Pros: This is an amazing hotel. The rooms are beautiful, the welcome on arrival was first class service, the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel has several restaurants. We ate at 2 of them and they were great. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Cons: Check in a little confused with reception desk at the far end of the room. No obvious “bell boy” to tip on departure. Again a trifle confusing as to the collection and loading of luggage.

Pros: The hotel had a homely feel to it, without it feeling like home. The hotel is super funky and we loved the roof top terrace and the honesty bar. Great idea! I am a hairdresser and I have to say that shampoo and conditioner in the showers is one of the best products I’ve tried, so I actually bought some from downstairs. Loved our stay!

Cons: No parking and nearby parking is very expensive. Check in was slow. The room was tiny, but I'd expected that from reading other reviews. There was no bar fridge in which to put drinks or food. There was no kettle or other tea/coffee making facilities; if you wanted a cuppa, you had to go downstairs. The tv turned itself off every 15 minutes. The toilet cistern ran constantly. Every time someone else opened or closed their door, our own door rattled. The "light breakfast buffet" included in the price was very sparse. Upon checking out, the lady at the desk was disinterested and dismissive of me letting her know about the tv and toilet.

Pros: Whole building is designed great. Rooftop sitting area is perfection for a book and a glass of wine.

Cons: Just the noise through the night in the immediate surrounds (not the hotels fault) is very difficult to sleep through. To be fair, The Alex supply ear plugs I just chose not to use them.

Cons: The toilet in the room had no door and the room we paid for had no bath...we were told we had an upgrade and did not have a bath in the room?? I would not call that a upgrade!

Pros: Both our check-in and check-out experience was highly streamlined; fast and with no fuss whatsoever! Even to the point of being borderline magical at the reception desk! And the reception staff were extremely well-prepared, friendly, and exceptionally helpful! The restaurant food at breakfast time was simply amazing, and the wait-staff were very much on-the-ball and instantly responsive! And so were the cooks and barista! Their head breakfast chef on duty at the time was obviously a well-trained and compitant kitchen manager. Because all of the restaurant staff incorporating the maître d, waiters, chefs and barista were performing admirably as an organic unit with extremely high morale and professionalism! And that can only ever be the the result of a high standard of leadership with great direction and thorough preparation! The room itself (King Corner Suite) was absolutely fantastic! Albeit slightly darker than expected, it was truly beautiful regardless, because that is QT's unique flavour of accommodation on offer to their clientele! The dual shower recess and bathroom basins was a real hit with us!

Cons: Pillows: The bedroom pillows were far too tall, firm and puffy for a comfortable, unbroken night's sleep, although great for sitting up in bed while watching TV! I normally have no problem falling asleep in any other hotel we have stayed at in the past. But at QT Perth I ended up resorting to using a soft blanket from the closet as a pillow in order to fall asleep! They really ought to provide world-standardised pillows like Hilton, The Duxton, Sheraton, Hyatt, etc. do! Toiletries: My wife is a 'Chinese-national', and didn't think to pack her toothbrush for our recent stay at QT Perth, as all China hotels from the least to the very best, provide disposable toothbrushes and small tubes of toothpaste as a standard part of the toiletries kit on every stay! Instead we were provided with body lotion/moiisturiser (along with standard essential toiletries) that most women visiting any hotel would never entertain using due to bringing their own favourite, tried-and-true brand of cosmetics with them. So this simple but important matter needs some consideration and revising. Especially at an expensive hotel like QT Perth that would regularly be accommodating both international and affluent guests from many other parts of the world. Restaurant cuttlery: As previously stated, My wife is a 'Chinese-national', and struggles with using 'Western' cutlery while dining! Just as I struggle using chopsticks whenever I visit China with her! So, some chopsticks ought to be included as part of every table setting in all good hotels. As in this 'globally-poised' age of international travel, it should never be presumed by any 'high quality hotel' of Western cultural setting, that all of their guests will be exclusively of occidental origin! Pros: it was an amazing stay pity it was just one night, we loved the roof top bar where we enjoyed a drink with friends, the robes and towels in the bath room made me feel very luxurious. Double shower was amazing, bed OMG.

Cons: I thought the lighting in the room was too dark needed to find a brighter light to apply make up, very mood setting but not practical for women.

Pros: Great location, very central. Small room but not an issue due to ample lighting and large floor to ceiling window. Very tastefully decorated. Love the coffee machine and the very comfy bed.

Pros: Perfect for anyone visiting the convention center. One can walk directly to the center under cover. The hotel meals were over priced but there were many other choices around the corner. Shopping was not far away and the bus service was close by and free.

Cons: We had problems with the cold room but after two fixes the problem was solved. The bed is a small one that was a tight fit for us.

Unlimited free internet. Central location Taxi ramp is right in the front of the hotel. A lot of pubs, restaurants nearby.

Cons: Room was overpriced booked a king room for the obvious, bigger bed etc but the room was bloody noisy rubbish trucks at midnight early morning trucks as our room faced service entrance to other buildings my daughters room was a standard room paid a lot less and had a view of at least the pool said she didn’t here a thing we had noise just about all night so was not overly happy at all, the Coffee in the room was also cheap would have thought for the price it would have been better standards no point paying extra price for bigger room if you can’t sleep and the view is of tin roofs and back entrances
