Location excellent.Nimes it a top place to visit although not so well known.Historic,clean,picturesque.
The staff were very friendly.Beautiful chandeliers. The medieval building created a nice setting for the hotel.
The bed was too short and the room too small. We found the shower very annoying because there was nowhere to hang up the nozzle and It was necessary to hold it in one hand.It makes it hard to wash ones hair. I thought the gin and tonics that we ordered were very expensive and not very well mixed either. We could not use our iPad inside the hotel.
I like the style of the building and how the architecture has been integrated. I like the room set up with the bathroom and toilets behind the bed. Very warm welcome with a very helpful hostess.
The street of the hotel is a little bit sketchy but this is the way the city is evolving
Lovely hotel and friendly staff.
Difficult to find the property and difficult to drive in this city.
In the heart of the historic center of Roman Nimes, the Best Western Le Marquis de La Baume is nestled in a former town house dating from the 17th Century. With its romantic patio, its historic staircase and antique ceilings, the Best Western Le Marquis de La Baume is the ideal starting point for visiting Nimes and the Gard. This 4 Star hotel is actually very close to the many sites and listed monuments of the city that have witnessed 2000 years of history.
