Pros: Christina and Guilio were very warm and welcoming especially at breakfast which always included some of Christina’s delightful creations. Their house is located in a lovely neighbourhood. The hosts were very helpful and attentive to our needs with suggestions of places to go and how to get there. They went out of their way to help resolve our lost luggage problems given our minimal ability to speak French.

Pros: This is a beautiful B&B, full of interesting books and artwork. The family who run it are delightful, friendly, charming and most helpful, and I mustn't forget Arturo, the little guardian of la Maison. The breakfast was a mix of French and Italian traditional fare, and the evening meal, a delicious 3 courses of home cooked Italian dishes was excellent value for money. The room was light and airy, and the bathroom very clean and modern. I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough and I will definitely return.

Pros: Everything was wonderful! Cristina and Giulio were the sweetest hosts. Our room, the food, and the company was more than we could ask for. :) My boyfriend and I ended up getting engaged while staying at Maison Angelus and it felt like we were celebrating with family. Thank you for making our big day so special in your home!

Pros: Our hosts, Cristina and Guilio, are warm, kind, and hospitable and share a passion to operate a truly outstanding bed and breakfast. The homemade, gourmet breakfast served in a beautiful room overlooking the garden, was delicious and a great time to get to know our hosts. They are extremely knowledgeable about the region and we followed all their advice, experiencing the culture of Brittany. Our room had everything anyone could need. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom, beautifully designed. I hope we’re able to return someday to spend more time.

Pros: B&B Maison Angélus turned out to be a wonderful find! A beautiful home filled with art and photography, located just off the beach and about a 15 minute walk to the old city. Cristina and Giulio were fabulous hosts, and the breakfasts were amazing. If you have a chance to eat dinner at B&B Maison Angélus, do! They offer a daily Italian dinner and a daily seafood dinner, both beyond delicious.

Pros: This was a delightful and quirky B&B with exceptionally friendly and helpful hosts. Christina is a marvellous Italian cook, so our breakfasts featured her homemade cakes and preserves. We also booked for an Italian dinner one evening and were delighted with the meal. (One day we’d love to return for Christina’s Italian cooking classes!!) Thanks Gulio for sharing your special frozen limoncello — it was a treat. The hospitality was wonderful and we all felt like we were staying with family friends. We even loved the dog! The B&B is situated one block from the gorgeous beach, and is an easy 15/20minute walk along the boardwalk (or beach) into St Malo historic center. Free on-street parking is usually available.

Pros: Breakfast. Family.
Cons: Charming french family, but visit marred as we spent 2 hours finding the property. They MUST put a sign on the gates to the driveway and sign on the house itself. There is a hotel of the same name almost next door but they did not explain the chambe dote was right next door until our third attempt to find it. We could not speak enough french and the owners could not explain in english so an upsetting 2 hours and a long call to you as well. However all well finally.

Cons: The hotel was shabby, the facilities none existent, the shower enclosure dangerous and the breakfast utterly appalling. 2 croissant (1 black) no more to bake apparently. No fruit, no yogurt, nothing ! Coffee dreadful. Had to go and buy breakfast on route. Would not recommend

Cons: We were on the third floor too many steps. The setting was nice but 10 minutes to 15 minutes outside of St.Malo. The water pressure in shower was week. Very slow internet could not use my computer only my phone with 3G. The GPS had a hard time locating property because La Reve was not in booking, spent over an hour looking for it.

Cons: There was no hot water for the shower, entrance and staircase was tatty. The double bed was just two singles put together. There was no coffee or toast for breakfast, cereal was available but no bowls provided and hosts were no where to be seen to ask .Parking was not ideal as asked to move away from building just because we arrived on a motorcycle

Cons: Turned up at 5 as you can not book in till 6pm, even though they are there and live there owner said on the phone we could not get in as he works till 6pm got there and sat on the step in the sun with all our luggage on motorbikes for an house , he even walked past and said hello but did not tell us he was the owner . And a wedding there so people leaving and beeping horns at 5am. The garden is lovely but its private we could not go in it as the door is locked.
