The staff is great, hotel is awesome really nice bungalows right next to beach. Food is delicious
The Seaweed is the problem and hotel doesn’t disclose this...for the money its not worth it to stay with seaweed covered sea
The location is beautiful, and the way the little houses are setup on the beach. Be aware, however, that you will not be able to go into the sea for nine months of the year.
The price is OUTRAGEOUS given that (1) you cannot use the beach because it smells so bad due to the sargassum, and (2), it is a hippie hotel in the sand, not a luxury five star. The price is five star, nothing else is.
The bungalows are beautifully located, it feels like you are right on the beach. They have a nice terrace in front where you can sit to have a drink in the evening. It is very quiet in and around the resort (compared to other parts of Tulum) which is nice if you want to just relax or have a romantic holiday. The bed is super comfortable, and the bungalows are nicely decorated. Free drinking water is available in the bungalow as well. The staff is friendly, and the beds on the beach are comfy.
The airconditioning only works at night. I understand why, and I know that you can ask to have it turned on. But the bungalows don't stay cool well during the day, so I sometimes did secretly wish I just had airconditioning. There was a lot of seaweed around on the beaches when we visited so we could not go in the water, I think a pool would be a nice addition. That way you do not have to leave the resort to visit f.e. a cenote when there is a lot of seaweed.
The cutest rooms right on the beach. Awesome food.
Brown sea full of algae. May to September is algae season. I wish someone had told me
Friendly staff. Location was near attractions we wanted to visit.
Nothing. Everything was great.
