1
8.6 Excellent (8,354 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at HOTEL MYSTAYS PREMIER Narita in Narita, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Sakuranoyama Park and Naritasan Park. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. This hotel has 7 meeting rooms available for events. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary at scheduled times.
7.5 Good
Cons: The smoking room was too close to the breakfast place and the smoke was around the way from the lifts and while in the line to the breakfast place.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Decided to stay a hotel near the airport rather than travelling from Tokyo to Narita first thing in the morning before a flight. The hotel is quite large with two connected “wings”. I was offered an upgrade to a Premier Suite which I took and the room was very large by Japanese standards. It had a separate lounge area and a desk if you needed to do some work.
Cons: Distance from the airport but that was covered by the free shuttle bus. The dining options were quite limited and the buffet was a little overpriced for what it was.
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff was very helpful even after midnight when the reception was closed and my daughter got very bad cough. So they came to switch on the moisturizer for us.
Cons: Maybe better signs. We got a bit lost while looking for the swimming pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The fish in the pond were e incredible. Also lovely that you could open the window for fresh air.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The fish and the free transportation plus the convenience of the family mart
Cons: We had the buffet was very poor for the money the sushi tasted better from the family mart, also giving the wrong key to room which my wife walked into a naked sleeping man, went to the counter and nobody cared or apologised. Thought we would of at least got an apology
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff. Clean, professional rooms, air-con, huge bathrooms, all bathroom utensils provided, beautiful garden, 24/7 konbini open in the 1st floor of the hotel. Vending machines available. Handy-smartphone you can take out to town and use unlimited data plan.
Cons: It was a bit far from the city.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are polite, friendly and helpful. They provide a free shuttle bus to and from the Airport, Narita Station and Aeon Mall which is most convenience for the guests; they even take an extra effort to arrange another bus for the guests to the Aeon Mall when the 1st bus is full which is very touching. Check in and Check out are smoothly done.
Cons: The public bath have to pay. One of the drawer came out totally when I opened it to check which I believed the Housekeeping did not check on it.
7.9 Good
Pros: Unfortunately our stay here turned into a rest stop as we were caught up in the traffic coming out of Tokyo due to the typhoon. We called the hotel to make sure we could still check in after midnight (as the policy said check-in 2pm-midnight) or if there was an out of hours procedure. No problem we were told, so it made our journey less stressful knowing we wouldn’t have to sleep at the airport. Staff were welcoming and check-in was a breeze. Staff were also extremely responsive to emails prior to our stay (thanks Lin!). The room and bathroom were both clean and we both found the bed very comfortable. The room itself was also spacious enough for us as compared to the other smaller rooms we had in Tokyo. The toiletries provided included mini sachets of facial cleanser, toner, moisturiser for women, as well as shaving cream and other face care products for men. There was also a handy phone in the room which is always a bonus and hopefully we get to enjoy the surrounds in future!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Near the airport.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was a very comfortable stay, I loved the bed perfect for my back pain, good pillows (you get 2 different types)... sleeping in hotels can be hard when you get older, I'm glad we choose to stay in this place, I had a perfect night sleep. Also don't miss their buffet breakfast, loved the variety and different flavors.

