10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is beautiful inside and is well located for exploration. Our room was huge, the breakfast was good and the staff vey professional and caring. The hotel recommendations for restaurants were also excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The attention, personally and to every detail. The room was very clean and comfortable and additionally every detail is taken care of like decorations and extra features. They also take care of other guests asking you to not make too much noise while they sleep. The location was also great, we could go to all the important places by feet. To be honest I didn't expect too much but it exceeded my expectations. I would definitely come back again.
Cons: Nothing! Everything was perfect, I wish we stayed longer
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing

Pros: The accommodation was clean. Double and a bunk in the one room. Staff assisted by having our breakfast ready ealy as we were going on a tour the next day

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was excellent and very welcoming. Room is spacious, super clean and warm. Superb location. Breakfast was super delicious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly people. Willing to help with anything.
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location just outside the Medina is quiet and has a parking just in front of the Riad. It is walking distance from the Medina and sea promenade. Good breakfast with cooked eggs and cheese in addition to the standard riad breakfast. Chaymae at the reception was particularly helpful, friendly and very active with checkin, checkout, payment, breakfast basically doing everything. Nice large roof terrace. It was clean and had heating/aircon in the room. Very good price quality ratio with approx 60 euro per room was one of the best riads we had during a 15 day trip througout Morocco.
Cons: Nothing really.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was easy to find from the train station. The breakfast was magnificent, even by the high expectations of the traveler accustomed to a great Moroccan breakfast. Plenty of hot water and plenty of pillows on comfortable bed! Kind staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our best stay in Morocco
Cons: Nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: Modern Clean Spacious
Cons: Location is really horrible The floor feels so dirty even though the room was sparkling clean Our room was on the ground floor - directly as you enter into the riad. Practical yes but was just a little uncomforting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hamza is a great and kind host, best stay in Rabat!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was very good as we only had a short stay at the riad and so easy to find everything that was nearby. Thanks to Abdul who provided a breakfast bag as we had an early start to Casablanca airport for our flight home.

Pros: Very clean!
Cons: The toilet is not in a closed room.
Dar Mayssane - Rabat - Outdoor view
3
9.2 Excellent (512 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Dar Mayssane in Rabat, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Hassan Tower and Royal Palace. Featured amenities include express check-in, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request).
7.5 Good
Pros: Nicely decorated big room and the riad in general. Rooftop. Good location right in the medina. Staff always polite. Good coffee
Cons: Host does not speak english, was quite difficult to talk to her. Breakfast is typical moroccan with sweets only (jam, fruits, honey, yoghurt), but this it’s just a matter of taste. Price was higher for new year’s eve, but no special event was organized. Bad value for money (~110 eur/night) judging by european standards (tiles on the floor were moving, not enough hot water, the tap was sprinkling, dirty walls etc)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice, with tiles and wood, and a nice bathroom upstairs. No TV – great! A properly traditional riad. And a warm welcome.
Cons: It's not acceptable that a place advertised on an international webiste (a) is on a street unknown to taxi drivers (travellers should be told how to get there!), (b) is not marked by any sign at all, and (c) does not take credit cards. I was also not happy to order breakfast for 7:30 the first morning, only to discover that no one was around for another half an hour.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect! Recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the place was great, the breakfast was homemade and very delicious, it was also very clean and stylish, but most of all - the staff (especially Fatima) was so so nice and helpful, we liked it a lot! :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A peaceful stay in the heart of the Medina. Beautiful room, stunning terrace view, delicious food.
Cons: We would have preferred not to leave payment to the very last minute
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice stay
Cons: Only problem it took a little while to get into the property. The host was upstairs and didn’t hear us at the door
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing host, great location with parking possibilities just a couple of meters away from the riad. The interior is very unique and stunning. We really enjoyed our stay, were well rested in this oasis and had a very delicious breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location with a 10-minute walk to the Kasbah, 20-minute walk to the train station and lots of food choices in the nearby market that’s literally a 2-3 minute walk away from Dar Maysanne. What we especially appreciated was the all-female staff who were generous, sweet and made us feel at home. Their breakfast was a perfect amount with a good variety of breads, jams, butter, cheese, choice of coffee or mint tea, fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, incredibly delicious yogurt and granola (which they make themselves) and you can always ask for eggs your way. They did pick us up from the train station and although you’ll pay about 10Euros (100 Dirhams), it might be worth it as the Dar is a bit tucked behind Avenue Laalou and not all taxi drivers may know where to go (unless you show them the map and can guide them a bit). But a regular taxi (Rabat has blue taxis) from the train station should cost you 10-20 Dirhams. They have three-four levels of terraces and patios (watch out for one or two steep steps) that are great for hanging out including a covered area with a TV and movies. Beer and wine are not always available so you may have to request it ahead of time. The place was clean overall, rooms were equipped with space heaters and were nicely decorated and furnished (stayed in the Junior Suite named L’Amante) and so happy we chose this Dar in Rabat!
Cons: Only accepts cash (Euros or Dirhams) or money transfers, no credit cards.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow, This room was really more than I expected. Staff was very nice and really friendly. Breakfast was delicious.... I think it's the most beautiful place I've ever been.
Cons: -

Cons: We had a tub in our bathroom, but there was not enough hot water for a full tub..
9.6 Excellent
Pros: An excellent riad on the edge of the old medina. The design is very nice and cosy. The rooms were clean. They have an elevator which is rare for an old riad. The staff were super friendly and very helpful in every way especially Rasheed.

