Pros: An astonishing Hotel on the mountain with an exceptional view. The structure offers a beautiful spa with view on the landscape, the room was very confortable and clean. The staff was very kind. Absolutely recommended for peace and relax.
Pros: The location is wonderful, superb views of the mountains and well connected with the train to nearby villages and to the funicular to Bolzano. Nice walking trails very near and dog / baby. Our room was fully new and everything clean, the balcony with beautiful view and they provided us with a fridge and baby cot as we needed them for the food and sleep of the little one. Breakfast has plenty of variety, croissants and pastries were sooooo good, there was always freshly cooked scrambled eggs or sunny side eggs. Many juices to choose, coffee machine and water boiler to prepare your own beverages. Dinner was also very good, freshly cooked and with good choice. The hotel is not very big, therefore there are not many guests and you can stay very relaxed and quiet, and enjoy the lovely swimming pool sometimes alone. I would come back and recommend it to friends.
Cons: The bed and pillows were for me a bit hard. Also the quilts were quite thick for the season we were in, we always had to take the cover off and use it as a sheet.
Located in Renon, Villa Anina is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of Isarco Valley and Earth Pyramids of Ritten. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Appt spotless. Even had breakfast with her own jam, fresh baked goods and eggs straight from her own chickens. I feel like i made a friend.
Cons: There is nothing to fault. It is as advertised. Hostess was charming and helpful.
Pros: 1) Felt at home from the first moment 2) Very comfortable and modern 3) Nicola ,host, is great person and was very interesting to chat with her 4) We like a lot the surrounding including small "farm" with rabbits ,ducks, hens ... 5) You have weekly tickets to go by train in the area (which is very beautiful ) and also get down to Bozen/Bolzano 6) Great breakfast - advisable
Cons: WiFi was not working properly , didn't try to resolve it with host, cause I had other solution
Pros: The pool is fabulous during hot summer days!

The property also has free outdoor parking and a pine wooden lounge with a typical wood-burning stove and books in German and in Italian for all age ranges.
Pros: everything. There was nothing to complain about and much to praise. The atmosphere was always relaxed but efficient, the food was superb, the breakfast had high quality, unlike so many other hotels. A wonderful family Hotel/Restaurant which is a credit and an example to Soprabolzano.
Pros: Wonderful place to stay. They arrived at the hotel by car (located about 1100 meters above sea level), and reached the city by funicular. At the hotel we received a day pass for all vehicles. To the funicular you need to take the train number 161 (Attention YOUR train will arrive on the right side !!!! The train is not signed !!!!) So, first the train, then the funicular and you are in the city. Loved the room, clean and bright. Exceptionally comfortable pillows and mattresses of moderate hardness, it was a pleasure to sleep. pretty big parking
Cons: I didn’t really like breakfast, but this is probably because we arrived half an hour before breakfast.
Pros: The one person room was big, very clean and looked good. There was public transport closeby to get yourself into famous Dolomites within one hour or an epic panorama view of the whole region. Its good to be within a short distance of a big city but far enough to enjoy the rest in the night. The staff was friendly and helpfull.
Cons: Actually no bad things at all.
Pros: The family who run the hotel are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the food in the restaurant delicious. The breakfasts are also excellent, with a good range of options, and tasty homemade jam and honey. The location is very convenient for the train, and the Rittencard which is included makes it very easy to explore the local area.
Pros: Rooms very modern (looks like renovated not too long ago), with balcony. Great location/views, near local train stop and parking in front also. Very friendly staff. Good food (evening/breakfast).
Pros: The whole place was sparkling clean. Absolutely lovely and helpful owners/staff. Fantastic location.
Pros: This little family hotel, in a beautiful location, was fantastic! Great value for money and such great staff!
Pros: Very clean, cozy and comfortable hotel. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is standard/simple but fresh and tasty. Dinner was also enjoyable. 20 min walk to the cable car that goes down to Bolzano. Tickets provided by hotel for free.
Cons: We liked everything but the only area for further development is the information stand, it needs to have give-away maps for hiking and Bolzano.
Pros: Surrounded by nature Renovated Nice and clean
Cons: Sometimes the smell from the kitchen cooked goods was smelling all over the hotel. But not disturbing.
Pros: very clean room comfortable bed excellent breakfast friendly staff most of the sights in Soprabolzano are within walking distance, while a tram stop is next to the hotel as well
Cons: No fridges in the rooms The view from the rooms is not the best you may expect in the region! (famous Dolomites peaks e.g. Latemar, Sciliar, Marmolada,... are not visible from the hotel's location)
Located in Renon, Hotel Weihrerhof is on a lake, a 1-minute drive from Isarco Valley and 8 minutes from Earth Pyramids of Ritten. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The hotel is extraordinary - not only in the comfort, location and design, but in the relaxed, contemplative 'feel' it radiates, attention to detail and the 'family' atmosphere. The food (we had half board) is exquisite. The restaurant deserves a Michelin star. Service impeccable, non intrusive but intimate. I wish I had more time to enjoy the facilities, the garden and the spa. Parking provided free of charge, also mountain bikes and cable car card.
Cons: The shower could be improved, the water did not run smoothly in our room, even after the intervention. The price is excessive, I wish it was more affordable, at least with occasional with offers etc. A shuttle to the cable car would be nice, there is a train, but not that convenient. Hotel car on demand could drive guests to and from the cable car.

