It’s right in the center street of downtown Monterey, a lot restaurants and shops, only thing is there isn’t AC in the rooms, only a fan in there, I was too hot to fell asleep.

Vintage charm but rooms are so basic they miss the opportunity to make it special.

Location, location, location! Close to fisherman’s wharf, on a Main Street with multiple food options. Easy to walk the dog. Only thing missing was AC, the room was a bit stuffy, even with both windows open and a fan (provided in the room) going.

The locationn was nice; five minutes from he wharf and downtown. I’ve never been that close before so it was nice.

Cons (-) They in the process of adding more room. But when they put you in the "historic" part of the hotel, it seems ancient. We were put above a cafe, very noise until 10:30.
