The public transport ticket that is included is very usefull, as public transport is very well organised in Bonn, and the central station is one of the major nodes in this network. Cons: Bar was not open on Sunday.Lack of internet in the room for two moring, but it was avaiable in the lobby. Noticed some spot on the curtains and armchair. Room 342. Pity there was no fish for breakfast.

Pros: Perfect location, right next to the railway station and within walking distance of the old city center. The public transport ticket that is included is very usefull, as public transport is very well organised in Bonn, and the central station is one of the major nodes in this network. So you very quickly and easily get wherever you want in and around Bonn.
Cons: Some background noise in the room : off course there is some noise from the railway station right below the hotel (limited hindrance as soundproof windows are present). The ventilation in the bathroom is constantly on, and cannot be switched off, which can be an annoying monotonous background noise if you start to pay attention to it.

Cons: Pretty warm rooms. Opening a window is not an option due to the noise of the train station.
The taste of the coffee was not hot and not very tasty. Even with only few people having breakfast we had to ask for coffee severals times.
All in all the staff was moderate polite but nothing more.
Parking in the hotel is very expansive and the free wifi is only working in slow motion.

The parking situation was annoying it cost 20€ and it was a long walk with a suitcase.

Cons: .... some, but not all, of the staff are woefully inadequate. The restaurant waitress was so sullen we went into town to eat (the breakfast staff were great). It took 3 attempts to get the vacuous evening receptionist to provide a remote for the TV.

Cons: Shower is slightly dated. There was no koffie or tea facilities in the room such as a small water cooker or nespresso. There was a small fridge in the room. The following is not the fault of the hotel but it is on the river and there was a lot of noise from students partying until the middle of the night.

Cons: The sauna only opens at 17h and the lady at the reception didnt tell me that. Its also not convenient that one has to cross the lobby to reach it. Room wasnt ready at 15h. I had to come back twice.

Cons: The hotel is situated on the Rein river and not far from center, but to reach it in the evening is rather dangerous and scary, as there is park, where are no people and lights. There is no free wi-fi in rooms, in the lobby there is a computer but you need to give the receptionist your credit card or passport to use this computer maximum for one hour. The hotel has restaurant but it is always booked, so if you are staying at the hotel, it's not possible to have a lunch or dinner there, the receptionist woman recommended to go to another restaurant about 20-25 minutes away and didn't mention that there is a room food service.... The windows face either the park or river and it's very noisy outside: songs, loud music...

Cons: The structural noise - you could not help but hear everything, and there was a constant rumbrling noise. In the morning this was accompanied by a consistent knocking noise. Despite this the experience was fantastic - my wife shares the same opinion

Cons: My room was not made for my second night stay since they did not complete the room by 3:30 when I came back to my room and after that I went out at about 4:30 and I suppose it was too late for housekeeping - so my bed wasn't made, my towels were changed etc.

Cons: One of our party for dinner did not receive what they ordered, but the staff made us feel it was our fault and could have been more gracious and customer focused. This was the only bad experience with the hotel staff, otherwise they were excellent.

Pros: Great hotel, good location, not far from the center, a lot of restaurants, pubs and stores found on the main street just outside the property. Great breakfast. The best staff on reception. They helped me with some information and even to solve a specific issue by making a lot of phone calls, speaking with relevant agencies in German and not letting me go until the issue was solved! Thank you! I will definitely back on my next stay in Bonn!

Cons: There was no one at the reception past 6 pm in the afternoon, which is actually really early in the day. That's not a friendly way to greet your guests. I understand that it's a way to cut costs but in that case the room should be cheaper.

Cons: My original (non-smoking) room smelled very strongly of stale cigarette smoke - but the friendly receptionist was very helpful and found another room for me right away.

Cons: The only downside was that my room was way too warm to sleep. Unfortunately, the room didn't have a window. It only had a terrace door, which I did not want to leave open during the entire night.

Cons: Just one thing - on arrival over weekends, no staff to open and it was not clear who to phone for the key. Especially when the confirmation stated openeing hours to be till 22:00 and not 18:00 - I assumed I would be in time - I arrived just after 18:00 and had to phone the other hotel for keys - and my phone didn't have voice roaming, had to phone at the friendly staff at the Greek Restaurant down the road.
