I requested the ocean view room before we got there because we had to book a partial ocean view due to the full booking for full ocean view room and they said that they will try their best to make it and they really made it! So is a real bummer to go to the beach in front of Intercontinental as there is no sun. I just took towels there and walked to where there was sun.

Firstly they charged me 2 months before I was due to stay at the hotel - even though Booking.com clearly states that I would only be charged when I stayed there. I lost the debit card that was charged, so when I checked in they charged me again and said that they would refund the original payment. There has been a lot of back and forths and I have not received the payment. I do not understand why such a simple procedure could take such a long time. It is a not a cheap hotel so I hope to receive my refund soon.

Cons: The payment for booking and arranging an airport transfer process was very difficult. Had over x10 emails exchanged with the reservation team (in total 4 different people) in terms of clarifying my card for the payment of booking and an airport transfer and it was to the point of the reservation team email to say: 'We looking forward receiving all info before 6.30 pm on 31/10/18 in local time. Otherwise, you’re recommeded to take taxi to hotel by below address'. Even though they have stated in their originally email that payment can be in 'cash payment' upon arrival. At one point, when I called up to confirm payment, they couldn't find my booking reference. Overall, from the point of booking the hotel on Booking.com, it wasn't straight forward. Far from a 5 Stars experience.

Reception and concierge were unable to provide us with any valuable information. Hotel beach is small (only 20 sunbeds), the pool is also very small, constantly in the shade and with a very limited number of sunbeds. The prices of the food and beverages in the hotel is outrageous (both comparing with Nha Trang prices and with the room rate)

Pros: The reception staff and the concierge were very very very helpful. The property is very clean. It has a strategic location. Many coffee shops, a shopping mall that every thing you want you can find in it, the sea promenade are just minutes away from the hotel. The hotel rooms are facing the sea side which is a very beautiful scene to see day and night.
Cons: It seems that the rooms are not well insulated from noise. Avoid taking a connected room. The Air Condition System in the rooms needs to be improved. The setting is always On. You can not put it in an Auto mode; at least this was the case in my room. Other than these issues, i highly recommend staying in Nha Trang Sheraton Hotel.

The breakfast was a bit chaotic (too many people and I had to follow up myself for spoons and bowls etc. many times which were empty) and the breakfast room is actually a bar with many high bar tables so my daughter was sitting under the table first two days. We went for breakfast to another nearby hotel the last 4 days of our stay. There are not many chairs at the private beach so you have to go there at 7am and secure your seat.

Cons: The property is looking and feeling rather tired and could do with a spruce up. The staff at reception were indifferent and not especially friendly, which I found very unusual compared to staff at other resorts I've stayed in whilst in Vietnam. I asked twice at reception what a taxi fare from the resort to the airport was and both times I was told approximately 350k VND and the fare was actually over 600k VND. I would have thought the staff could easily answer that question correctly, especially as the price using the hotel shuttle was quoted at 500k and I would have taken that instead! I accidentally broke a wine glass in my room and I was asked to pay for it. I have never encounter that before in all my extensive travels.

Cons: There is only one drawback, I’ve noticed: few deck chair on the beach. But I still not sure, that it’s a problem of this particular Hotel, because as I saw, other Hotels also have small amount of deck chair on the beach, so, maybe it’s down to the City Hall policy, who knows?

Pros: This hotel is impressive, the staff are super attentive, kind and very professional. We have compliments to everyone who made our stay special. We won a deluxe room upgrade, no words to describe the splendid seaview. Other points to mention are: the impeccable cleanliness, the excellent breakfast (it's like a banquet), the beach access is through a tunnel - something that is differential, you will find many restaurants nearby and there is also own restaurant which is very good with amazing view. Well, we had a fantastic experience in Havana Hotel, we highly recommend it to everyone. We will definitely be back.

Cons: The lifts stopped at every single floor and were jam packed full of people each time you got in one. If you are staying on one of the higher levels you can imagine the wait. Sometimes waiting 10 - 15mins to get to breakfast of a morning. Front desk receptionist English was average. The first room we booked aircon was not working well. Could not manage to get it lower than 24 degres. Making it very uncomfortable. Although staff did manage to compensate us with a new room.

