Pros: The hotel was absolutely stunning, the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was superb and our evening meal was one of the best meals we have ever had. Breakfast was also fantastic with a large selection of pastries and fruit. The location of the hotel is perfect with everything just a short stroll away which was exactly what we wanted.

Cons: Nothing all excellent.

Pros: Truely a leading and amazingly beautiful hotel: + exceptionally friendly staff everywhere + beautiful design from the lobby, via the bar and in the rooms + the historic building has been newly renovated and just reopened 2 months ago, but kept the historic elevator + the SPA has the most friendly staff creating a beautiful quiet and relaxing atmosphere + features a quiet inner courtyard and outdoor pool in the middle of the city + Wifi is fast and the TV has Chromecast allowing you to use it as a display for your own devicesp

Pros: Didn't stay for breakfast. Location very close to centre and easy reach of all sites and facilities. There was no street noise which is very welcome.

Cons: the swimming pool could have been larger

Cons: The fitness center wasn't ready due to renovation but on the website it advertised otherwise. The airco wasn't working.

Pros: An absolutely fantastic hotel and would love to return

Pros: I thought that breakfast is just too expensive, but it could have been really brilliant, so I won't comment any further on that. The room is very clean. The staff is excellent both Jacob and the other ladies could not be more friendly and helpful.

Cons: We had a problem with our wifi, so could not use Chromecast, so were stuck to television with language we did not speak. The problem was solved the next day by moving us to another room, but a bottle of wine for the inconvenience would have been appreciated. Due to circumstances, we were not able to book a table on our 2nd night and not being able to do so, apart from hours later (we wanted 1900) is not good. Guests should always be able to book. However, Jacob showed us where a good restaurant could be found, translated the short menu and booked for us and we were very pleased with that. The 3rd day the receptionist had very kindly booked for us, so we would not miss out, but we were sat in front of the kitchen/What I call hallway of the Brasserie. I have just had a knee replacement, so getting in and out of those low chairs is not easy. The tables/chairs are also not really suitable for dining. Yes, comfortable to sit in, but not good for dining. On our first night we had a lovely young man from Montpellier serving us and he was brilliant. However, the 2nd night the young lady who did the booking dit not speak any English (I speak a little French) and the young waiter had the same problem. The white wine was too warm and it would be nice if the waiters not constantly poor wine into a glass that is not finished yet. A. it means you constantly have to keep you with your partner / B. the wine remains warm as it is constantly topped up on warm wine. The location was lovely, but as we moved from a higher up room which was more quiet to a lower floor room, we had a lot of problems with the noise. On our first night on the 3rd floor, the bottles (I assume) were loudly emptied into a skip at around 0600 in the morning. Not nice at all. I specifically asked for a quiet room as we live in the middle of a city and finally would be able to sleep in a little bit. But nothing but praise for Jacob and the ladies behind reception! They made such a difference :-)

Pros: The location, hotel amenities, the welcoming staff, and the concierge.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Front of house staff and car parking control excellent, attentive and helpful. Room staff not up to replenishing tea and coffee making equipment. The only real problem is , like many hotels in France, showers are not safe, having slippery floors and soap and tiles do not mix. No grab handles or anti skid protection. Easily cured by using the floor mat inside the shower rather than outside. The restaurant was excellent and the service superb and not that expensive considering the location and quality.

Cons: Room cleaner should have recharged the free tea and coffee supplies in the room. Slippery tiles in the otherwise huge excellent shower and no grab handles. You would think their insurers would require this. Parking is expensive at 30 euros a day, but the retrieval service is fast and excellent and the car is guarded most of the time.

Pros: The location. The equipments. And above all the wonderful staff !

Cons: Superior room a little tiny

Pros: The hotel is just in front of the train station, which is really convenient. The room is modern and renovated, and the bed was very comfortable. Regarding the buffet breakfast, was quite assorted and good quality. Definitely i will stay again at this hotel if I come back to Nîmes!

Cons: The heating system was stopping and difficult to get it to start.

