Cons: The hotel is situated on the Rein river and not far from center, but to reach it in the evening is rather dangerous and scary, as there is park, where are no people and lights. There is no free wi-fi in rooms, in the lobby there is a computer but you need to give the receptionist your credit card or passport to use this computer maximum for one hour. The hotel has restaurant but it is always booked, so if you are staying at the hotel, it's not possible to have a lunch or dinner there, the receptionist woman recommended to go to another restaurant about 20-25 minutes away and didn't mention that there is a room food service.... The windows face either the park or river and it's very noisy outside: songs, loud music...

Cons: The structural noise - you could not help but hear everything, and there was a constant rumbrling noise. In the morning this was accompanied by a consistent knocking noise. Despite this the experience was fantastic - my wife shares the same opinion

Cons: One of our party for dinner did not receive what they ordered, but the staff made us feel it was our fault and could have been more gracious and customer focused. This was the only bad experience with the hotel staff, otherwise they were excellent.

Cons: Pretty warm rooms. Opening a window is not an option due to the noise of the train station.
The taste of the coffee was not hot and not very tasty. Even with only few people having breakfast we had to ask for coffee severals times.
All in all the staff was moderate polite but nothing more.
Parking in the hotel is very expansive and the free wifi is only working in slow motion.

Cons: Just one thing - on arrival over weekends, no staff to open and it was not clear who to phone for the key. Especially when the confirmation stated openeing hours to be till 22:00 and not 18:00 - I assumed I would be in time - I arrived just after 18:00 and had to phone the other hotel for keys - and my phone didn't have voice roaming, had to phone at the friendly staff at the Greek Restaurant down the road.

Cons: As an incentive for business travelers, the hotel manager should buy more iron and iron boards, since there are very few there. As a tourist I wouldn't need them, but as a business traveler, they are very useful.

Shower had a good flow but of course flooded the entire bathroom because the drain could not cope with it. Room layouts are very weird and rooms are interconnected. Very little noise reduction from each room and outside. Not to mention staff forgot to lock the interconnection and the neighbour by mistake entered our room while we were sleeping. It was a decent older couple but that kept me thinkg what if it was a crazy drunk person. Safety and privacy zero. Spa was ok and food was fair nothing special. Do not deserve a 5 star. Hell, not even 2 for the terrible mattress they provided

Cons: The reception staff were not friendly or helpful. This was a 5 star hotel but they refused to take our bags to our room. When we discovered that 'design' means minimalist and there was no wardrobe to store the bags in, they were very reluctant to store them for us. There was a wardrobe actually. It was a short metal bar with 5 hangers on, leaving your clothes in full view. Getting in the room was usually tricky as well - you needed to be very strong to turn the lock. The reception staff said, yes, they had received complaints about it but it was new technology so our problem, not theirs. The lighting in the room was also very bright but not in a good way. It was very clinical and 7€ for a bottle of water seems a little expensive!

Cons: The interior seems a bit tired, the TV had only 1 English channel, and the heating wasn't working very well. These are all minor points. What is extremely important to notice, and other travelers have mentioned this as well, is that the sound proofing (which the hotel states on its website) only refers to the inside of the hotel. Sounds from outside, including but not limited to trains, can be heard quite easily, even on the fifth floor looking onto the street.

Pros: I really enjoyed the great location of the hotel right in the center of Bonn, as well as the friendliness of the staff working in the reception. Beside, the hotel offers the guests access to a fitness center next to the hotel which is really great especially after a day of working :)

Cons: The receptionist was hostile and quite rude. Check your booking carefully since it was not clear whether your bathroom was private or not. The bed was broken. 1 towel provided for 2 people.

Cons: I have no complaints about the hotel as it was what I expacted. I new I booked a basic room and looked up photos before booking, shower is a cabin in the room and the toilet was on the hall way but there was a sink in the room as well. The only comment is that the Tv didnt work but I was too lazy to get this fixed. no lift, so be prepared for a bit of stair climbing!

Pros: I really enjoyed the great location of the hotel right in the center of Bonn, as well as the friendliness of the staff working in the reception. Beside, the hotel offers the guests access to a fitness center next to the hotel which is really great especially after a day of working :)
Cons: The quality of the bed wasn't really the best I have had and the very weak signal in the room for wifi access other than that I was quite happy with the hotel.

Cons: The location was inappropriate for anyone who has more than a little piece of luggage. No elevator was available even though hotel had multiple floors (without a ground floor). Double room had separate beds - not good for husband and wife occupancy.
