Pros: A lovely room in a house right by the park and overlooking the Abbey and ponds. The hosts Erik and Denise were very friendly and helpful, and the facilities were excellent. This was our 4th visit to Leuven and we really wish we'd found B&B Park before now!
Cons: The bathroom(s) could have been a bit bigger (one en-suite and another just outside our studio door), but not too much of an issue. All in all it was an excellent stay.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location near the Grote Markt, good breakfast, clean and cozy room, and Carmen was extremely helpful with sightseeing tips and making sure our stay was comfortable.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We liked this guest house, a lot. It is in the historic centre and close to many tourist sites. When on holiday we prefer to stay in locally owned hotels rather than the big chains, and this hotel reinforced our decision. On arrival we greeted by Carmen, the owner, a lovely and charming woman. She carried our bags to our room on the second floor, despite our protestations to try and help her. My partner stayed in our room, but I had a cigarette with her in her charming garden. I felt I was talking to an old friend whom I had not met for many years. My husband also thought she was very charming, We stayed in the Isiah Room on the second floor. Both the room and bathroom were large, but watch your head on some of the beams. The bed was king sized with pleasant good linen. We felt the design of the room was fun, and it was very clean. Wi-Fi was fast, and the TV had many channels in different languages. When we stayed, Leuven was experiencing high temperatures, our room was hot but a fan is provided which helped. One tip, when in the bathroom, draw the window curtains. My partner enjoyed his breakfast, with plenty of local ingredients to choose from. On leaving we were given a hug by Carmen. If we are ever in Leuven we will come back, I suggest you need to forget the chain hotels and come here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely great place to stay. Carmen was very helpful, the breakfast was great, the room was really good and on top of that the location is also really good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Carmen, the owner is warm and welcoming to her guests. She goes out of her way. The property is centrally located.

Pros: Modern room with nice private terrace
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good and with fresh food. The location is outside the city center in a quiet residential area, but easily accessible by a bike provided by the hotel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was a very nice room, spacious, clean and bright. The staff is very polite and helpful with little tips about the city. The wireless internet connection was quite stable and fast, which was important for our online conference calls. Although it takes some time, we preferred walking between the hotel and the center and enjoyed it a lot. There also seems to be a free bicycle rental service of the hotel, which we did not use. One downside can be the lack of shops and restaurants around the hotel. But you can reach an area rich of shops with a walk of 15-20 min. Also, if you need some snacks or drinks in your room, you should better buy them in the supermarkets close to the center and carry them over.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Many variaties
Cons: Smell in the room from bathroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room. Free bikes. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Breakfast is not worth the money, but of course you can just skip that.

7.9 Good
Pros: Very convenient from the station and the city centre.
Cons: Some road works and building constructions around the hotel (i.e. near the market square) started from very early in the morning and very noisy.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location in the middle of the center, so especially if you arrive by train ideal. Great restaurant on the groundfloor. Room had everything waht you need, nothing special but comfortable. Take time for the breakfast, its awesome.
Cons: If you come by car parking is difficult. I arrived in the evening, and there is no separate entrance for hotel guests, the restaurant was packed so check-in took some time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous breakfast. V helpful staff.
6.7 Good
Pros: good breakfast, good location
6.3 Good
Pros: The breakfast was a nice spread, the staff was friendly, the room had appropriate equipment, the shower was great, fresh towels were provided every day.
Cons: The room was not very clean, e.g., space behind the sink was never cleaned. Sheets were not changed one time when they were dirty. The bed was highly uncomfortable, the pillow and sheet cheap, such that one sweated a lot during the night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good location close to the central train station. Copious and varied breakfast. Big room.
Cons: At the moment there is a big construction site outside the hotel. Therefore it gets very noisy early in the morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just a short walk from Leuven station. Hotel Mille Colonnes shared a same entrance to a fine dining restaurant. Feel a bit strange upon arrival but breakfast served at the restaurant was amazing. Wide variety of choices from bread varieties, cheeses, cold meats, smoked salmon with nice condiments, breakfast cereals, hot sausages, sunny-side eggs, pan-fried tomatoes, nice coffee and much more. Our room is very new, clean, and spacious. Although there is no air conditioner or fan, the room is very comfortable and quiet even though we have our window opened all night during our August stay. Not noisy at all.
Cons: No lift but comfortable stairs climbing. Weak wifi signal in my room, had to go down first floor for better wifi. Fantastic breakfast and coffee in a fine dining restaurant wins overall.
7.1 Good
Pros: Very good breakfast included in the price!
Cons: There is no hairdryer in the room. Being the hotel of a restaurant sometimes there is the smell of the food in the room.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was delicious and great value for the money overall. Safe and clean, that’s all I needed so nice breakfast was an added bonus.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Breakfast and location ok, also bathroom was good compared to the room itself.
Cons: Room needs renovation, old textile carpet, smelly. Reception desk was kind of integrated in the bar desk.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The venue serves with great style and ambiance as the hotel is set in the service buildings of a castle. Comfortable, large rooms are equipped so, that you can finish up work if needed. Kind service is just the cherry on the top. The breakfast was nice as well.
Cons: The lights in the rooms are more for ambiance than for practical use. In the larger room the shower curtain could have been cut shorter. This way it stayed wet and had a bit of smell. In the smaller room the bathroom could have used some more active care. (some parts missing here and there and the shower door showed some worn black spots. Some quick maintenance and all is perfect.) The breakfast could maybe use a bit more vegetables.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room, lovely staff, beautiful environs.

