I was supposed to pickup a luxury big suv but they didn’t have any at the time we arrived. There were seven of us plus luggage. We ended up getting a huge Ford transit van which, ultimately the kids loved for the space, but I hated driving it. Budget helped us out as much as they could, so I guess I can’t complain that much.

Very poor. I tried to save some money with a cheap rental from budget and ended up regretting it. arrived to the desk for car pickup and encountered a long line of customers with understaffed budget team and vehicles not available. Was told over 2 hour wait time for vehicle. I cancelled online because i could not wait 45+ minutes to get to the front of the line to cancel with the budget employee. I got a rental from hertz immediately, where i have presidents circle status, but i cost roughly an extra $100.. Then budget charged me for their rental and i have initiated a time consuming process to try to recoup my charges from budget.

I reserved my car 3 weeks in advance for 12/26. Upon arrival, and after waiting for quite some time, we were informed that they were out of cars and we’d have to wait for 1-1.5 hours to see if they had any come back. We were put on a waiting list along with people who just booked a day or two prior and ended up waiting 1.5 hours to get a car which was smaller than what we paid for and smelled like smoke. Our luggage barely fit in the back. It really delayed our trip to see family and friends and was not what we paid for.

It was 95% self service. Had several problems and unable to reach anybody who could help.. not getting help caused me to miss flight & get a hotel room. They charged me $200/day keeping the rental car that started out at $50/day!!!

There were no cars even though multiple people had reservations. The men staffing had no other options to offer, help, or information. People were stranded or had to pay higher prices at other companies if they wanted a car. Don’t book with Hertz, they don’t honor reservations.

We used their “skip the line” feature, which led to us waiting in three lines. The first person we encountered refused to even look our reservation up, sending us to another counter. That counter sent us back to the first counter. While we waited in the third line we listened as the associate gave away the cars randomly, telling folks to pick anything they wanted in spots 1-20. Oddly those slots held everything from compacts to SUVs, which do not rent for the same rates. We ended up with the last small SUV, even though we paid for a mid sized SUV. No apology for the poor service either. Sad.

While the vehicle was good, but the service with the reception staff was awesome. Ken was key to this experience. Given the time I arrived to the facility, she recognized I must have been exhausted. However, she pleasantly welcomed me. Additionally, she was very patient and accommodating during the credit card transaction. I had to try two separate cards before I found one that work. Of course, this slowed down the remainder of the line. nonetheless, great experience. I only wish every counter experience was like that experienced with Ken. Thanks.

I didn't realize that Kayak booked through expedia. I had two different confirmation numbers, so I thought I accidentally made two separate reservations. It wasn't as clear as I would have liked. But the price was great as was my experience with Hertz

I rented a SUV for pickup the same morning of rental. When i arrived for my pickup the Dollar rep wasn’t pleased i went through kayak and told me there was a 4 hr wait time after rental was booked. She said I shouldn’t use kayak. She said I wasn’t going to get a suv and i could go wait and come back. This delayed my travel. I kept staying near the counter and was staying nice to the agent. It was not busy and she finally motioned for me to return to counter. she said i can give you a kia but your not getting an suv and the price will not come down so what do you want to do? I had no option but to take the kia car and make do. I am very unhappy w the service of the dollar rep and the vehicle i was forced to take. It is not a positive experience when the rep downplays me using kayak as my rental platform either. David Hewitt

We didn’t get a vehicle because they didn’t have a van for us after they had sent emails saying our rental was ready for us. Waited 2 hrs and got stories about the van needing to be cleaned. Finally admitted they didn’t have a van. A waste of time.

I rented through Dollar because our group of EIGHT NEEDED a Ford Transit and that’s what I reserved. Alas, at pick up, we were STUCK with a KIA suv. Luggage was a huge hassle and getting into the rear of the vehicle, a challenge for our 70 year olds. I was thoroughly disappointed.

Thought customer service poor. Unable to get vehicle . Kia Sorento small for 7 people and luggage. Unable to upgrade with paying 45 more per day, no vehicles. Pathfinder not there or minivan. Charge for Expedition 75 a day more. Too expensive. Was charged for extra driver 13.99 a day. Showed rental coverage policy saying no charge. Still charged extra. Not pleased with service. Told no vehicles in to accommodate us. Had seniors . Sent to 3rd floor and slot to pick up car. Had to find someone to help us there. Luggage space small with 3rd row up even with carry on. Basically put luggage between seats. Uncomfortable ride to travel 2.5 hours from airport. Very disappointed

Self checking in. The rental process was swift since I self check myself. Interaction with an agent last only 15 minutes. I was frustrated with the air line for the twice delayed then canceled but Thrifty got me on the road quickly!

Great car. Clean. Drove well. The cracked windshield was a first for me. The pick up is from the rental car place which is off the airport. So after taking a shuttle from the airport one has to then get picked up by Priceless at the main rental car building which adds more travel time but is otherwise ok.

Well since I okayed for thier insurance it did not go through on the site I ended up having to pay for another type of insurance. Also no cruises control on a car I spent over 400.00 for 3 days. Over all it was not a "good" experience

The low air pressure light was on and we asked about it and they said it was due to weather and a bad sensor. Completely false, it comes on when the pressure gets below 25 psi. We had to fill up 3 times in 4 days. They also said we were liable for any tire damage. So if the tire had blown out we would be on the hook for a new tire. When we called and told them it's not a bad sensor, they told us the front left tire leaks before we told them which tire it was. They again told us it was because of weather. Also, it's unlimited miles but they asked us not to drive to Pensacola from New Orleans. They also charged us a $400 deposit. We've never had more thst a $100 deposit. When we returned the car they said we got an upgrade and our money's worth because we drove 400 miles. I cannot believe they intentionally sent out a car with a known problem and lied about it. They tried to make us feel as though it was no big deal and that us dealing with their car issues is just the way it works. The worst car rental experience we've ever had. Will never rent from Ace or Nifty again.

The rental is not with the other airport rentals so you need to call and get a second shuttle to pick up your car. We had to wait for 3 trips since people showed up before us and they were only using an SUV. The person at the counter was nice enough and they upgraded our car so we’d have more space but the car was infested with ants and they told us that it wasn’t a good enough reason to get a new vehicle. We have a 2 year old and the ants were crawling all over her seat and on her. It was incredibly rude to not let us switch out the car. Waste of time and just gross. Pay the extra money to get a car from a good business.