Pros:
Cons: Asking specifically for a room with a bath tub the hotel offered us the Honeymoon Suite with a cool looking Jacuzzi as an upgrade deal. After dinner, already looking forward to our hot tub, we soon realized that it would not be up for the job, since neither water temperature nor flow were high enough (in the end it took 3 hours to fill it up with then lukewarm water). The soon requested help, was no help at all, since technically nothing could be solved. Very unhappy with the unusable hot tub, we complained again at the reception, only to find out now, that this in fact is a KNOWN and often complained issue with their hot tubs! Obviously we were quite upset with this deception. Last but not least, this bath was the main reason we chose this hotel. Also, the offer to downgrade our room to one with a regular size bath tub was no option since they couldn't heat up the water! With no management present at night, we would only let go for the moment since we got promised that we could talk to them the next day to get a proper excuse and compensation. A little later we even tried a proactive attempt in a workaround with water boilers. However, we soon got blocked by an unwilling and rude night shift. During check out the next day we expected a quick resolve. Instead, we had to ask persistently for an hour for the manager, while explaining our situation over and over again. Even more, the assistant (who claimed to be the manager, first!) seemed to be instructed to put the blame on us. It was ridiculous: we should have complained right away; we could have changed the room; we took an upgrade deal, so why even complain? With the manager finally present (didn't introduce himself!), we slowly got somewhere. He blamed it on miscommunication and was only willing to refund us half our room rate - we expected a full refund, of course! While walking out of the hotel, one of the staff came asking us, NOT to leave a review... -> without words!

Cons: Didn't have much choices for breakfast. The location was at the end of the alley which block car to enter at evening so you need to walk about 5-60m. No problem for me but if you have kids or elderly, please note it.

Pros: Fantastic staff! So helpful and always welcoming. We came from a hotel right next door which was double the price and this was 100 times better. The room was great, nice and big, the view of the beach was amazing to wake up to and the buffet breakfast was the best we have seen yet in all of Vietnam. The hotel is in prime location, walking distance from everywhere amd only a few metres to the beach.

They are very supportive and friendly to kid and the oldies. Location is perfect, right in the heart of city center, surrounding by restaurants, sea-food BBQ places and many shops. But it's opposite to Sailing Club Nha Trang, therefore please ask receptionist for room at higher floor (I stayed at 14th Floor) to avoid the noise if you prefer early sleep or if you go with kiddos and the oldies.

Everything had to be paid for on the day in cash. The cost of breakfast was extortionate (we went out)...maybe they believe their own hype a bit too much. Pedicure and Thai massage not the usual experience.

Cons: Too much Russian focused, Russian menu and text all over the place. By check in they ask you not to eat seafood, not to eat Durian fruit and inform you about fines they will apply. I do not like such welcome. This is probably how their current guests are using the rooms. While ordering drinks at the pool, the system was not up to date, I could not add my drinks to the room bill, the staff fixed the issue, but I had to wait too long standing at the bar (while they had an option to come back to me later as I signed the bill already).

Cons: The fridge in our room was really bad. It couldn’t keep the water etc. cold, so the milk and yoghurt got bad after just one day... The bathroom was very small so you had to close the door to get behind to the toilet. The cleaning wasn’t the best either. We could find dirt from before cleaning still being on the floor after cleaning, such as sand. The pool on the rooftop looked nice, but there was floating sigarettes. There was little sun on the sunbeds because of the other hotels plus the rooftop was turned away from the sun aften 12 PM. The breakfast had poor variety and little amerikan and european choices. The eggs was served cold and they never managed to refill food that got empty even though there was over an hour left of the breakfast time. Since the hotel is close to everything, it’s also close to parties. There was loud music and bass all night long. We were provided earplugs, but that didn’t help much.

