Car rental at Tambor Airport

Because most of the rental car companies at the airport are large brands travelers are familiar with, all of them will be relatively easy to utilize. If you happen to be a member of one of the loyalty rewards programs for the companies that operate at this airport, by all means, choose to utilize this company as this can offer me an expedited pickup process of your vehicle at this smaller airport.

Even though this airport does not have a dedicated rental car center, that does not mean there are not some great amenities you can utilize during your rental at the airport. When you are waiting to pick up your rental car, you can use some of the amenities of this airport terminal, such as ample restroom facilities, lots of seating choices, food and beverage options, and even some shopping options that offer a great way to pass the time.

Passengers who plan on renting a car at this airport will need a valid driver's license from their country of origin with their name on the license. While an international driving permit is not always a requirement, it is a good idea to bring one just to make sure you can always rent a car. Travelers need to be at least 21 years old to rent a car here, and since most rental car companies here will not accept debit cards or cash for a rental, it is a good idea to bring a major credit card with you as well.

The only car rental company that offers shuttle or pick-up services from Tambor airport to off-airport locations is Budget.