Pros: The Ryad is beautiful and the room we stayed in was comfortable and cosy. The staff were really helpful and friendly. They recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner. Parking the car was easy, just in front of the hotel. We had reserved in advance. The breakfast was good too. Thanks!!!
Cons: Unluckily, we didn’t have towels until 19:00 because there had been a problem with the company that provides them. However, this was not a problem for us as we decided to have a drink while we waited in one of their lounges, which was an excellent experience due to the wonderful ambiance.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: This little jewel was located right in the heart of the Rabat Madina. Full of character and what topped it off was the superb hospitality of the owner and staff. Worth every penny!
Cons: Nothing - it was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality was excellent - all our queries were promptly answered and we were given tips as to how to get around the city. Breakfast was great and I was glad to have to been able to meet Florent, who was really friendly. The room (we booked a suite) was really spacious and cosy. The terrace and courtyard was really gorgeous and peaceful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The riad was absolutely stunning. The room was large and spacious and the terrace was vibrant and a beautiful space to enjoy the sun on. Breakfast was delicious and we had the chance to meet the owner who told us a little about the house as we ate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner and staff were incredibly nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The riad and the staff were great in a very beautiful part of town!
5.0 Okay
Pros: The room has a nice size and the staff is lovely.
Cons: The Riad is a small one, with 7 rooms. We had a suite for 3 (my parents and me) at the 2nd floor. The room was was quite humid, dark and dusty (my dad and I had serious alergies). The bathroom doesn't has strong water pressure and the hot water wasn't enough for 3 baths in a row. The Riad lacks a charming place during winter for you to chill and read a book, since the cushions in the terrace are often humid. I ordered a chicken pizza for dinner with my dad and was ill during the night. The price asked doesn't reflect the service offered.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and very quiet
Cons: Dark rooms Can use more lighting

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, the decoration…
Cons: The pretty terrace is unfortunately only of limited use: in the mornings and evenings the cushions are wet because of the high humidity. breakfast is disturbed by a gigantic plague of wasps. Wifi with big breaks.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Above and beyond service with well thought out touches, eg closing and soundproofing the windows before we retired. A welcome plate of cakes and fruit and fantastic local knowledge. The owner even gave me a frozen bag a couscous to put on a swollen ankle ! The room was spacious and tastefully decorated with lovely soft pillows. There was a the most beautiful roof terrace with many plants and places to sit and enjoy the weather
Cons: The amount of bees/wasps that were a round at breakfast time on the terrace
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you want to have the European standard service , The repose is the best choice. Besides that, each room is themed in a topic/character which offer an unforgettable staying experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host. Gorgeous character ready to provide advice and assistance to ensure you enjoy your total experience. An oasis in this ancient walled city. Beautiful riad. Totally recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast and dinner service. Staff and owners are extremely lovely people. It was really fantastic experience.
Cons: Location is quite strange for first time coming.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff at this place is amazing and always willing to serve. We had the dinner they offer, served on the terrace, which was wonderful. The rooms were comfortable with great decor and lots of added amenities.
Cons: The neighborhood can be confusing and easy to get lost in.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: There is not much that I like about this place. Really think it is overrated.
Cons: 1. Accessibility. There is no way to park close to the riad. First day it took us 1 hour extra to get there. The owner never told us in advance, there is no way to get there by car but only on foot. In a good weather day, it might be not a big deal, just pass through some dirty streets, but in a rainy day, it is very very very dirty to your shoes and suit case rolling on the floor. But watch out when you walk there in the night. Did not feel very safe. 2. Noisy. You can hear what is from the street, talks and motorbike even in the night, 24/7. As well as what is happening inside the riad. 3. Communication. Besides the owner who is not there mostly, it is very hard to communicate with the staff there.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The very warm welcome. Very informative and friendly host and staff. Everyone very polite and helpful. The terrace was gorgeous. The breakfast great and plentiful. The dinner was a little expensive but the service was premium. Thanks for everything.
Cons: Just that we could not pay with card due to a connection problem the day we left.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Repose was one of the best places I've stayed in Morocco. Jan and Rachid have done an amazing job with their renovations, and there is more to come! The terrace is absolutely lovely. Our room (the Chefchaouen suite) felt like Aladdin's Castle. The breakfast is huge and the coffee is good. Our vegetarian dinner was great, too. Massage and other treatments are available. The location is away from all the touristy stuff, tucked in the Sale Medina. Simply unique and wonderful!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great, the breakfast was amazing, the air-conditioning worked really well, the entire set up was fantastic. We even booked massages there that were great. Jan was such a fab host, showing us the map, walking us through things, and generally being hilarious and kind.
Cons: It really was a great place, I can't think of anything I didn't like, if you stay in the African suite, the only small recommendation I would make is to shut the bathroom window at night, we had it open the first night and it was quite noisy in the night and morning with mopeds and people, we shut it (and the bathroom door) on the second night and didn't hear anything, it was perfect.

