Pros: Located in a new area at south of the city, close to shopping malls, parks and the arts district. Only 20 minutes walk to the Great Wild Goose Pagoda. The staff is very friendly and the room is spacious and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast (buffet style) are delicious. Very good area for its scenery, jogging and leisure. In the room you can find a cell phone to use during your stay; very useful to make and receive calls, search maps and other things.

Pros: Excellent location near Wild Goose Pagoda and open-air strolling areas, fountain show, restaurants. The hotel has beautiful traditional Chinese courtyards and evening live music (western music on Chinese traditional instruments). Ground floor rooms have a terrace and sitting area facing the courtyard.
Cons: Room comfort was ok to ok+, room on the small side, bathroom very cramped and shower just adequate. Staff minimally helpful! Initially putting us In a smoking room after asking us what we preferred. Cup of coffee 10 dollars if not at breakfast time. Wifi inadequate except for email, but this was true in every hotel we stayed in in China. Not able to accommodate an early breakfast (6:45 am, 15 minutes before their breakfast hours).