Cons: The pool and hottub were closed.
Pros: What we impressed the most is the hospitality of the owner and all hotel staff. Barbara and her family; Sepp and Rosalinde, have been a wonderful host to our stay at the hotel. The view from our room is stunning and all the hotel's facilities are beyond our expectations. You must try Tiramisu served at the hotel. It is the best we have ever had. Putting all the pleasant experience at the hotel aside, we're also very pleased and thankful that Barbara has helped us getting a new car from Avis after our car had a flat tire. Thank you so much for your help.
Cons: Nothing at all. Everything is perfect.
Pros: The views were breathtaking. Breakfast was amazing. Family feel. Will definitely return.
Pros: The staff and the sitting area outside.
Cons: There is no kattel, the way to it is difficult and the balcony wasn't good enough.
Cons: The room was not at all like the picture on your and their website. Why are single rooms so outdated and simpel in this hotel? no colour, uncomfortable bed, poor lighting in bath room Staff was not very helpful or smiling either.

Pros: The very warm welcome. The design of the hotel with the honey theme. The room was quite big and very comfortable, also big bathroom. Nice breakfast with very delicious bread with nuts and raisin. The Ritten Card was inclusive, it was practical to go to Bolzano with the cable car. It was also possible to the take the 100 year wooden train to Klobenstein. From here there are a lot of possibilities to explore the area.
Cons: The price was quite high. But it was still okay because the Ritten Card was inclusive.

Pros: Friendly. Easy parking. Good food.
Cons: Not an easy drive from Kastelrotto. But it was a fun experience.
Pros: Nice hotel, in a very small town, in the middle of the mountains. The host is very welcoming
Pros: Stunning view from our room. The staff was very friendly and made efforts to find us when we missed the last bus back to the village one night. The bus was just a minute's walk away. Breakfasts were sensational - a great way to start the day! Even their Weiss Bier was one of the tastiest on our Italian trip.
Cons: We can think of nothing...just that we didn't have more time to spend there.
Pros: The family who run this hotel really make you feel at home. The rooms are large with lovely balconies. The showers are great and food is delicious with a plentiful breakfast selection. The terrace at the rear of the property is also great for relaxing after dinner with a drink and looking at the mountains. The underground Carpark is also excellent and the hotel provided us with a free transport card for our stay which allows you to travel on the bus which stops right outside the hotel and also the cable cars and trains in the area.
Pros: The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The food was very good.
Cons: Not a thing!
Pros: Super place, wish to stay more
Pros: Secondly, Google Earth will place you opposite the Fire Station. The actual Hotel is round the corner further up the hill, away from the village Church. Maybe 12 rooms it's as neat and tidy as you'd hope for. The very active "plateau" tourist association notes that the population of the said plateau is 95% German(ic), 4.5% Italian, and 0.5% of a flag that I still don't recognise. We both love this part of Italy/Europe, and the Hotel's rear outdoor area faces towards some of the best scenery. Your next day's tour might cross the valley, head towards Castellrotto/Kastelruth, east even as far as Cortino D'Ampezzo, then north. Some of the most spectacular scenery the Italian Tirol can offer. And you'll be back to this Hotel either that evening, or sometime in the future.

Pros: In May there are very few visitors in the area. Just perfect from relaxing in the wellness, taking the bus for the hiking tours. Amazing place an surroundings.
Cons: The two beds together was very uncomfortable. There should be a King size bed or bigger bed.
Pros: Lovely Hotel in a nice quiet area, staff very friendly
Cons: very limited menu at the restaurant was disappointing
Pros: The ice rink was very close, the food was amazing and our waiter did an excellent job communicating with us
Cons: The heat in our room was a little difficult to control the temperature

Pros: A well furnished bedroom with a balcony with a beautiful view. Very good food and a nice choice of local wines. A very pleasant man and wife look after the hotel. The free travel pass is a bonus.
Cons: There was nothing not to like.
Pros: Family run hotel for several generations. Every detail thought of for guests satisfaction. Bedrooms comfortable an bathrooms immaculate. Food of a very high standard and varied. Ideal spot if you enjoy walking or mountain viewing
Cons: Exciting climb up tortuous road from Bolzano but that would not stop a return visit.

