San Miguel de Allende Bed & Breakfasts

Pros: There were 3 of us and we had a room with 2 king beds. The dressing room/closet space was very large. The grounds were beautiful. Breakfast was great. Our hosts were very helpful with directions.

Pretty garden setting and well maintained with out door seating if you want to have breakfast in the garden. Reception arranged for a driver to take us on a town tour which we appreciated

Pros: Our family stayed at Casa Real Colibri for two nights and we had the very charming Chalet room! The room was huge and very clean! Location is very good which makes it easy to explore the lovely San Miguel de Alldende on foot! Staff is very helpful and friendly and the free breakfast they serve is very elegant! The garden is also worth mentioning because it is so lovely and tranquil!

Pros: Location is great. Easy access to downtown. Spacious accommodation. Friendly staff. Great breakfast if you can compare it with other hotels or hostels in the zone. The staff really strove to make you feel at ease in the hotel and have a good experience in the time you spend there

Pros: This is a superb hotel! The location is a walkable distance from the center of activity in town, yet distant enough for quiet seclusion in peaceful surroundings. The hotel is beautifully decorated and furnished, and provides ample outdoor seating as well as a large spa. Terraces provide sunset views of the city overlooking lush landscaping, and below, several seating areas are nestled among the greenery and three ponds. The breakfast area is actually a spacious dining room with a terrace, and the adjacent bar is well stocked and could accommodate many more people than could be guests. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious -- eggs cooked to order, juice, toast, and very fresh fruit. The staff is efficient, polite, and very helpful. A big 10+ in every category!

Pros: I don't remember Booking.com giving any food and drink info. We found Puesta through friends. It's a B&B. Very nice.

Pros: Lovely, friendly, perfect, but hard for an older person with a cane to walk to town. Needed a cab but it only cost 70 pesos. Worth it for the quiet and the view and the gardens.

Pros: The host Magdalena was very welcoming, friendly, informative and accommodated all of our needs including and not limited to ironing our clothes, providing/ refilling bottled water, even providing us with fresh roses “such a homey gesture”, and letting us stay a little longer after our checkout time since we were not leave until 7:30pm on the day of checkout.

Pros: The Hotel Was Beyond and Above My Expectations. From the moment I called the hotel to ask if they had parking, the lady asked me what kind of car I had and if I was out front because she wanted to personally have one of the staff members take down our bags and excort us to the parking structure (Better yet the owner had someone from the parking structure pick up my car and take it for safe keeping). The front door of the hotel has a high tech system that only hotel guest keys can open (All digital, very High tech). As you walk thru the front door , it immediately takes you back to history, rustic , romantic scenery. Flowers, water fountain, mirrors, paintings deck the entire hotel entity. You walk up about 20 narrow stairs (Stair case) and it takes you to this enchanting loft . This hotel has 3 amazing rooms on the 2nd floor and 1 amazing room on the 3rd floor. As we walked into our room, my husband and I were blown back. Our room was from a fairly tale book. 2 Beautiful enchanting romantic canopy beds with drapes from top to bottom awaited us when we opened our room door. In front of each draped canopy bed was a window with a small balcony overlooking the plaza a Church....This View was priceless. Let me clear it up, it was not a room ....it was a Royal Suite! The bathroom was HUGE! The biggest and deepest tube I've seen. The tube titles have history and make the entire bathroom have charm and charisma. The bathroom was a equipped with every bathroom essential product! It even had a HUGE Jar of bubble bath liquid for your Bath. Two over sized white robes waited comfortably to be enjoyed. Our fairytale Suite had a ITALIAN INSPIRED kitchen .The Rooftop is a WOWZER! THERE ISN'T ENOUGH WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE ROOFTOP! TAKES YOUR BREATH AWAY WITH ALL THE CHURCH ROOFTOPS YOU SEE. CANOPY , SWING BEDS WERE THAT SPECIAL ROOFTOP TOUCH. ROOFTOP IS RELAX MODE FORSURE. THE STAFF WAS SUPERB ALL THE TIME. THEY WENT THE EXTRA MILE EVERYTIME WE RAN INTO THEM.

Pros: Location was excellent as was the facilities the hotel, with staff who more than happy to help with any problem. The breakfasts were served at nearby restaurants and were excellent in quality and service. The only issue was that they were not easy to find, more to do with language issues than any thing else but they were both equally as good when we worked out where they were located.

Pros: The staff was very helpful and made us feel at home. It is very centrally located, enough to be able to pop back during the day, yet not noisy. Nice terrace to sit early mornings and late evenings.

Pros: What a gorgeous property! Even though my room was right next to a busy street and a local bus station, I barely heard anything. The windows were double paned in the bedroom. The views from the terrace were out of this world. Highly recommend.

Pros: This is a lovely converted private residence near the heart of SMA. Close to the main plaza, shopping and dining. Our room was spacious and simply elegant. The domed ceiling provided a well lit and airy atmosphere. The rooftop views are spectacular. Breakfast was simple but adequate, yogurt, fruit and fresh baked bread along with a selection of Nescafe coffees and teas. They have an honor bar on the roof that provided a very private retreat to enjoy the evening sunset. The small staff was attentive yet unobtrusive. Only 8 rooms available, if your looking for a private get away at a reasonable price this is it!

Pros: Beautiful property! and the staff is really friendly. Good service overall. The eggs at breakfast were superb! The garden is spectacular! as well as the terrace and view from the roof.

Pros: It was like home to home trip. Staff makes the difference as they make you feel comfortable and help you with everything. I travelled with my parents and they were very kind with them. I love the breakfast !!!
