You know you are in a hotel with class when the mini bar provides full bottles of wine. Great dinner in Wildflower and super breakfast in Post. Can’t recommend enough

Cons: There’s not a lot of eating options in the surrounding area, which was largely commercial, but this also meant the rooms were quiet. I didn’t need a car space, but mostly the street had short time limit parking.

Cons: 1. Room door - It slams shut surprisingly hard one could easily break his/her fingers. The hotel might as well work on the door issues. 2. Safety - It can be really quiet at night and the neighborhood can be a bit less safe than how it looks. We encountered in the evening a drunk stranger asking for a mobile phone to call his mother, then threw a bottle to the ground when we said no to him. It was not that the street is unsafe, but probably because it is just so quiet the entire day. 3. Water - Hot water takes about 3 minutes to come out so before you call the reception, please be patient.

Cons: The floor manager. He was incredibly rude, unhelpful and basically disregarded our concerns we raised as customers. I'll only go back to stay at the apartments again if he is sacked or entirely changes his demeanor and decides to operate as a professional.

Cons: Unfortunately we were not able to stay in the lovely spacious room we were given long enough to enjoy the view over the river or the coffee machine, as the air conditioning was broken. By the time somebody was sent to confirm that, we’d already unpacked everything so a bit annoying to have to repackage and move to a smaller room without the lovely extras of the previous room (hot plates for planned cooking, coffee machine, champagne, water bottles, extra toiletries and a view overlooking the river). Add to that, the fact that one side of the bed was broken to the point where I actually slid off it in the middle of the night. My husband slept in it the next night and wrecked his back so we made an investigation and realised one of the legs was missing. A service man was called and thankfully our last night was comfortable.

Initially I had two holds that equaled my full stay of $2800 plus the payment in full. Even now one business week later I have roughly $1400 in holds on my card. That is quite a lot of money to tie up.

Cons: 1. Bed comforter was too thin 2. Pillows were too soft. I requested firm pillows hotel didn't have actual firm pillows. I did not sleep well the whole 17 days. 3. Having customers get their tea/coffee in the morning at the self serve machines meant my breakfast got cold because i would spend 10-15 minutes waiting in the large line of other dinners to finish until my turn. There were enough waiters during breakfast service to serve customers at their tables to bring their tea and also perform table cleaning duties. Hyatt Regency is a world brand and as a 4 star hotel customers expect table service - world standards dictates this type of service and so does the price. There is nothing worse than waiters telling customers "the machines are there help yourself" especially customers from Asia, Middle East, the Continent and America. 4. House keeping maides need to be more careful when making beds. Placing pillows and comforyers on carpeted floors is unhygienic and pillows pick up dust and germs from floors. People have allergies for one and we dont know whose been walking on the carpets and when they were last cleaned. 5. The room service food was ok but the chefs need to learn how to cook a steak. A lovely piece of scotch fillet was cooked to well done when my order was medium rare.

Result, no TV, no kettle to make coffee or tea and no way to recharge mobile devices, so couldn’t use them instead of TV. Reception unable to reset fuse box and management not forthcoming with any kind of discount for inconvenience caused. I stay regularly in Perth as I live in the Wheatbelt and this has been my most disappointing hotel experience by far.

Pros: I had too stay in Perth for 2 nights cuz my flight was cancelled. I booked Ibis and it was a good decision! Staff was friendly and helpful. I arrived 10am after a long haul international flight and was able to check in straight away. The bed was comfy. Room was clean and there was no street noise. Would definitely stay again! Bar next door serves cheap pints also and the guy working there is awesome!

Cons: Have stayed three times in Perth and this has been the best hotel for us. Modern, clean and comfortable room in a very central location. Just wish there had been a separate hotel bar . Plenty of eating and drinking facilities nearby, but they were a bit rowdy at times.

Cons: The place is old and outdated. My room was very average: the paint, bed and private bathroom looked very old and used. At the time that I was there, they had an ant infestation: I had ants in my room and also in my non-refrigerated food compartment in the kitchen. The kitchen is poorly equipped, so if you like to cook you better go somewhere else.