Pros: Room size is good for 3 persons. House keeping lady is efficient and nice.
Cons: There is cigarette smell in the room first night.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was ok: clean and fully equipped. I found there even a smartphone with free sim-card.
Cons: not all staff members speak english. One of them couldn't explain how to use an air ionizer in the room, and when I asked a question about the weather, he also didn't understand and looked at me as an annoying client. It was not very polite.
7.9 Good
Cons: Rooms smaller than expected but that’s an observation not a complaint. We were there to shower and sleep not party in the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I booked a deluxe double room which is 25 sqm and has a comfortable queen bed. Room size is very good and very clean. Hotel is very close to Keisei Narita station. Once you exit the station, take the East exit, go down the escalators to the main road. Turn left on main road walk 5 mins, you will see the hotel. Hotel is also close to old narita street which has some interesting shops and a famous bbq eel (unagi) restaurant. The free morning shuttle bus to the airport is also great.
Cons: It did not give free bottled water but it’s ok to just buy water from nearby Lawson.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Closer to the airport. Free shuttle but times are limited.
Cons: Old property, I thought it was renovated but not the room we got. Not customer service friendly, most everywhere we went were except for this hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: GOOD (AND PLEASANT PERSONNEL WHO HELP HAPPILY!!!)
Cons: Note a thing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place to rest for few days before/after and Narita has a lot of stuff to keep travelers busy.
Cons: Nothing of importance
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great. It was much better than expected and better than big airport hotel we later stayed at. Very close to train station. The weather was turning warm and the comforter is much too warm. They need a lighter blanket. I was able to visit Tokyo Richmond which had shops and located in a great area.
Cons: Nice restaurant and very close to parks and train stations.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: I only spent one night on my way elsewhere, and the location couldn’t be beat. It was about a 4 minute walk from Narita Station, which is only one stop from terminals 2 & 3. Great location for a weary traveler who couldn’t be bothered going all the way into Tokyo. The hotel was clean and modern.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Courteous staff
Cons: Need more veg variety inclusions in breakfast. Challenge to stay on ghas-phoos.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice clean room. Breakfast is good and the place is walking distance to shopping mall and train station.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Almost good everything, except the dinner.
Cons: There isn’t the dinner menu in advance. I’m allergic to shrimp!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was our first stay at a Ryokan and we enjoyed it very mucht. The staff was very helpful showing us around and answering our questions. We booked dinner and breakfast and both was excellent with a lot of variety. Our children loved the kid sized yukatas that were provided for them. Moreover, it felt really nice walking up from the station along the road leading to the temple and staying just on the outside of the temple complex. Even though Narita get's a lot of tourists, we've been the only westerners in the hotel and it felt like an authentic japanese experience. Small but very nice onsen facilities without outside area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was incredible, the staff where lovely and very accommodating, my room was beautiful and the food was so tasty and very well prepared.
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like, I love this hotel.

Cons: Hard for me to sleep on thin mattress on floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was an amazing experience with the temple view and tatami floors! The traditional food was great and people brought us our luggage and everything. We got a yukata to wear. It was just so relaxing! If you go to the baths in the early morning or from 1-3 they are empty.
Cons: You can not walk from there to the station with luggage in the heat. Its far too steep and the street it small. Get a taxi to the airport, its only 4000 yen.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff, bar and stunning suite. Shuttle service to the airport.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and all services at hand. I was there in the midst of a typhoon which threw all transport into chaos with people stranded. The staff were wonderful even with a seven hour delay on my arrrival and people swarming in the foyer. Could not ask for more wonderful assistance.

7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast buffet was excellent! Great selection of food items. Location also good. Near the airport and shuttles run frequently between hotel and airport.

7.9 Good
Pros: Free shuttle that goes to the airport frequently. Very convenient.
Cons: Outdated property. Pool only open for 2 months in summer.
10.0 Excellent

6.0 Good
Pros: Good location near Narita airport. Free shuttle bus to/from airport and also downtown shopping area. Staff were efficient, albeit appeared to be a slightly jaded from the constant flow of transit customers.
Cons: Rooms are dated and in need of an update. Check-in procedure quite regimented, with a strict check-in time. I can understand why from a staff perspective, but not so good from a customer service perspective.

Cons: Long coach journey to Airport, shopping or Tokyo. Changing for outdoor pool was substandard as you had to cross areas designed to be dry. Pros: I am very disappointed with my stay on 11th September night with No electricity , it was not mentioned in booking .com or atleast this hotel management didn't inform us by emailing or over the phone. But you both parties did not inform us earlier and I met big issues .Also I could not get my dinner at the restaurant because it was closed without electricity. Therefore I had to walk a distance to grab my dinner. The room was heating sine the A/C was not working and I had to take a very cold shower because the hot water didn't work. Additionally, I could not even charge my phone or access wifi to communicate internationally for my business purposes. It would ave been pleasant if your hotel have informed me of this problem earlier. Therefore, I would like to receive a partail fund because I payed for the electricity as well.Thank you.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: great place to stay
7.1 Good
Pros: The location is great and they provide complimentary breakfast (6-9am).
Cons: However please note hotel policy of check in at 3pm and check out at 10am! We arrived at 2:45pm and the hotel Recep refused to let us check in 15mins before 3pm and requested for 1000 yen extra if we want to check in before 3pm! I think this is so ridiculous that they are so rigid. And they wanted extra money if you do not check out by 10am sharp! I m not sure the hotel is so inflexible or I got a bad employee on check in day!