6.7 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: A reception girl yelled at me for walking through the common area for getting water while she's doing cleaning...even continued yelling and blaming after I said "sorry.."
5.8 Okay
Pros: Close to the central station and perfect for one night at the Rock Werchter...the staff was really kind.
Cons: No electrical outlets near to the beds. Bathroom and toilet are separate by floors so to start the day you have to go all over the house. Showers can improve the cleanliness as the rooms too.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Late check-in was no problem. Good value for money.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location! The staff members were very helpful. Free coffee and tea in the lobby until 8pm.
Cons: No Wifi in the rooms. They say that there is but it would be less frustrating if they had said that "no Wifi in the rooms", because it barely "works" (I wouldn't call it "working wifi"). Even the staff members acknowledge this, so apparently the management is okay with that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the best luxurious hostel. You can get any information by simply asking at the reception and they are very kind. You will definitely love this place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had booked 1 night, then decided to extend my stay by a 2nd night. Since my first booking was a "no change" booking, I had to make a 2nd booking for the 2nd night. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, great location, really amazing! I would book it again... for people who cant walk good should avoid this hotel as you have to walk a lot of stairs
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good Breakfast, Friendly efficient personell, Clean room and bathroom. Location was good, especially if you arrive by train (accross the square from the station)
Cons: No airco - It was 39C and we only had an electric fan- Very bad nights sleep. Room was up 5 flights of stairs in that heat with no lift - Definately not recommended for someone with problems climbing stairs - There were rooms on lower floors, but were more expensive.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very close to train station, nice house, nice room, good breakfast
Cons: Many stairs(No elevator), no AC
6.7 Good
Pros: It's good value, but the rooms are slightly run down. It's not the Ritz but you're not paying for the Ritz. Location is great, right next to the station (which is actually quite a nice area). Breakfast was nothing special, but there was plenty of it, and the cafe area is nice.
Cons: Shower was dreadful. Took 10 minutes for the hot water to start running.
7.9 Good
Pros: Large room and bathroom and good breakfast in the cafe below. Friendly staff when we checked in.
Cons: No lift, room on 3rd floor and no blind at bathroom window (which also didn’t close) Rooms across the street could see right in!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfest was very good and staff are very kind
Cons: There is no lift because its a historic building.
7.1 Good
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Tired poorly decorated room.
Cons: Room decoration
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, friendliness, cleanliness, breakfast with omelettes and scrambled eggs
Cons: A lot of stairs to climb, not a problem for us but prohibitive for people with mobility problems. Only a hairdryer on request
7.5 Good
Pros: The prompt assistance of the staff for the needs we had, specially for helping us to carry the suitcase to the room.
Cons: Carrying the suitcases up till the third the third floor, even with the help of the staff, with no lift in the structure is quite a task. I don't know if the fact that reception at restaurant desk are factually the same is due to any renovation ongoing, but for me which I've quite a long background in the hotel business, it's not the smartest solution, attention looked more focused on the restaurant than on the hotel gusts. Plus we had an issue with some plumber smell in the room the first night absolutely unbearable, and bathroom floor had a huge stain of humidity infiltration anyway. We got a free upgrade in a junior suite, only for the first night. But What would had been the solution if the hotel was completely booked? Luckily the issue was solved on the following day. Than when we came down for breakfast in the morning the waiter apologized with use because the coffee machine was out of order. I would say: Ok I appreciate the effort of the staff to solve any issue and provide to emergencies, but organizing for a real result is a different matter. I hope this feedback has been constructive.

Pros: The Penta Hotel is a nice hotel located in the center of Leuven, close to restaurants, bars and the likes. It is remarkably quiet in the rooms considering that location. Comfortable size room and decent room service.
Cons: The television wasn’t working properly and the staff tried little but basically left it. It wasn’t resolved during my five day stay. Slight letdown of service.

