Cons: The bathtub water didn’t last long... but that’s okay, gotta save water. The robes need to be bigger, my partner is 6 foot 3-4 and it was very short on him, I’m 5 foot 5-6 and it was even short on me.

Pros: Where do I start... The location couldn’t have been better, it was central and a short walk to shops, parks, the zoo and if the footy was on it wouldn’t have taken long to get to. The room was amazing, I didn’t want to leave. Staff were great and friendly. The biggest plus for us was that they had a parking spot for our 2.4 m high car, no where else in Adelaide had a spot for us. Highly recommend, will be returning if I make it back to Adelaide.

Pros: We have stayed here twice on visits to Adelaide to see family - once when I was pregnant and more recently with a 7 month old. It is a great spot to stay - the accommodation is lovely, comfortable, clean and spacious. It is nice and quiet and looks out onto lovely gardens. You are just near a nice pub, restaurants and a few cafes and walking distance to the zoo. I would highly recommend a stay here and we will always stay here when we come to Adelaide.

The carparking on the internet was specified as $12 per day yet we were charged $18 but there was no advice on the internet of the difference in charging for valet parking. No attempt was made by the staff to rectif that situation so for the difference of $6 and the non-help in this situation we will not consider staying here again nor recommend this to friends and work colleagues.

Cons: This is a party hotel where people come to spend a night in the city. Rooms very noisy, plain and lacking in style or ambiance. 1st room had a dividing door and we could hear every word that was spoken. We moved rooms. 10.30 at night a party started in the room next door of that room. We called down to reception. The hotel staff knocked on the door many times before they were noticed by the party going on inside! We cannot express how disappointed we were. We will never stay in another Hilton as standard is not guaranteed.

Also someone was smoking in the corridor-yet again in the early hours of the morning- which meant the smoke leaked into my room causing me to have a coughing fit. Most unpleasant. The lack of natural light also caused some consternation.

Cons: Sometimes there are not parks available which is a major issue as we have the car and need to park it. It is not always possible to get street parking the cooking pots and utensils are very limited so that the "kitchenette" is almost useless

Cons: What we didn't like was the noisy water pipes from whenever water was turned on in other rooms, also you could hear people in next room using the loo, so its safe to guess they could hear us. Also when we checked in, the man that checked us in was spoke extremely rudely to another staff member in front of us. We felt quite sorry for the other man. So maybe not a good start for us.

Cons: Shower didn't work properly, hot water mixer to bath was broken. Son was already in bed when I tried to have a shower so made do and let staff know the next morning. They were unapologetic and completely ambivalent, not even an apology or any hint of caring.

Cons: Found that the bar staff weren't familiar with their drinks & cocktail menu. Had to ask 3 times for the cocktail menu. I think perhaps the staff member was new? and so did not know that there was a separate cocktail menu. Because we were in the middle of the building the room was a bit dark during the day & there was no view.

Cons: Had to move rooms at 10pm on my first night as rain (not even hail) made such a loud noise on the bathroom ceiling - loud enough to be heard over the phone! Must have been made out of corrugated iron or something similar. No apology about this but did get put in a bigger room. That room however was disrupted by either a shute or some other equipment at 7am every morning with a mechanical powering on followed by a banging noise, occurring repeating every few minutes throughout the day until maybe 6pm. Needless to say I had terrible sleep but I could not be bothered requesting another move, who knows what new noise would be found there. In addition, was told they had run out of toothbrush sets for the next two weeks.

Cons: -Very noisy from others and car going in/out -rude people next door, can even hear dog barking in the middle of night and others watching tv loud or doing dishes at 2am -dirty -reception hardly open -kitchen and hallway stink -cold & no heater -stayed 1 week and no housekeeping. -had to stay coz I paid for a week.. Will never go there again.. not recommended 1/10-only for easy transportation.

Cons: The room was gross, it felt really unclean and the pillows felt like towels wrapped around a piece of wood - they were rock hard. The shared bathroom for all guests had a toilet with a broken flush button that meant pushing the lever down inside the cistern by hand. We arrived late which meant that we never saw a staff member at all - just writing on the door telling us which room and the code to get the key from a lock box which was already open and it took nearly half an hour to find our room with no staff to show us through the maze, round hallways, out the back (outside), up a staircase and across a verandah to the room.

We have been staying here for 3mths now oaying $420 ech week because we were homeless. The manager has given us 7 days to move out, he is kicking us out because my partner was having a conversation with another backpacker that was staying here at the time little did we know that this guy was banned from staying here, so because my partner was chatting with him and he is banned we are getting kicked out. We didnt know he was banned, weve never met this person before. So after we have been an exceptional customer paying 420 a week for the last 3mthst they are booting us to the kerb with nowhete else to go, we have a dog which limits us on where we can stay, basically this hostel is making us homeless on the streets again. What can i do about this? Is there anything i can do? Because this is unfair. We are so upset right now not knowing where to go. I will have this place shut down within a minute if i wanted too, the amount of insects and rodents that are crawing aroundbthe kitchen whilst your cooking your dinner is disgusting, i saw a huge mouse one night run from underneath the fridge. Can you help me?