7.0 Good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were in transit to South Korea. Came in from Fiji in the evening and left next morning for Seoul. This hotel has a few small rooms with double beds that don’t cost a lot. Has pick-up and return for airport. It was perfect as we just desired a clean bed to sleep in. If I ever return to Narita when not in a rush I would definitely stay here and choose a big, I’m-on-vacation room!
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Morning breakfast super crowded even at 6:30am, lots of table but seems like self service because I only saw 1 staff that struggled to clear all the tables.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good
Cons: No Iron, Hair dryer in the room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms and the cleanliness are super nice, including their breakfast too.
Cons: Well I couldn’t find anything that displeasses me during my stay there.
7.5 Good
Pros: Convenient and cleanliness
Cons: Staff at kiosk is very friendly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room and beds. Really pleasant, helpful staff. Courtesy bus took us to the terminal in the morning. Although we arrived too late for the buffet dinner, there is also an Italian themed restaurant open until midnight where we had a lovely meal
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: I like that the hotel was easily accessible by shuttle bus, the staff were welcoming and there was a small convince shop in the hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean and the staff is very kind
Cons: Nothing
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: It was near the airport.
Cons: The hotel was scruffy and dirty. Music played in the corridor all night. The beds were uncomfortable. The food was extremely overpriced and cold. The selection was a mishmash of different world foods that didn't go together and the staff refused to acknowledge that there was a problem. Fortunately this was the only accommodation in Japan that was poor, it was also the only location I found the staff rude and unhelpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and staff were great. The hotel was probably built in the 50's and shows it. But for the price the room was wonderful, bed, bathroom and all other items were fine. It certainly is not the "Hilton" but the price was very responsible
Cons: Just that it was very old and needed updating but all facilities were fine, clean and the staff was great.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Old, but really well kept. Would love to stay again. Very kind and friendly staff. A real joy and a great way to start my Japanese experience
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is great when you have to take an early flight
Cons: Hotel has not been renovated for years. Diner was very expensive for Nothing special.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It's a very conveniently located hotel for the airport
Cons: Nothing really. For the price which is very good, it fits the bill. As you'd expect at this price point the decor is pretty outdated but that's not why you'd stay here
5.4 Okay
Pros: The shuttle bus was ace The location The staff were very friendly
Cons: The room was very dated The bed cover was dirty Sour smell in the room Needs a face lift in the rooms and corridors.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location. Really close to the airport. Bus to the airport was quick and convinient. Staff were excellent. Vending machines downstairs have a great selection if you need something to eat.
Cons: Decor was a little outdated.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The bus, it's extremely convenient. Especially while traveling with lots of luggage!
Cons: Nothing in particular. Everything was as it's supposed to be.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Very close to the Terminal 1 of Narita airport. Free shuttle buses to Terminal 1 and Terminal 2/3.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here after 13 hours flying. Comfortable, super quiet, and big room.
Cons: 80’s decor was pretty funny.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It is conveniently located near the airport. Perfect to stay for a night before my flight the next morning.
Cons: Meals at restaurant is kinda pricey for the quality of food you get.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We arrived late and were not sure about if we could go downtown at this hour. So we booked this hotel, 5 min away from the airport by feet (2 min by shuttle bus provided by the hotel if you don't want to walk but you'll have to wait for it to come). We were happy we booked it because we arrived the same day typhoon Faxai passed in Tokyo and public transportations were all closed. So really convenient if you arrive late and the staff was really nice. Plus, the room is significantly bigger than in downtown :)
Cons: Nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very VERY spatious room and corridors, close to the airport Terminal 1 (especially when you finally find the right - meaning closest - way to get there...). There are scales for the luggage in the foyer and if you arrive earlier than your check-in time and the room is still not ready - they let you leave the luggage there. Also a free shuttle is very convenient, especially if you have several heavy bags. Convenient train connection between the airport and Narita station (the town) allows to do some fun last day sight-seeing.
