Cons: Noris the car parking man at the front of the property, as he was busy and couldn’t handle the stress of his job his attitude stunk. One member of staff told us to leave the car so we parked up to then be told by noris that our car had to be moved as there wasn’t space and we had to go elsewhere.

Cons: awful dated hotel with terrible service, i asked for a charger and was told we don't have anything! the room was noisy, terrible voltage as my phone just wouldn't charge, and I tried several plug points. the worst part was having to hear the couple next door so clearly through the night, obviously having a good night! but I certainly wasnt- the walls are obviously really thin! terrible and would never recommend or go back.

Pros: We were visiting the Royal Armouries so the location was perfect, right next door. The price was very good and included a buffet breakfast with a good selection of hot and cold foods.
Cons: The heating thermostat in the room didn’t work, we were given an electric heater which eventually did the job. The foyer which housed the dining area and the bar were cold too so not comfortable. The blurb in the leaflet said any problems please use the handy phone in your room, there was no phone, staff said they’d been taken out, maybe temporarily.

Cons: On arrival, our room had a really foul smell, coming from the bathroom, smelled like a drain problem. We ran the water for a while and it eased it a little. We went out for the evening and when we came back the smell was the same again. We slept with the window open all night and in the morning it seemed to have improved.

I spoke to reception and they upgraded us to a executive suite no extra cost. Once we entered the room it was cold no heating on so rung reception and a male member of staff came to the room and looked at the air con said should come on in 1/2 hour if not let them know. Im sorry but paying for a 4 star night away in a hotel not really going to sit waiting to see if it works. Me and my wife went out for food and drinks came back entered the room around 10.45pm guess what room was freezing back down to reception spoke to the gentlemen on the desk who came up to sort it out . Basically offered to move us again or could bring heaters to the room. by this time id had enough discussing this issue and went back to the room got in to bed fully clothed . Then to top it all of woken up at 8.15am by drilling on the side of the building were work was being carried out …………….

Cons: I stay in Park Plaza (London Bridge ) and Riverbank often and they are both of much higher standard. I was disappointed with the low bed in the bedroom and also the dated interior. The TV didn’t work in that I was able to switch it on but had to manually change the channels because I had an error message “ this function is unavailable “ each time I tried to change the channel. My colleague was charged £10 at reception for breakfast. When I asked to pay for mine ( we checked in at the same time) I was told to sort it out in the morning- which I did but was then charged £10.95 for the same breakfast. We then found out that we were only allowed the continental breakfast which was cereal and pastry. It was no bother really but it seemed odd that the option wasn’t there. Also not sure why my breakfast was 95p dearer?!? I had stayed in Leeds Park Plaza a few years ago and I recall that I had a much better experience. I don’t often complain but I hope that this was constructive in the hope of improvement.

Pros: Wonderful Victorian frontage and modern comfort within. Perfect central location within walking distance of the station and museums, galleries, shopping etc. Helpful and friendly staff, attractive public areas, and my (single) room was much larger than I expected and very comfortable. And quiet! I would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Location is a bit out on a limb with busy and complex multi-lane roads to cross. A kettle would have been nice

Cons: Lack of facilities - no tea or coffee making facilities, no bathroom as the shower and sink were in the room which is very inconvenient for a twin room, tiny toilet so it was impossible to change in there. Hard beds which gave me back ache, no hairdryer, no wardrobe just a small rail on the wall. Continental breakfast was very basic and not worth the money. I understand this is a budget hotel but the cost we paid for one night was more than I pay for a premier inn in London which has much better facilities, beds and breakfast. I won’t stay in this chain hotel again.
