Nice location in SF, room where quite big compared to the standard Comfortable bathroom which was ver clean
Expensive as everything in SF The room window is facing a wall so do not expect much of a view
Position was just PERFECT! The room has all thé possibile essentials needed and It is really cute!! Service room was adorable as well!
The only less perfect thing was that It was quite noise in the night andcthe early Morning but you cannot expect différent in such a central location!
Hotel is right in the middle of Union Square. Lots of places to explore within walking distance.
Parking was a nightmare. Hotel didn't have provided parking or parking discounts for nearby garages. Took more effort than necessary to actually get into the building (front doors were locked and bell didn't work). Key card wasn't correctly activated so we had to go back to the front desk to have it fixed (from 6th floor). Breakfast vouchers provided for inconvenience. No towels were provided. When contacting the front desk they explained that there was an issue with their washer that afternoon and said that we could pick up towels from front desk (again... we're on the 6th floor). It's pretty ridiculous that we had to pick up the towels that should've already been available in the room. They did not offer to bring them up either.
Fab location. Very helpful staff.
Location is good, price is reasonable
There’s no air conditioner in the room.
Looking for a hip, laid back hotel right in the middle of everything San Francisco has to offer? The Bartlett Hotel and Guesthouse offers the best experience in the city. Low-cost travelers, solo travelers, and small groups are better accommodated here rather than families.
Located on O’Farrell Street The Bartlett is amid the shops and restaurants of busy Union Square, and a short walk to Powell Street Station/Cable Car Station. A 10-minute walk from the hotel leads guest to Chinatown and Moscone Center, while a 15-to20-minute walk leads to SFMOMA, North Beach, and SF Ferry Building.
Bartlett Hall on-site at the hotel captures the essence of San Francisco in the form of food, drink and good times. The restaurant is a unique facility like no other in the area that attracts visitors and locals alike to enjoy house-brewed beers, barrel-aged cocktails, and uniquely crafted bites from lunch to late night.
Accommodations range from Bartlett Queen Standard to bunk beds, quads, economy queens and economy bunks. The Bartlett Bunks is recently renovated to feature two bunk bed and a private bath and is ideal for low-cost travelers. The Bartlett Quad is ideal for groups of three or four with four bunk beds and a private bath. All rooms feature the same standard amenities such as minifridges, flat-screen TVs and ceiling fans, the only difference is the space and the fact that economy rooms share a hallway bathroom.