Cons: The breakfast was not very good, very little choice for different food. Also, have in mind that if you plan to visit AEON mall which is really just a few kilometers away (or other nearby stores) for some last-minute shopping - the last direct bus between the airport and the mall leaves from the mall at around 6:30PM and it is quite a walk by foot if you miss it :] On the other hand there are lots of stores in the airport itself, so just plan accordingly.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: If you think about 1 night stay before or after your flight - good choice. 10 minutes by walk, or 3 minutes by shuttle bus from Narita Airport. Rooms are big with confortable beds. Hotel is in old fashion (you get key, not magnetic card) but it is not something negative. Very fast check-in/check-out was offered by staff - it seems they know their guest are tired or hurry for the flight.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, free and regular airport shuttles. Nice quiet area.
Cons: Nothing really. It is dated but I liked that.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Need to clean carpets and hallways smelled
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and value for money.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location and ease of getting to the property from the airport.
Cons: Nothing, it met all my needs.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The room was good. The lobby looked very nice.
Cons: A/C didn’t work well even we called to the front desk many times. The air felt like stuck and my boyfriend couldn’t sleep at all. We needed to leave the hotel at 4am (we planned to leave at 10am) due to the lack of good cool air in the room. The corridors and lobby felt much better but not inside the room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was great and hotel was a short taxi or shuttle bus away from the airport. Great for a night's sleep before a flight. We did not use the Spa but would have likely used it if we were there for longer.
Cons: Check-out was a little problematic as there was no warning that payment had or not been taken prior to our check-in. Unlike every other place we had stayed in Japan payment was to be taken at check-out even though nothing was said. Suffice to say this caused an issue when we were in a rush to catch the shuttle bus in the morning. Other than this, it was a great stay so don't let the above deter you.
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff hotel facilities were awesome
Cons: The room was really old and dirty I had to ask to change rooms but the new room also had cleaning issues
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Right next to the airport. Perfect to rest for a long transiting connecting flight. There is a shuttle bus that takes from both airport to hotel.
Cons: We arrived late in the evening after a long flight. No eateries nearby. The restaurants in the hotel were fully booked or closed. Lucky there was a convinent store in the hotel which we could buy some food.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Neat and spacious (for Tokyo) room, comfortable bed.
Cons: The room itself was fine for the purpose of our stay. Clean, tidy and all the amenities we needed (razors, shower caps, toothbrushes etc). We arrived at Narita during a natural disaster. Staff had probably been stranded at work covering those who couldn't make it so little things like keeping the store or restaurant open for the bus load of people who'd been waiting at the airport for 4 hours probably didn't cross their minds. But it would have been very much appreciated by a large number of hungry guests!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We missed our flight and had to scramble. They provided shuttle service to Narita (free) and also shuttle service to nearby towns and mall. Great little expedition to end or begin your trip in Japan. Affordable price is a huge selling point, and staff is very generous and really helpful. We drank heavily and had a time exploring the hotel and going out on the shuttle. Note, this place has a very 60's-80's ish decor. Which was hiliariously cheese and cool.
Cons: The beds are dated and the room is a bit smaller than traditional US hotels. Motel setting in a scaled hotel size.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good value, given excellent location less than 5 minute walk to Memorial Peace Museum and less than 15 minutes to A Bomb Dome. Hotel is also surrounded by excellent restaurants.
Cons: All good
1.0 Poor
Pros: The location is just 15 - 20 mins drive from Narita airport. And the hotel provides free shuttle from both train station and narita airport. This is really helpful as you can imagine, it would be expensive to call taxi. We stayed in the hotel the night before we flied off to go home. The convenient location provided us extra comfort in terms of not missing our flight on the next day.
Cons: We stayed in the garden wing, twin bed. This is REALLY AWFUL. The garden wing is REALLY OLD and smelly. I can't believe I am in Japan when I was in garden wing. When the lift door opened, I was in a complete shock. The bed was nowhere close to comfortable.. It is way too simple. The carpet in the hotel seemed haven't been changed for 20 years, hence the smell. Everything is just way too old and should be upgraded asap

