Pros: I was concerned that the relatively low price would be reflective in the conditions but I was pleasantly surprised to find it a very well kept, clean and neatly designed facility. The staff clearly tries very hard to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms are a blend of modern and 50's retro style with a huge shower and extremely comfortable pillows! My favorite part though, was the beautiful courtyard/pool/bar area that was like an oasis. Surrounded by a thick hedge of plant-life which keeps it private from outside the facility, but still gives you a gorgeous view of the western sky as the sun sets at night. Nice, well stocked bar right there by the pool, and they had a free (mini) concert with a DJ performing there in the courtyard. If it hadn't been Miami Music Week, I might have considered staying to just party at the hotel! In the morning, I woke up a little earlier than my girlfriend to go for a swim. It was such a beautiful morning, quiet, with just a few guests catching some rays by the pool, and there was a small photo shoot for a clothing magazine going on at the other side of the hotel - pretty cool, and understandable that they would pick the Vagabond to do a photoshoot because the decor all over the place really is neat and would be fitting for a retro-type clothing line. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and I'm very happy because I know exactly where I'm going the next time I come back to Miami - The Vagabond Hotel!

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place, wonderful and helpful staff. Great on-site diner with healthy options. Various restaurants in the vicinity. Spacious and comfortable room.
Cons: Breakfast was really just to eat something and not enjoyable. I was on my own and did not feel safe to walk around after dark - which was really early since it was winter.

Pros: Every thing is perfect in this hotel, except the breakfast. Swimming pool is awesome.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The pool was inviting and not overly busy, welcoming staff and great to have an on site diner. The location also was an unexpected win being in the Mimo district with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby
Cons: Really picking at straws but location next to a main road means it can be a little noisy if the windows are left open. However there is air con and the windows when shut, keep out a lot of sound. The room smelt a little of damp.

Pros: Beds were very comfortable, A/C worked great. Super cute retro decor. Loved the poolside bar with lush tropical old Florida vibe. Fabulous service and delicious Mojito.
Cons: Loved everything.

Cons: On the way in from the interstate, I had to drive through some sketchy neighborhoods.
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice pool, nice design, fun place!
Cons: 1 Walls and floors are VERY thin, I could hear every word of the neighbor's phone conversation 2 The desk in the room looked cool but as useless: because of a beam along the bottom of the desktop I couldn't get my legs under the desk to actually sit at it. Had to work in the breakfast room with loud tv 3 The only real window is onto the walkway around the motel, so the blinds on the window are always closed, so no view
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I stayed here for New Year's Eve and had a fantastic experience. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the room was great, the outdoor bar fun with delicious cocktails, the restaurant was upscale casual at its best. Ten stars.
Cons: While it wasn't a problem for us, some people might be uncomfortable with the toilet area, which is only separated from the rest of the room by a partial door. The sort of open layout plan one might find in European hotels.
7.5 Good
Pros: Furniture is new/well kept, bathroom is very comfortable and large. Bed is very confortable.
Cons: Smelled humid/mildew initially. Once turned on the dehumidifier and lowered the a/c temperature it got better. Lacking electric outlet at bedside and desk, very inconvenient.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and modern, nice rooms and lovely pool area!
Cons: Breakfast was limited. The ac unit in the room was so noisy, had to sleep with earplugs in every night.

Cons: Not everything in the room was clean and free of stains (particularly walls and pillows), but this is why I carry disinfecting whipes and spray to sanitize the room and use my own bedding/towels.
