Location is 5 min from station and house keeping was good.
Reached late and had requested late checkout - checked with night staff a day before the rooms were available but on the day this man at reception was very argumentative and had to leave in morning with bags.
The location is round the corner from Gare Du Nord, excellent for Eurostar. Room was for me and my two sons. Clean, practical, tea and coffee facilities, daily clean towels. We were top floor and had a balcony which was great. Weather was hot, room had a fan and with balcony open, was good. Staff friendly and helpful- especially Jamal
Hot in all areas... mind you it’s a budget hotel, we’re not expecting air con.
Great location, near Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est.
Unfortunately, though we had chosen and booked this hotel specifically for its quadruple room, we were told on arrival this was ‘blocked’ - for ‘hygienic reasons’. We should have been told prior to arrival and given an opportunity to book somewhere else. We were a family that wanted to be together, not split into two rooms.
This is a lovely little hotel in a fantastic location, mere minutes walk from the Eurostar terminal. The front entrance can be a little hard to find, but once you know where it is, no problems at all. We were on the 6th floor. The lift only goes up to the 5th floor, which is still a bonus, but we did have to carry our bags up one flight of a curved staircase. The room was really comfortable, and the AC blew really cool. As well the staff had turned on the AC in anticipation of our arrival, which was appreciated. The bathroom was nice and modern, and the window opened, which was a nice touch to a) let out the steam from the shower and b) get a good view of the street! The beds were very comfortable and the staff were friendly and professional. I would definitely stay here again.
There was a slightly odd smell from the drains! But we just kept the bathroom door closed. It wasn't too bothersome, this is an old building I guess. The smell was mainly noticeable when you flushed the toilet.
Dirty smelly tiny room.