Cons: English is not as good as it could have been but every effort was made to accommodate. German and Italian - no problem. Would have loved to have had more time here.

Pros: The breakfast was good. They cooked a really great omlette. Could sit out on the veranda ... great view. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice Sauna. Very quiet.

Cons: The internet is not good. There is no laundry facility in the room (there is one in basement)...so not perfect for long stay.
Pros: Amazing view. Very clean.
Cons: Not easy for find the location. I needed to ask somebody to guide us.
Pros: We stayed for two days and met three generations of the hosts, who are very friendly and warm, provides good service. The facilities are complete and we even cooked our own meals, which was great! The room is neat and tidy. In the valley, the environment is beautiful. When I stand on the balcony, I can look over the distant mountains.
Pros: The location was cool on the top of a big hill. The room was very spacious good for four people, and the facilities to cook were ample to cook some good meals. The sofa bed and bed were comfortable.
Cons: The location was a bit far from the more popular dolomites hikes. And the apartments are on the top of a hill that takes about 20 minutes to climb by car. Makes grocery shopping a little bit difficult.
Pros: View and parking on spot
Cons: Wifi did not work. Sofa ripped. No mobile reception. No toiletries and coffeemaker with no coffee/tea in kitchen and no kettle. The restaurant not so good and menu you can't understand.
Pros: Perfect place to stay next door to Dolomiti, quiet and confortable.... a very mice small apartment for 4...
Cons: Nothing. ...
Cons: Very small and I’ll equipped kitchen. Not able to cook a meal.
Pros: Only issue was it was warm in the apt at night. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
Cons: See above.
Pros: We were group of 6 and two connected apartments were perfect. Great outdoor space to hang out. We were with a dog and there was not an issue.
Cons: Restaurant in the hotel that has the same owner is rather weak. Also the breakfast in the hotel that is offered is a no go.
Pros: Location and scenery
Cons: The check in desk is confusing to find. We had to ask a neighbor. Not all countries or even cities conform to even numbered houses on one side of the street and odd on the other. In addition the gps directions took us to a totally different town

Pros: Amazing view from the room and great breakfast.
Pros: The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere but very closed to Bolzano. So driving was not hard here. The view from room absolutely amazing and relaxing. You can just sit in terrase and enjoy sounds of nature. The breakfast is home-made, tasty enough!
Cons: The heating system was not working during our stay, so we were unable to get warm towels... this is season limitation.
Pros: Sightseeings from the balcony were the best of the host, and breakfast was really really nice. Family is really cute and their dog happy is fantastic!
Cons: Road to arrive is a bit complicated but sightseeings worth it. We missed some soap in the bathroom.
Pros: Great view from Balcony. Amazing breakfast. Beautiful farm. I would stay here again.
Pros: Upon arrival, the big girl greeted me and she was very polite, courteous and professional. I expected her to have a great deal in the corporate departments and a good future for her dealings and fun. Location: fabulous with views and distance from the bustle of life and the city and the traffic of some villages. The hostel is situated on a high hill, giving you a chance to experience the pure air and enjoy the view of nature and mountains and valley by great view from Balcony. Parking is available and there is a nearby village to buy necessities. Stuff: friendly and their welcome are excellent and give a hand to any inquiry or request in full. Cons: No fridge in the room.
Pros: Clean, quiet, friendly, good breakfast
Cons: Hard to find. Advice: keep going up the road.
Pros: View from the balcony was incredible. Breakfast was delicious. We were looking for an isolated place to stay which is also close to the highways and touristic routes. That's why location was very good for us. It was 20-25 minutes of driving to the main roads. The family who runs the farmhouse is very warm and helpful. Although we do not speak neither German nor Italian, we communicated somehow :)
Cons: Hairdryers in the rooms would be a great.
Pros: We had wonderful time there. Owners were very helpful and open to help us make food.

