You know you are in a hotel with class when the mini bar provides full bottles of wine. Great dinner in Wildflower and super breakfast in Post. Can’t recommend enough

Pros: I thought everything was superb in the hotel. Lovely entrance, very efficient and friendly check in / out, tasteful Christmas decorations, beautifully lit throughout, room exceptional, bathroom amenities right on point, shower superb and bed incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and we really enjoyed the atmosphere sitting outside in the courtyard taking a coffee. The pool and sun lounge area were fantastic too. A tremendous sense of well-being and calm descended as soon as we entered the hotel. Nathan deserves a mention for recommending a very good coffee shop to us in Perth and went above and beyond by helping us with our awkward luggage (two bicycle boxes and a load of bags). Thank you Sir!

Cons: Only a very minor issue but I awoke early because of jet lag, on the first morning of my stay. The breakfast place only opened at 07:00. This was really only a very slight inconvenience, however. The excellent coffee machine in the room was enough to tide us over and the breakfast was worth waiting for.

Cons: Having stayed previously, the in room dining menu has not changed much in 12 months. How about more variety. Still not a lot done about pool towels left all over the place. Surely someone could go and tidy up during the day, as many people do not put towels in the used bin area. Give the cleaners a door wedge to keep the door open. If you are in the room they keep slamming the door open and shut WiFi slow..

Cons: Our TV glitched several times and would then reload. One night after being out for dinner I was watching A Star is Born on TV and it happened again. It took a substantial amount of time to reboot and I missed the end of my movie. It’s not often I get the opportunity to get into bed with no kids interrupting me during a movie, so to miss the end of this movie and the main part was quite annoying.

Can be disturbing and annoying especially if the quality of music is mediocre. - Stuff was generally nice, yet not really keen on helping with recommendations/reservations/information. They helped, yet only on repeated request and through googling simple things like restaurants without offering to book a table though. The quality of service could be improved for a 4* Hotel.

Cons: Little information in the room unless you used the TV screen and no real info about how to do that. It offered selection of pillows, but didn't tell you what was actually in the room. We didn't select alternatives and both ended with stiff necks as the ones provided were not really comfortable. It said there was a minibar available but nothing in the room or to tell us about it or where it was.

Cons: The very poor fare in the Club Lounge that was not worth the extra payment. The paid for breakfast was only available in the Club Lounge and there was a restricted menu. The food provided in the Club Lounge was poor especially hot food that was stodgy and deep fried. Housekeeping kept calling us about a turn down service even though we had a do not disturb notice on our door!

Cons: Lax house keeping; tub of ice cream left in the fridge from previous incumbent, room not cleaned on day 3 of 4, despite us being out from 9 - 1 and then 4 - 10 plus 2 carts outside the room when we left first thing. When we told reception, their answer was our do not disturb notice was up; yes it was but expected room to be done sometime in the 10 hours we were outDon’t book a Heritage Veranda room - you’ll be woken at 5am with bins being emptied and cleaned and the road sweeper going through. Also on an intersection so traffic is fairly regular. Bathroom door refused to open whilst in there and door catch eventually broke. Bottom of bathroom door was rotten caused by the wet room effect, which only works if water drains away, which it doesn’t.Safe had a dodgy catch which would take ‘a couple of days to repair’ If breakfast isn’t included, don’t buy it in the hotel - too expensive and heaps of lovely coffee shops which offer a better and cheaper option - Titsch opposite the hotel is just one. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Cons: Strip of glass between the shower and bedroom area. If somebody uses the toilet during the night and turns the bathroom light on, it shines directly onto any other person who is sleeping in the bedroom. Found a used lipstick in the bathroom robe pocket. $100 per night bond for incidentals! Bit rich if your there for several nights and there isn't even a mini bar in the room. Hotel bars were all closed after we returned from dinner out at approximately 10.45pm.

Cons: I am five dauys out from leaving there and I still have holds on my Visa card even though my bill was paid in full when I left .
Initially I had two holds that equaled my full stay of $2800 plus the payment in full. Even now one business week later I have roughly $1400 in holds on my card. That is quite a lot of money to tie up.

Cons: The check-in process is far too slow and the staff is not friendly. Standing at the counter over 45 minutes near midnight to finish the checkin process is unacceptable. When I showed my reservation confirmation no. to the staff, they found my booking but with a different name. They asked me to wait at the counter in order to check with the hotel manager and booking.com, etc. After receiving confirmation from booking.com, they completed the checkin. I wish they would be more helpful and friendly, at least asked me to sit down while they complete the checking if the process took so long.

From the fabulous reception staff (Beth was fantastic!) to the spacious, comfortable and well appointed room with amazing bathroom to the Pacific lounge, with tasty canapés, cocktails and wines and the staff here are sooo helpful (Mina is another star!), there is nothing to fault. We had breakfast in Montereys this time and it did not disappoint. Dewan, the chef, made perfect poached eggs and the choice of food was extensive - something for everyone. Sharon and the other floor staff were attentive and helpful. We are regular visitors here and it never fails to impress. In fact, I'd say it gets better! You will not be disappointed.

Pros: This has to be the best hotel in Perth. From the fabulous reception staff (Beth was fantastic!) to the spacious, comfortable and well appointed room with amazing bathroom to the Pacific lounge, with tasty canapés, cocktails and wines and the staff here are sooo helpful (Mina is another star!), there is nothing to fault. We had breakfast in Montereys this time and it did not disappoint. Dewan, the chef, made perfect poached eggs and the choice of food was extensive - something for everyone. Sharon and the other floor staff were attentive and helpful. We are regular visitors here and it never fails to impress. In fact, I'd say it gets better! You will not be disappointed.

Super clean, very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and professional staff. The executive lounge is terrific, serving drinks and canapés from 5.30 to 7.30. Good selection of food and nice wines.
Cons: Everything was perfect but one suggestion - more staff in lounge when bookings are high. There was not enough to cope with customers as lounge was full. They couldn't keep up with replenishing the drinks and food.

Cons: Clearly not sound proof rooms, as we could hear neighbors tv. Also we had a late check out and cleaning staff decided to clean rooms either side from us at about 7.45am the next morning. Tapping was especially annoying. Rooms also need an update, very worn down everything in room. The Irish Pub which is part of hotel was good for a beer, but the food was terrible. We both paid $24 for a burger and I would have preferred a McDonald's burger, not fresh and wedges tasted refried. Also partners was cold and mine missing bacon. Offered a free drink as compensation.

Cons: In general I can recommend the hostel, but you shouldnt be too picky about bathroom cleaniness. ( depending on the other guest as bathrooms are being shared) The witch's Hat is located in a residential area. Therefore after 10 PM noise is not really wanted.

Cons: Worst hostel experience in two years in Australia. I'm a cheap person, but this is a whole new level. The AC was on an automatic timer, so it shut off at 7 am and didn't come back on until 7 pm. This means I was woken up at 8 am sweating. This was never mentioned anywhere, not even upon check-in. EVERYTHING is an extra charge- wifi, towels, spoons, forks, plates, cups, the list goes on. There's only 2 showers for like 25 rooms (and some of them are dorms). Not nearly enough fridges, no space in them. Chairs are gone at 9.30pm and come back after breakfast, which is not included either. This place is beat.

I am elderly and there was no assistance with my case to my room.
