This 17th century coaching house is set in the quaint village of Stilton. With a history dating back to the 1500s, it offers charming accommodation with a stylish restaurant, bistro and cosy bar. Built around the old courtyard, rooms at The Bell Inn Stilton are individually furnished and include Sky TV, free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with hairdryer. Cons: Dated appearance (really needs a spruce-up), no room fridge, joined beds uncomfortable compared to one, window doesn't open, sink waste plug was blocked, no recognition as a long standing Marriott customer. Conclusion: The Peterborough hotel is not up to general (world) Marriott standards.

Cons: I could not contact the hotel for the first day as no one answered the phone and I ended up having to stay in an other Hotel . It did not show up on the sat Nav and people who lived only 5 miles away did not know where it was either.Staff were unhelpful .