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very respectful staff and polite and very welcoming.
Cons: The weather ,it was cold....
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: the shuttle is limited: which the post did not mention. We missed the last shuttle at 815p by 15 min and he said to get a train. Which would be good but we are in a foreign land it is not so easy with the language barrier. We payed just as much to get a taxi to the hotel as to stay at a better hotel. Also the bed was like a rock it was awful. Expensive for what was quoted...
Cons: the bed, the smell of smoke, the false claim of a free shuttle
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely breakfast, good service from the staff, perfect for reaching Narita.

Pros: Check-in very smooth and the airport shuttle was on time and easy to spot.
6.3 Good
Pros: Great option as a stop over
Cons: Cheaper food options
5.8 Okay
Pros: The reception and shop
Cons: This hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. Dirty stained carpets, bashed hallways. Windows that are permanently misted up and very small rooms for the price we paid. It’s used a lot for a children’s theme park and we experienced Multiple tired crying children late in the evening. Avoid at all costs. Look at my photos.
7.9 Good
Pros: location

Cons: It is not as accessible by public transport if you are not travelling from airport or by car
7.1 Good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views of runway 16R Narita
Cons: They charge extra for onsen and gym

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available on request).
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: I stayed at the 6th floor, in a room which was really small. The noises from every single room gets through every wall and you can’t sleep properly if there is someone talking. The WiFi didn’t work inside the room and was poor in the lobby. For the price they charge, I consider it a waste of money. The shuttle works every hour, which also is inconvenient. Not recommended at all.
Cons: WiFi, room size, personnel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: free shuttle tot the airport
Cons: too many Chinese people
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was a cost effective overnight solution Shuttle bus to the airport
Cons: The room wasn't clean - there were stains on the bed and the sheets felt oddly wet. The location is particularly boring with little to no food outlets or a social life.
6.7 Good
Pros: Airport shuttle, lobby
Cons: Old, cramped room, distance from the train stations
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The twin room is spacious. Lighting is good. Breakfast has quite many choices. Kids under 12 are free of charge! Btw, they offer shuttle to and from the airport, which is a big plus. A small mall, Aeon, is 2 min away, and it takes only 10 min to walk from the train station.
Cons: The staff at check-in counter was helpful but did not give a warm, friendly vibe. The breakfast time is only until 8:30 am, though they didn't start putting food away until 9 am.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great price, good size room and very near big shopping mall. Free shuttle to airport
Cons: A little bit old
7.5 Good
Pros: We were here as our last place before going home. I accidentally booked a room were smoking was allowed and when asking for a smoking free room they changed to a smoking-free room. Also the shuttle bus to the airport made sure that the last part back was very easy and relaxing.
Cons: The only thing was that the bed and pillows were pretty hard.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Free shuttle to the airport Breakfast buffet from 6am to 8:30am
Cons: It’s a little outdated

5.8 Okay
Pros: High tech check-in method. The unit is near big supermarket for just crossing the road. Place is easy to find.
Cons: The location is not convenient for those who has big luggage's due to slope way. It is not a place for a light sleeper like me who need a quiet place. The unit is near road side. You can hear the sound of all cars passing by the whole night. The wall is not sound proof and I am unfortunate to have kid at neighbor room does not sleep at night, playing and crying finally. I only blamed myself for jump into low price decision.
7.5 Good
Pros: Near the Narita airport. Supermarket is just next door
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Close to the train from the airport and restaurants
7.5 Good
Pros: The location. A clean and accurate place.
Cons: Very thin walls, plus space above the doors - we could hear all the voices of other guests from the main lobby and even other rooms. Couldn’t sleep well, unfortunately.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything.
Cons: We think the air conditioning for Room No. 2 might be not well working.
6.3 Good
Pros: Check in and check out was a breeze even though there was no staff. It was an access code lock which auto-locks which made me feel safe on the property. Close to a large supermarket and a decent number of restaurants.
Cons: To get into the building, there was several steps. It's alright if you're travelling light but I went at the end of my trip so my luggage was heavy with shopping so it was a small struggle to get into the building. Room booked for futon so was expecting extra space for luggage only to find that the futon couldn't be folded up so very little space to open luggage
6.3 Good
Cons: The quad room was too cramp for my family of 4 with big luggages and the bathroom was tiny. There ambulance sirens were very loud as a hospital was located across the road.
7.5 Good
Pros: * Very clean bathroom, clean room and bed stuff * Not terribly far from the Keisei station and town food area * Supermarket right next door * Great view down onto the street * Plenty of sockets near the beds
Cons: * It is a bit hard to spot from the outside * There are a few stairs up to the elevator * The room (at least #4) is extremely small * The bathroom is also a bit crammed and the toilet is a bit hard to sit down on
7.1 Good
Pros: Clean, great price, grocer across road.
Cons: Directions to room.
