Cons: We arrive at about 11.00pm. No one came to the taxi to help with luggage and the reception was off-hand. The charge for internet connection was excessive given the room rate (it should be free in a hotel of this aspiration). There was no room safe.

Cons: The room was dirty, under the bed was rubbish. The bathroom was out of order, the bed was broken. Still I didn't get offered a new room. Very poor.

Cons: The plumbing did not working properly. The shower only dribbled and it could not be turned off, hence a continued flow of water all day and night. Carpet in the main room was wet beside the bathroom.

Cons: We stay often at Aaron's Hotel ,Perth on our way back to the Eastern States. The usual standby rate is $99, this time we had to pay $229, the room was exactly the same. No discount was able to be offered at the reception, we were told to ask for a discount through reservations.We often book online, so could not see how this is possible.

Pros: As on previous occassions we find the staff very friendly, polite and helpful. The room was excellent, bed very comfortable and room very clean, with everything provided. A wonderful selection for breakfast, a great steak house for the evening meal with friends. Walking distance to the City centre for all your shopping. We will be back.

Cons: Although the price we paid was reasonable, we felt the room was in definite need of renovation and up-dating. The wooden dresser and night tables were worn and not very attractive.

Cons: Concierges were completely incompetent--gave wrong info re: directions and travel times multiple time making my husband arrive too early/too late for several meetings. Bad smell of moldy carpet on the club floor; furniture uncomfortable and worn--looks like it hasn't been updated since the 1970's.

Cons: They didn't have the king bed and room I had paid for. To their credit, they did refund me some of the difference for the queen room they had. However, they had leaks in the room and the bathroom and their customer service and attention to detail left a lot to be desired. I will not me returning as a guest.

Cons: Have stayed three times in Perth and this has been the best hotel for us. Modern, clean and comfortable room in a very central location. Just wish there had been a separate hotel bar . Plenty of eating and drinking facilities nearby, but they were a bit rowdy at times.

Cons: Only the arguing about keeping the hotell a few hours more on leaving date. We arrived close to midnight on arrival and had a 30 hours travel in front of us - and wanted to keep the room to change to cloths for colder climate before leaving. We got 1,5 hours and we was really stressed as the boattour on Swan River took a little longer time than we thought.

Cons: The PAH has a very dated look and feel about it. My room had carpet showing signs of distinct wear and tear (and looked a little dirty). The bathroom had taps that leaked water continuously, and one of the lights flickered on and off during the night. My room phone did not work at all, and it appeared that hotel maintenance was quite low on the list of priorities. This was very disappointing for me, and a work colleague of mine staying in a different room also had some problems with bathroom plumbing.

Cons: As a 4-star hotel, it doesn't provide toothbrush and toothpaste. We have two persons, but they only placed 1 showercap. We changed our room because of huge noise. When I complaint that the second room they changed for us is not as big as the first one, the attitude of their receiptionist is not friendly. They gave us a very snobby, not warm-hearted feeling during our stay.

Pros: The location and the effort by the staff.
Cons: I received the wrong meal from room servcie on my first evening. The room was clearly not vacuumed on a number of days and the pillows were very poor and contributed to a poor experience. The meals were overpriced (in particular breakfast) for the quality. Overall I was disappointed with the level of service given the reputation of this hotel.

I was a little surprised that the doona did not have a slip cover. Being Saturday night there was a hum and thump of music coming from either in the hotel or a nearby venue. It was a hotel at a price which suited our need for access to city shopping and our budget.

Cons: Booked from Adelaide giving my Visa details beforehand. Arrived after midnight via plane/taxi with my 10yo son who was very tired. Male receptionist was not friendly. Eftpos wasnt working and made me feel like I was giving him a bad Visa card, so luckily I also had a Mastercard I also gave to him, and that didnt work (obviously the problem was due to his machine not my cards) He then insisted I pay cash in cash and suggested I go to the hotel atm down the street. (Female walking streets late Sat night with 10yo son who cant go into hotels at that time anyway!) I ended up scraping up $75 all the money I had in my bag and he reluctantly accepted as deposit. He could have waited til morning when the eftpos lines were working again as he already had my card details. Unbelievable. In the room I thought it was inappropriate that there was sexual info in "massage" pamphlets and the sex station that couldnt be avoided on the tv, along with twin beds that were big enough for 2 if required. Made me feel uncomfortable and wondered what sort of hotel had I brought my son to.