Cons: I feel very disappointed and unsatisfied with the qualities of facility, service and the poor efficiency at work. I hope that the feedbacks from me can help to improve quality of your hotel in many aspects. For the quality of facility, the bathroom fixture is broken. When we took a bath for a while, we suddenly saw the floor was full of water and the water keeps dropping from the edge of bathtub. It makes me feel annoyed about when I just step into the bathroom my foots get all wet and slippery floor. Also, the problem is happened for two of our bathroom instead of just one single event. For the quality of service, the follow up service is not enough and not effective. Since we paid extra person fee for one more friend lives with us, I expected the extra bedding will sent to our room. However, it is not what we are expected and the also bottled water haven’t fill enough for us after room cleaning service. Therefore I call the front desk and request them deliver it to us. Around 10mins later, our requested stuffs are incomplete so I just call it again for the same stuffs and list it one by one about the quantity of what we need but it is still not complete. For the poor efficiency at work, the work efficiency and communication deserve concerned. It is so provoking that the staff keeps wasting my time and cant communicate. When I want to check out, the stuff told me they missed 3 big towels 1 slipper and one stuff that I forgot what is it, I can’t check out with not making any compensation. I tell her I have to go airport but she keeps me waiting and ask someone to find out those stuffs in phone. 5mins later, the staff told me we still miss 3 big towels and 1slipper. I was mad at that time, I ask her about when you know those stuffs are lost? and she told me 2days before. How can the staff ask me to waiting for longtime to let them find it out one by one instead of ask us when they know it is missed at the beginning.

Cons: We tried to get our laundry done at the hotel and the language barrier led to a lot of confusion and in the end they told us the washing machine was broken. We got it done down the road for a fraction of the price. We were not told when we checked in that the hotel had its own area on the beach with free towels and umbrellas. The shower leaks out all over the bathroom floor.

Cons: We arrived with 8 people and had booked 3 rooms and requested early check in in advance. They replied it would be granted subject availability which we understand. Upon arrival they confirmed 1 room was readily available but the initially asked us to pay extra with a fee higher then the roomrate we paid for the full day. Logically we did not agree and after some arguing we finally got the room without extra charge for early check in. This hassle could easily have been avoided.

We had booked a night bus to hoi an and didn’t realise until the evening that it had been booked for the day after the girl behind the desk (unfortunately did not catch her name) went out of her way to try to sort out other arrangements for us as the bus company said they were full for that evening in the end it all worked out and turns out they weren’t full and we managed to get the bus we original intended to get but massive thank you to the lovely girl who was helping us make other arrangements!

Cons: The room was smaller than it was supposed to be. We booked through booking.com, but when we payed at the hotel they racked on an extra 3% to our bill for credit card fee. It isn’t mentioned anywhere on booking.com, the hotels website, or when we checked in. It was a surprise. Overall, it was an okay experience, and 3% isn’t much but I still feel they were misleading and it isn’t a good way to conduct business. Most businesses accept the credit fees themselves so they can attract more customers. If they don’t, they should be upfront about it.

Pros: The room size and bathroom was excellent. Fantastic location and views. Great breakfast. Helpful front desk staff. Good there were beach towels and beach chairs for guests.
Cons: When our room was made up, the bed was made but the room wasn't cleaned properly. For example, walking on the floors made our feet black.

Cons: Room cleaning was underwhelming. The floor was barely cleaned and at some point the cleaning lady didn't bring us a tea spoon, which we were then asked about at checkout. Pretty noisy outside in the evening, even with the windows closed.

Cons: - big ongoing construction on the building next door starting at 7am. They were almost drilling through our wall. We were offered another smaller room but we refused.

Cons: We booked a cheap room, which turned out to be a "room without windows." It was large but definitely dark and the hallway/kitchen noise was quite loud.

Cons: The woman checking me in was so rude. She insisted on keeping my passport, no way! I insisted I'll pay upfront and she can make a photocopy.
The hotel was dark and so dirty. It felt almost haunted.
I woke up to cigarette smoke. The neighbors were smoking, but it felt like they were in my room. People yelling in the hallways.
The breakfast was disgusting. Free breakfast at all hotels throughout Vietnam so far. I couldn't even eat here.
The air quality in the room was poor. Go figure I have a cold now!
I would never stay here again or suggest anyone else to. I can't believe Lonely Planet suggested this place? I waited until the last minute to book in this area, I didn't have many options, although anywhere else would have been better. Gross.
