Pros: A pleasant Hotel and good value for money.
Cons: The evening before departure I noticed someone had parked behind me in the car park. I took the details from the car; room number, name etc. I followed the instructions provided. I telephoned their room 4 times but could not reach them. I therefore spoke to Reception and checked out at the same time. Unfortunately the Receptionist was downright rude and unfortunately this is the memory that I will take away of the Lyndene. Never mind.

Pros: The location is great, and the evening entertainment was fun. The price is reasonable, and it's far enough out of town to not be disturbed by Blackpool partygoers.
Cons: The bathroom wasn't clean. It was cold and I asked for a blanket (there wasn't one in my room) and it never arrived. The cold kept waking me up despite piling my coats on top of me during the night. The security for the area where the car keys are kept is a joke- it's only a matter of time until a car gets stolen.

Pros: Staff made us feel exceptionally welcome and cared for. Especially Jakub and Sarah made our stay a pleasure. Room was clean and well heated, beds very comfortable. There was enough space in the room for three of us to prepare for dance competition, there was a rail with hangers for our costumes and a big mirror too. We also were lucky to have parking space at the hotel premises (first come first served). Minimal distance to Winter Gardens made it a perfect location to stay for a dance competition.

Pros: Location is excellent!! Staff were lovely!! Very much value for money. When you pay £20 just to be able to have a bed for the night and end up with a B&B with a bar, pool, darts, table football. Rooms were pokey and it does need a facelift but we expected that so overall worth the stay and would go back.

Pros: No one ever answers the phone I rang over 20 times over 5 weeks no one ever answers. Mix up over rooms instead of 4 beds in 1 room had to take 2 rooms with double beds. Heating didn't work .lift was ridiculously small and unless some ran up to the floor the lift was at and released the catch at the top that was sticking then you couldn't use the lift. Only good thing about it was the friendliest of the staff . I've never ever k own a hotel where no one e at answers the phone it's shocking. Wo t be staying and I as you e no chance of speaking to the hotel staff about anything.my advice to them is answer the phone !!!!

I said I had been using booking.com for years and had never had any issues before. 1.0 Poor
Pros: Staff were efficient & helpful.
Cons: Room 210 was very small for a double as was the bed we slepted in.Luckly we were only there 2 nights as we did not have a good night's sleep.I find Britannia do not spend money on refurbishment which this Hotel needs badly. When toilet was flushed the contents came back up bathroom sink,I reported this to reception on leaving. Asked reception about the small size of the room. They said it was a standard double room. Well that's what I paid for that's not what received. I received a three quarter bed rock hard you could feel the springs of the bed.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy bed, warm friendly hotel, welcoming staff, brilliant singer (Chelsea Scott?)downstairs in evening entertainment. We were just looking for a cheap place for the night but the Metropole was great. And it's the only hotel by the sea in Blackpool. For my first time in Blackpool it was a great introduction
Cons: There was a bit of a drainy smell in the foyer at one point, it may have been the cold weather affecting the plumbing.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Walking out of the door in the morning
Cons: Didn’t like the poor carpark. The staffs attitude, and reluctance to help me find an alternative carpark, I chose this hotel for the fact it is central, and has a carpark, instead I ended up parking in a multi story carpark for an excessive amount. I brought this up with the hotel clerk, asking if anything compensation could be received due to this, to which her response was no. The hotel was dated, the bathroom floor was wet through in the morning, due to a leaking pipe under the sink. I’m not an easily put off person, but when I pay as much as I did, I would expect some help/respect/compensation from the hotel, I then checked out quite easily in the morning and made my 10 minute walk in the freezing cold to the multi story carpark. Not impressed at all
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff were superb En suite excellent On site, cheap car park.
Cons: One light switch that operates all lights in the room, no bedside lights, so lights are either all on or all off. Only windows in room look into central well of the building which was strewn with rubbish and guano. Main lift out of action for duration of stay. Only Wi-Fi in lounge downstairs.
7.0 Good
Pros:
Cons: Bed was too small Dinner not varied enough

Cons: The car park was broken with holes I parked in number 15 . At around 1pm paid for our parking then had a walk as can book in until 3pm. At around 5 we walked towards from the town centre to our car to collect bags and book in my husband who has dementia walked towards the car , he walked into a hole where there was just one raised cobble that was still cemented in . He tripped and fell hurting his knee elbow shoulder and hip . We left the hotel the next morning at around 10am . Very disappointed the staff were nice but the breakfast was cold as was the bed room . The heating was on but the room was cold. As you can see from the car park picture the middle cobble is cemented in then there are holes all around , it was dark and the area was not well lit. Not impressed was told by reception that the car park didn’t belong to the hotel

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing to like !
Cons: Firstly greeted by a very rude man who tried to charge me again when I got there, had silly excuse computer wasn’t at hand, I had to argue the fact ! Then when I had problem with lock on door he dismissed it, room was absolutely disgustingly filthy as seen in pics.. no chest of draws or wardrobe or no tv or kettle, the windows was broken and didn’t close and radiator was hanging off wall, bed wasn’t fit enough for a dog tbh ! When I returned after a night out I pulled back quilt and sheets hadn’t been cleaned and was bed bugs as seen in photos. Toilet had broken window so they replaced it with plasterboard.. I couldn’t stay there and had to stay awake and get train at 5.20am to return home “AVOID”