Pros: This was a superb location for rail travellers, just across a square from the station. It was comfortable, clean and to the standards you expect from this brand and represented excellent value for money for the advance payment price. Staff were friendly and helpful and the included breakfast buffet was well presented with a wide choice of items available,

Cons: No issues and no negatives

Pros: Breakfast at this hotel was great - more than enough options. Selection of hot and cold foods was appreciated. Coffee machine worked great.

Pros: Close to the train station and had easy parking at its own underground garage. The Amphitheatre is less than ten minutes walking from the hotel. Breakfast was basic but good! Room was clean.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: My husband and I stayed at the Ibis Styles for 3 nights in December. We thought it was great. The hotel is right behind the train station, which was great for us, as we were using the train for transport. A short walk through the train station and diwn a picturesque walkway got us right to the middle if the old town. The staff was very helpful and had great recommendations for meals. Breakfast was included and snacks were available all day and also included in the rate. Would definitely stay here again!

Cons: The rooms are great! The only negative is they they are a bit small and a little dark. But, the space is used very well and it was perfect for what we wanted to do. Great value for the money!

Pros: I like that is in a great location for everything. Restaurants are close train is also close. Tourists spots walking distance. The hotel great amazing staff as well.

Pros: Easy walk to the train station, beautiful square and church next to hotel. Fastest check-in ever. Room was clean, had a small couch, toilet was separate from the bathroom. Luggage storage.

Cons: Twin beds were very narrow. The hotel looks rather old. No gym, no bathrobes, no room service menu in the room.

Pros: Very nice staff and great location. Very easy to reach by car.

Cons: Place needs up dating. Worn carpeting drab, dated and worn upholstery..

Pros: Location was perfect for walking to key tourist sights. Staff was friendly. Restaurants were nearby. Parking was available. Room was spacious, and WiFi connected well.

Cons: Room layout was a little odd, but it worked. Getting out of parking garage took a couple tries as gate closed before being able to drive out the first time. Fortunately room key had not been deposited immediately which allowed second attempt to open door.

Pros: Very good location and breakfast

Pros: This hotel was only a 15 min walk (even for a tired 4yr old) to the center/train station but felt more like a small tucked away hotel you might find on a hillside somewhere. The courtyard/pool is stunning, with a really nice space for eating outside as well. The wind in Nîmes meant it never got too hot, but also meant the water in the pool was very very cold. The train to the beach at Grau du Roi (where the water is a bit warmer) took less than an hour and was only €1 each way. Great boulangerie across the street, plus a Carrefour just around the corner. The friendliness and helpfulness of the reception staff really sets this hotel apart. I travel extensively for work and can only think of one other hotel with staff so helpful, and that was after staying at that hotel for a month, not just the few days I spent at L'Orangerie.

Cons: We stayed in two different rooms. The first was more expensive but a bit more shabby. Its shower room really needed updating. The next room we had booked was much more cheerful and fresh, and the bathroom was fine.

Cons: WIFI mostly wouldn't connect in room and if it did - dropped out immediately.

Pros: Easy access when arriving by car, about 20 minutes walk to town centre. Plenty of on site parking. Very comfortable bed. Staff helpful. Several nearby restaurants - particularly recommend Asian buffet restaurant.

Cons: Swinging side panel on over bath shower did not fit correctly and it was impossible to shower without getting bathroom floor wet. Breakfast buffet normally good but on one morning all pastries seemed to be stale. TV channel numbers quoted for foreign language channels in bedroom information book were totally incorrect - we never did find BBC!

Cons: The photos of the bedroom and bathroom was not at all what was listed on booking. There was no AC (also different to what was listed on booking)

Pros: We arrived the hotel at 9.00 p.m. We had told the reception that the theft had broken our car and took all our luggage. We also didn't eat anything yet. She is very kind to call the restaurant to book the table before they closed. Next day morning, the girl in breakfast room was heard our lost. She was feel sorry to us and told us to bread and juice for our journey.

Cons: The Breakfast is just far too expensive for what you get - coffee and a slice of toast - 13.50 euros.

Cons: Only one minor complaint because I have bad knees. Because the hotel is only one story, it does not have an elevator. But the rooms and patio are on the first floor (European) or second floor (American).