Cons: Water of the swimming pool does not smell good otherwise all great!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and view
Cons: Its best place to stay in rabat.
7.4 Good
Pros: The staff is amazingly friendly - the Hotel is in a perfect location with a lovely garden The restaurants are excellent.
Cons: There is no communication between the different entities in Hotel. So things go wrong (like with us - we had to change rooms twice in a three night visit AND EVEN then we did not get what we asked for but we just gave up, It was either that or letting it ruin our vacation. We got a room with no shower - then we got one with a shower but with a flooded toiletfloor which could have killed as I slipped when entering during the night. Then room nr. 3 AGAIN had no shower and a Light that had the 200V on the metal so when you touched it you felt the current. The Hotel is a bit tired It used to be HILTON. It needs a makeover. As I said, we gave up but will not return as the staff just sail how sorry they were but never ever considered maybe making it up by offering a better room. We stayed it the same poor ailse of room 701-730. Dismal experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Overall is Excellent
Cons: Shower is really backdated, at least a shower head mount should be installed.

The View - Rabat - Building
10
8.9 Excellent (1,612 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The View Hotel Rabat:Set in Rabat, 1 km from Aswak Assalam Rabat, The View Hotel features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great 3 days visit to Rabat. Premium location just few minutes walk to Moroccan restaurant Zayaan & Starbucks. Also location close to Mahaj Riad ( shops, restaurants, cafes ..etc ). Special Thanks to Aisha who is excellent interpersonal skills and very welcoming to the guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location
Cons: To be honest none
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: None
6.0 Good
Pros: The most outstanding quality in this hotel is the staff. Everyone -- especially the lobby manager -- was extremely helpful and tried to be accommodating. The quality of the staff, however, could not overcome the other issues reflected below. But I have to say, the staff were very friendly, even if some of them could use some more training.
Cons: BEWARE if you get a room from Floors 2-7 as they are not as advertised. There is no air conditioning on these floors, and you will receive no coffee (only tea, not even instant coffee) and only one small bottle of water. In addition, the first night, a staff member tried to insist on entering to deliver an invitation to something, which turned out to be for another room. Towels were not replaced one day until I asked late in the day. The gym is very minimally equipped with no general free weights (only a couple of bars with loose weights) and the breakfast is outrageously expensive. Turn down service was also offered, but only late in the evening. At first, staff did not realize there was no air conditioning, so they tried to send a technician -- problem was they sent the person at 10 pm after I was asleep and whose ringing woke me up. In addition, although staff were overall quite wonderful and friendly, there were WAY too many security officers patrolling here and there in the hotel. You felt not so much as a guest but as a prisoner who was always being watched. They would try to operate the elevator for you, leading you to the impression they knew where you were going and where you were staying at all times. The hovered in the lobby and congregated everywhere. You did not feel you could even invite friends or colleagues to the hotel as they would be interrogated. There is a fine balance to security vs. privacy and this hotel does not understand the right balance. This hotel's staff tries hard, but the hotel itself is NOT at a 5-star standard. Be warned before you book here. You will pay a lot, but lower your expectations on the quality of what you will receive in return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was easy to reach and the staff was very hospitable
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Everything is good, except for the towels, they are very expendable

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The Riad is small and beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Cons: My only complaint is that it is a bit difficult to find. According to Google Maps, the two streets on either side of the hotel called Rue Joutia and Rue El Fassi are labeled, but the street that the hotel is on does not exist. We simply did not walk far enough to the little side streets where the hotel is.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good staff, nice Riad
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Riad is in the old Medina, pretty easy to find and very quite. The interior design is perfect, it's a very beautiful Riad.
Cons: We changed room (from a Suite to a lower level that cost half price) but the owner wanted us to pay the full price anyway (at the end they fortunately lowered it a bit). Since the Suite was always reserved she said this was a problem, but nobody asked us to cancel the reservation as soon as we changed room and to book the new one. It would have been nice to receive this kind of message and let us pay the real cost of our stay. The sensation we got at end of the stay was very bad, we felt scammed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating especially when we asked for a different menu for breakfast. The room was clean and the vintage decor was lovely.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It has been a pleasure to stay in this Riad.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely Riad with helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast was great (a mix of fruit and local pastries). It was a calming place in the middle of a busy Medina.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were welcomed by Doha and Sufran, two great people working at this Riad. They were very helpful and always ready to help you out with anything you needed! They made us feel at home! The breakfast is super delicious, the room was on the ground level in a beautiful, clean, peaceful riad in the centre of Rabat! We loved every second of our stay! Thanks for everything!