Pros: Location was on the doorstep of everything in Leuven
Cons: No dislikes at all! the property was perfect for our needs.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is just amazing, with a (paid) parking facility. The bar at the reception is a calm escape if you want to enjoy a Belgian beer in peace away from crowded bars in the city. The parking is a bit difficult, yet the hotel sends a messages with photo instructions how to reach the parking garage.
Cons: This is again one of the hotels were the reception is a bar and I always notice that this makes the staff super-busy to answer all questions.

Pros: Good value for money, 61 Euros for twin room with nice breakfast buffet. Parking garage below hotel. Excellent location in city centre.
Cons: Twin rooms were comfortable, but slightly too small as there were two queen size beds.
6.0 Good
Pros: We had a brilliant weekend rate. The hotel is a business hotel and our twin room was perfect for our needs. The breakfast was full self-service and plenty full. Leuven is a lovely place and the hotel is very well situated in town. We had a room out to the back which was blissfully quiet.
Cons: The receptionist on duty was not very welcoming - she seemed to class us by the rate we were paying and the rucksacks on our backs. Or she was just not enjoying her job.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was extremely central. THe breakfast was very good. Rooms spacious and clean. All required facilities present. The hotel staff were extremely helpful
Cons:

A stay at Getaway Studios Leuven places you in the heart of Leuven, steps from Ladeuze Square and 3 minutes by foot from M - Museum Leuven. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Modern spacious one studio apartment. Literally 5 min walk from cathedral. 10 min from train station .
7.1 Good
Pros: Modern and relatively new. Close to main sights of interest. Generally comfortable.
Cons: If quiet and silence is of top priority for you I guess this property is not fully appropriate. During our stay, apart from sounds coming from outside (which is understandable) our next door neighbours had a party. After that, I took a detailed look at the reviews and found that such things happen relatively often. The management of the premises obviously share the message that parties are not allowed but when there is not a 24h reception there is also no way to control peace and order in your facilities. Respect for peace and quiet remains just a simple wish. I do not find this fair because each and every guest should be treated equally as long as they pay the demanded tariff. I do not consider I have made the use I paid for at this property and I am disappointed. I will think twice if I will come again or recommend it.
7.1 Good
Pros: Basic studio as I expected.
Cons: The reception is only open 3PM to 8PM, so one is always a bit worried that the keycard will suddenly not work...happens.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Spacious and nicely decorated apartment.
Cons: No negative sides. Everything was fine and as expected.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very sizeable studio for one person. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Very good large shower. It was quiet and there was a nice view from the 5th floor. Great location in the centre of Leuven.
Cons: I was there in hot weather and the room was very hot at night, making sleeping uncomfortable. There is no air conditioning, and there is no netting on the windows or even blinds so you can’t open them at night if you don’t like insects coming in. There is fan but I didn’t find it to be much help. The bathroom sink seemed to be partly blocked.
5.8 Okay
Cons: The bed was quite terrible. The was a one person bed and a foldable bed/couch. Very uncomfortable to sleep in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Host was very friendly, very helpful and went over and above to meet our needs (travelling with infant). It should be noted on the booking.com site that they happily provided an infant cot.
Cons: Nothing

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Fourth stay. There is a reason I come back. Hotel is very well located in the main street of Leuven, near everything. Train station (1km), good shopping facilities and bar / restaurant area. We came late after receptiom was closed, but I just called the ring bell and door was opened after I identified myself. Key to the room was prepared at the reception desk. Nice. Very good breakfast with all you need. Lovely coffee. Friendly staff. Brussels approx 20 min train ride away and airport 15 min. Leuven is more relaxing then Brussels.
Cons: We had 4 bed duplex room at the very top floor of the hotel. Ok room with very comfy beds but it became a bit hot during the night even temperature outside at daytime was below 24C. Room had not air condition but a supplied fan made the air to circulate.

7.5 Good
Pros: Very easy hotel - with a nice breakfast - only a little walking distance to the center
Cons: The hotel is existing some years and needs to be renovated
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very well located, just 5 minutes from the railway station, close to the main shopping and tourist streets. It is also close to many bus lines what made attending my conference much easier. The building has a lift, very useful. The rooms are of a very good side, well furnished and clean. The bathroom was also clean. The breakfast offered was very good, quite a reasonable choice of food and drink.
Cons: One thing to complain was inadequate lighting in the room, really hard to read anything. I probably could also complain about the lack of any air-conditioning, although I'm aware that we have just happened to stay at the hotel during an unusually hot summer. I guess that under normal weather conditions for this region the lack of A/C is not a problem.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good parking possibilities
6.3 Good
Pros: Location good. Clean.
Cons: Small room with no air con was an unpleasant surprise. Its was 30 degrees in Leuven when we stayed so couldn’t sleep. Was given a fan but it did not help.
