Difficult to access hotel because of road system Bathroom lighting didn’t work Sink plug didn’t work
We have stayed here before on a couple of occasions and it was quite a cosy and friendly hotel so we were expecting this again. The only things on this visit we liked was fact that there is parking and the hotel is near the town centre in walking distance and the recent refurbishment of the reception and restaurant area was also good
We had booked a premium room this time but it was quite small and short of any premium type features. We were very concerned that there was just on old plastic hanger in the wardrobe, only one bedside light with a very dim bulb, we had to change the batteries in the remote control to make the TV work, there was just on small pack of complimentary biscuits and one very small shelf in the bathroom for toiletries and no other storage. Hardly premium level. Then at 12.30 the couple in the next room started to argus and this spilled into the corridor outside our room and it turned into a fight, the arguments continued to 2.00 and nothing was done about it. When we mentioned it in the morning a shrug of the shoulders and the comment we cant always be responsible for a guests behaviour!
Reception and waiting staff very friendly and professional.
Clean room, very spacious! Great staff and ambience with all necessary facilities. Price was very reasonable as well.
Everything was good, did not stay very long to fault.
The hotel is very tired and in a bad state! It was also very dirty.