Pros: The staff/hosts were amazing and went above and beyond several times to make our stay enjoyable.
Cons: Our mattress was a bit too soft.
Pros: The atmosphere was really nice and calm. Very family friendly!
Cons: The room got wayyy to hot and not enough air circulation... so maybe an aircon or at least a fan. ☺️

You can reach the Val Gardena, San Floriano and Plose ski slopes within 20 minutes by car. A cycling track runs just past the property.
Pros: Thank you Judith for being so nice !!
Pros: Everything was fine. Clean and nice apartment. Very helpful and friendly personel.
Pros: Spacious room, comfortable bed, nice staff.
Cons: The hotel does not offer Wi-Fi, which is the only one pitty point I can think about.
Cons: Room overpriced
Pros: Very friendly and kind hosts. Excellent pizzas, very good house wine. We were very happy staying there. Would come again.
Pros: Good Beer and food
Cons: All good
Pros: The host of the hotel was really nice and interested in us. Also location was good - easy to reach and with nice view out of the window. Housemade pizza tasted good in hotel’s restaurant. Good hotel for one night stay during the travel.
Cons: Absence of wifi as such together with very poor mobile network made it difficult to plan for the next steps of the trip. This hotel is suitable for people who do not have any need for reaching out to the internet. One more thing that could be improved - our double bed was in fact to single beds put together with 2 separate mattresses, that made hard to sleep due to empty space in between them.
Pros: The host Judith knows how to welcome guests. It is situated in a quiet and peaceful area, ideal for those who enjoy nature, cycling and walking. Calm atmosphere. Clean room. Good restaurant and breakfast ok.
Cons: It is far from the center of Bolzno, which is complicated for those who do not have their own transport. The bus stop is close to the hotel, but for those who travel by public transport is tricky, as the journey lasts about 25m and the last bus is at 20.30h. An advice: you must tell the driver you want to stop in 'campodazzo steg' otherwise he will stop in 'Campodazzo' which is 3 kms far away . We had to do it on foot and it was an experience not to repeat...
Pros: I like that it was on our way to Bolzano. There was a dog in their restaurant at the entrance... the dog was very cute and friendly. I like the staff. They were very nice.
Cons: There was no wifi!!! The bathroom was very small. There was no shampoo. Very few places that we stayed at had shampoo or hair conditioner. No body wash. At most we found a bit of soap in our bathtub/shower. I guess this place had some soap in the shower. I think it that the price was too much for what we got.
Pros: Breakfast was marginal. Rooms were clean and just ok
Cons: Right on a busy highway and the staff was not exactly cheery.
With a stay at RESIDENCE AM KAISERWEG in Renon, you'll be 1.2 mi (1.9 km) from Earth Pyramids of Ritten and 12 mi (19.3 km) from Renon Cable Car. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great view from the window.
Cons: You have to check in and check out and pick up your keys on another place.
Pros: The staff were helpful and shower pressure was great.
Cons: Didn’t like the location, it was above a cafe / pub with poky machines. Our first room (until we got a room change) smelled like smoke. To get the key to have to go to another hotel and ditto with laundry tokens. Lovely staff but wouldn’t recommend.
Pros: We stayed only overnight in the place. We came late, but with clear instructions didn't have any problem to find the place.
Cons: Unfortunately couldn't stay long
Pros: It was a fantastic location with awesome views and a restaurant and a pub downstairs.
Pros: Fine position on the local road, private open-air parking and underground parking, large appartment in a wooden traditional house, on two floors (bedroom is upstairs) with all facilities (bath, kitchen and a balcony with a superb view), very close to the Earth pyramids, good restaurant two kilometers away (Gasthof Spogler), Check-in and check-out has to be done at that restaurant (same owner).
Cons: During the evening it was a little difficult to spot the entrance, which is by the underground garage, hidden if you stay in the front of the house....
Pros: The views from our room and terrace we're fabulous! We could see the Earth Pyramids from our room! Rudy was especially accommodating...wish he had been around for the whole time we were there.
Cons: The outside door handle to the terrace was missing, so we were not able to close door good, which allowed flies to get in the room.
Pros: Cozy, clean, view of the earth pyramids from the room, big bath in the room, can sleep a bunch of people.
Cons: The check-in is located in a different building about 2km away. This wasn’t really an issue but it may be for others. The bar that is downstairs smells of cigarettes which floats upstairs-it wasn’t unbearable but it was noticeable.
Pros: Nice apartment, nice location
Cons: Navigation couldn't find given address. Hotel and reception to collect and return key are 2km away from each other.
Pros: Location and the staff were amazing.
Pros: The view is amazing. And it’s not far from Bozen (25min) and Bressanone (45min).
Cons: Building is old but ok. View is really awesome. But...We stayed in apartment 23 and there was dog hair everywhere - even on the sheets, sofa etc. Plus the apartment smelled like sewer. Got better after leaving the windows open and we didn’t stay for long and didn’t spend time inside. But would definitely not recommend and also not stay again. Even though I assume the other apartments wouldn’t be like this.
