The Dylan Hotel and staff were Excellent. The lobby is still undergoing renovation, but rooms are large and well appointed; one of the best accommodations I have experienced in NYC! It has gone to the top of my will go to hotels!

Pros (+) Location to Grand Central was perfect. Lots of decent restaurants in walking distance. Very quiet, spacious room. Comfortable beds. really nice helpful staff.
Cons (-) Overall, just a little run down. Stopper missing in bathroom sink, furniture was stained and a bit nicked.

Pros (+) Super close to Grand Central, surprisingly very quiet even though we were facing 41st st! Staff was a bit slow and there were a handful of weird guests, but overall very good. Can't beat the price for a downtown hotel.
Cons (-) Slow and confused staff Room down the hall stunk of cigarettes (though ours was fine)
