Saint-Malo hotels near Grand Aquarium de Saint-Malo

Pros: Very modern, spotlessly clean, and with room and bathroom finished to very high standards. The hotel is a stone's throw away from the sandy beach promenade and our room had a good sea view. The breakfast was also very good (ours included in price) ...

Pros: Everything was fantastic! The small but lovely hotel was so comfortable and clean, well designed, well cared. The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. The ocean view was great from our bedroom. It was so quiet at night that we could sleep very well with the sound of sea. The beautiful view of stars from the balcony was unforgettable! The breakfast was simple, but very delicious. We enjoyed their crispy baguette every morning. It was so nice hotel that we finally extended our stay. Love to come back there again in near the future...

Pros: Very friendly and efficient staff, comfortable room, good location in quiet part of city (but some distance from the centre, about 2 miles along the sea front)

Pros: We had a very pleasant 4 day stay in September at this hotel. The hotel is situated in a very nice and calm area. The owner & staff were all very friendly and helpful. The fact that the hotel has no restaurant of its own is absolutely no problem. There are quite a few restaurants in the very near vicinity, approximately 5 – 10 minutes by car. The owner gave us upon arrival a comprehensive pack with all kinds of restaurants and map. If you like seafood you must try Brasserie du Silon, excellent and a very nice ambiance and service indeed (was recommended by the owner) The hotel does serve breakfast and also has a nice bar. Rooms were clean and well taken care off. Finding parking space during the day and in the evening was no problem. The hotel has it own private space, and in the street in front there was always place available (at least when we were there). We initially were looking for a hotel inside the old town, being in St Malo for the first time, but were ever so happy that we diverted to La Villefromoy – excellent choice!

Pros: The Villefromoy is a very well presented small hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities excellent, especially the bar area which was welcoming and thoughtfully decorated.

Pros: Modern boutique styling within gorgeous french building - just a minute from the sea...great. Not publicised but a bonus for all returning home or stopping on the way to their main destination a secure carpark. PS Tortoise in the garden great for the little ones.

Pros: While the hotel is beachfront, the arrival is on a fairly busy road with cars parked. The owner very kindly moved his car so that we might park, and we left our car in place for the duration of our stay (an easy walk into the town centre). Hotel very quiet at night, no city noise. Beautiful views over the sea and a 10-second walk onto to the beach. Our room had a bay window, and a terrace, and was most pleasant to sit and enjoy the views (sun in the morning, sun in the afternoon and evening; fabulous sunsets). We had upgraded to a room that had a larger bed, and this was very comfortable, even though it reduced the space in the room.

Pros: The hotel was good. I was staying in "family room". Honestly speaking it is reworked garage. The WC and bathroom are on different levels. You have to walk a distance to clean hands after the WC. My daughter is very sencitive to dust ( dust allegry) she was caughing in the night. All the rest was nice. Good location, good breakfast. Less price for kids breakfast.

Pros: Great location, very helpful owners and staff, very personal service - a terrific experience all around! I was late booking and so was on the street side - but I didn't go to spend time in my room! I'll definitely book ahead next time and be on the beach side. Great closet space and well equipped bath.

Pros: It is a small friendly hotel with beautiful views of the sea and direct access to the promenade. It is in an excellent location - 10 minutes walk along the seafront to the old city of St Malo. We would definitely stay there again.

Pros: Excellent location on the sea front (great sea views from rooms), just 10 mins walk into the old town with many bars and restuarants. Public parking very close by on the sea front or the road outside, but very busy & in demand when we arrived on a sunny saturday afternoon.
