping took away a towel that we brought ourselves (in a pink color, not white). Then the receptionist was just too arrogant and pompous to help. After claiming that it might have been our own fault to forget where we left it. It appeared again, next morning, brought by the house keeper with suspicious brown flakes allover. It could have been a minor matter, if we didn't have to call the reception twice and got very unfriendly and unhelpful comments all the time. Not to recommend. Very very bad experience.

This time we had breakfast in lounge as there was some event conference but it was nice and comfortable (smaller but good). Room was perfect and staff was helpful. We had dog with us and there was no trouble with it. We ordered room service Marriott Burger and Coconut curry soup and it was just amazing! Free wellness and gym is amazing - super recommending to everyone to relax to sauna and pool

Pros: I've came for the Kunst!Reisen festival, so the hotel was placed very good for me. ~25 min by feet to get the city centre going along the Rhein river. Underground is also in 5 min away. The room was clean and i had a bottle of water for free. My windows had a stinning view on the river and mountains. There is no mini bar in the frige but you can use bars on the EG ans 17th floors. Breakfast was good, there were options for vegetarians.

Cons: It's a bit impersonal. Our reservation was for 2 adults and 1 child, but the 3rd bed (sofa) was not ready, although we checked in after 7 PM. We called several times the reception but there was no answer and we had to go downstairs to ask for someone to come and convert the sofa to a bed, and it took more than 20 min, to send someone to our room. Also, it was a bit noisy on our first night even though we were on the 15th floor. I think there is a theater or something similar in the same building and that's were noise and music came from.

Cons: Theres a glass wall betwenn bedroom and bathroom. If someone uses the bathroom on the middle of the night the hole room gets bright. Really annoying. . . Apart from that, I had a terrible experience at the sky bar. I reported to the hotel and Im still waiting some answer. The view is nice but the place is overpriced and the manager team is not prepared to deal with public. Terrible custumer service. I bet Bonn have better bars.

Cons: A bit further out from the city centre. Not as clean as I'd expect a 4 star Marriott suite to be. No free water provided at the sauna area so could easily get dehydrated until you pay for the water. A little dirtier than I expected - especially when a suite was booked. Booked for 3 people but only 2 pairs of slippers were in the room even though 3 bath robes were provided.

Cons: There were 3/4 elevators working (only one going to parking and spa) and because hotel was probably fully booked and there are no stairs... so waiting time for elevators was 5-15 minutes (One time I just had to leave and go to the garage from the outside) which was really annoying at some points. Also there was line for check out for like 30 minutes. Last time we didn't have this issue so I assume its just when hotel is overbooked so its understandable.

Cons: Considering what Marriot charge for the room, its about time they stopped ripping of customers for breakfast @17 GBP , and parking costs @ EUR 20 per day in a multi storey carpark close to the hotel. This is a hotel for the corporate business traveller on expenses which is OK, you get what you pay for.

Cons: Everything was very good except small things. i asked for an iron and it took more than an hour to deliver it to me.. so, got it later than it was needed. Too difficult to reach gym, only 2 of the 4 elevators go there and gym was unexpectedly small. Fitness equipment works in german language, you can learn it during exercises :) The barman on the EG floor was a bit slowly :) and i didn't like the way you pay for your room. As a guest i just want to pay the price during check in and don't care about that during my check out, when the reception woman tells you must pay again because your money was just blocked but it wasn't a payment bla-bla-bla...

Cons: We booked 2 rooms and asked them to have connecting rooms if possible(2 months before the stay), but what they could was to have the room in the same wing only, and was apart 5 to 6 rooms. We stayed there 4 nights, but the complimentary water was just for the first day and just to welcome. There was no tea/coffee available in the room. One day, we have to complain to the hotel staff because after the cleaning of the room, one big towel in the room was wet.

The next day I asked for an extension at 8am and the same lady told me ‘sorry, we’re full’. I was very disappointed to say the least. On top of that, the woman cleaning rooms (very early in the morning) was intrusive and rude.

Cons: Pretty warm rooms. Opening a window is not an option due to the noise of the train station.
The taste of the coffee was not hot and not very tasty. Even with only few people having breakfast we had to ask for coffee severals times.
All in all the staff was moderate polite but nothing more.
Parking in the hotel is very expansive and the free wifi is only working in slow motion.

Unfortunately, I didn’t remember that I had a breakfast included rate and I wasn’t reminded at -in. Remembered for the second day though and the breakfast was lovely but way overpriced. Not only is the room tired and dated but so are things like the towels (old and frayed) and the bathroom amenities are extremely limited and not replaced daily.

Pros: The staff were extremely pleasant and accomodating with helpful sightseeing information. The location was so central and we could walk everywhere easily. The river is not far for boat trips and the train station is nearby. Bus from the airport stops practically outside. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Staff were so pleasant at both reception and the breakfast area and the room was spotlessly clean with lots of room and a lovely view overlooking the square. The tv also had lots of English speaking channels too which I have never had in Germany before and was a bonus. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again. Very relaxing trip.

