Good staff and old character of building
Bathroom shower head falling out of wall. Chose floor with club amenities and was not in room I selected.
Best stay in Louisville! Beautiful historic property and great staff. Hope to be back!

The hotel had great history.
Parking staff consisted of five people when we checked in, but only one person in the evening on New Years Eve. Unfortunately, people who were not paying guests of the hotel parked in valet parking. We paid $30 for valet parking and we had to park 1/2 to 1 mile away from the hotel and find valet parking staff for help. It took us 30 minutes to find the member to park our car. The only valet parking staff member working on a busy night had no idea she could tow unauthorized cars in valet parking. We do no suggest paying for valet parking or even stay at this hotel on a US holiday.
The location was great and central to many local shops. The CVS across the street was very convenient!
Waited 20 minutes at the front desk with no one there to check us in. When someone did arrive, they did not say anything other than asking for a license and ID. Did not greet or say anything. Was not smiling or pleasant.
The Staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and has a fun history. I highly recommend watching the history of the hotel that is on the hotel channel.
Our room was located where everyone gets on and off the elevator and by the room where the ice and soda is so it got loud when people were in these areas.