Cons: Not technically a Hotel.. More like very small apartments (full kitchen and office/living room area). My own fault for not really reading all the details. Room not updated since the 70s, 80s, very weird feeling, like stepping back in time. Bed has a wall at the foot part too, and a ceiling partition, so its very claustrophobic, feels like a pod. NO AIR CONDITIONING - advertised as having air-con, the air con is a very old fan system, and even the adjustment button, is glued to minimum so it cant be used. The only reason I picked this was because of the air-con advertised under facilities. Restaurant was "on holiday" so no facilities to eat dinner, only breakfast, at extra cost, which is not worth the money. Location was terrible, only one small bar about 10 minute walk away. Use of car park is at an extra cost.

Pros: The apartment was very impressive and exceeded our expectations, it was very big and comfortable. A large dining table, sofa, beds were nice and plenty of room for our family of 6. It was very clean. Kitchen was nicely fitted. Parking was in a private courtyard that was locked with a gate at night, our car was fully loaded as we just stopped for one night so gave a good safe feeling. The staff were also very friendly. Short walk to town, or tram is just outside.

Cons: We booked a family room for 5. We ended up with 3 single beds and a single bed chair. Asking for explanation we were told that little children can sleep in king size bed ... Which could be done if the "little " child wasn't a 9 y.o. and the bed is , in fact 2 SINGLE BEDS SIDE BY SIDE... Quite difficult to manage having anyone in the middle. The other single bed almost sent me to the A&E as the header shared half of the space with the window concrete sill. No air con, on opening the room a wall of heat so dense it made us look in each other eyes, and now? Too tired to complain again we opened fully the 3 big windows. Unfortunately been on a very busy crossroad with trams, bus and cars you can imagine the noise. To top it up at 1:30am the usual drunken making noise, vomiting and urinating on the hotel wall, and then revving the car for a good end of the day. And no lift, not a problem for my husband but I wouldn't be able to carry my baggage up the flights of stairs.

Cons: Unfortunately the breakfast was a big fail. We explicitly reserved and checked after our check-in for a breakfast reservation for us plus additional family guest to enjoy a nice breakfast to start our day of family celebration. Even though the reservation was confirmed, the restaurant staff had no idea about our reservation when we showed up in the morning. The buffet was very close to all-empty, so it didn't really matter that there were no dishes either. We had to request every bit of the buffet to be re-filled individually - which happened rather slowly. Considering a price of 19€ per person the delivered buffet and service was simply unacceptable. On the plus side - the few things we did get were tasty and there is a nice and cheap bakery close by...

It's a perfect location from which to get out and explore.
Cons: This hotel bills itself as four-star, but don't be misled by this. The facilities are quite basic and there is nothing in the location, design or furnishings that said 'four-star' to me. Perhaps the small spa suite (pool & sauna) in the basement increased the star rating, but it still felt like a good, three-star hotel. Hence, we felt the cost of our stay and of breakfast (€14 - summer 2019) a little expensive.

Pros: Went because it was air conditioned but it didn't work at all. The restaurant was extremely slow with only two tables. The pool was not working which was another reason why we booked during a heat wave. Very disappointing. The bar was not even open because they said there was no one to work there

Cons: It was a boring museum, where: all the furnishings were extremely worn out/tired; cabinet door fell down, when you tried to open it; Armchairs were more shabby than flea market goods, one chair was less, one chair was more torn apart; the TV was not working; There was no Internet, and according to the hotel managment, it will remain modest in the future as Telekom does not provide enough data transfer capacity; you can hear through walls

Cons: the air conditioning was broken and the hotel did not inform us, we opened the windows during the night but did not sleep at all because there was a samba dating party with 500 people downstairs and outside, the hotel did not even apologize or bothered to tell us the room was not clean, dust on the side lamps etc. nobody in the restaurant , no clients awful this hotel was the no 1 ten years ago, now it is a run down place

Cons: Air conditioning was not working, which was painful during the heatwave. They stop serving breakfast at 10:30, also on weekends, which I find a bit early.

Cons: There was no snack bar in the room and no equipment to prepare tea, the furnitures are old and the room was very dusty.

Cons: I was at this hotel for nearly three weeks. The air conditioning was out the full time I was there in spite of multiple complaints to management in the middle of one of the worst heat waves in Europe. Absolutely unacceptable the way they treat guests at an expensive four star hotel. Will never stay here again or at any Centro hotel they do not put their guests first.

Cons: We were in the attic Family Room, which was spacious but not a well organised use of space, with a shower in the bedroom and a shared toilet. It was a long way up with no lift, and got very hot under the eaves (although fans were provided).
