All amenities very good. Staff friendly.
I was put out to have chosen an item from room service and be told on ordering that there is a tray charge of £3.50. There is no mention on the menu itself. And that charge as a percentage of a single item is disproportionate. To cap it all, it took 45 mins to arrive and the pepper pot was empty! Please be more forthcoming on your point of sale material. Thanks
Everything was lovely. Receptionist Patrice was lovely when checking in :)
Slow service miserable staff expensive parking and poor bathroom.
Good hotel all round.
Nothing. Good hotel.
The hotel is close to almost all touristic locations, we were able to walk everywhere during our stay. The room was comfortable and spacious.
Inappropriate staff behaviour in several occasions, such disgrace for a global brand. There were core quality-related issues that they horribly failed as a world-wide famous hotels chain. Our first impression of the hotel was terrible thanks to the staff member at the reception. When we entered the lobby, he said "It suddenly stinks here", and while his colleague tried to save the situation, he continued and asked whether we try to sneak some food inside. What kind of a "welcome to our facility" is that? We were utterly shocked, didn't have any food on us except having just eaten in a restaurant and coming to the hotel afterwards perhaps with a little bit of restaurant smell. He made a totally unnecessary and inappropriate scene there alongside bizarre-rude jokes, and besides, embarrassed us for nothing! Is this really your way to greet your costumers? Moreover, when I showed him my ID, so that he could check my booking, he, yet again, acted highly unprofessionally, made some uncalled jokes, even went further and asked where I was really from despite my ID. When I asked him what he meant by all these, he replied that he was just being naughty(!). This was the most unprofessional, most inappropriate, offensive behaviour I have ever experienced in a globally known hotels chain. The staff member working in the spa facility did also seem like being hired just randomly. We obviously bothered him by just being there and having him give us some towels because he was busy busy with his mobile phone. The same thing happened when we were returning the towels and leaving the spa as well. No eye contact, not a smile, busy with his phone yet again. Almost all the supposedly warm food was served cold during our dinner. When we asked for some sauces such as ketchup, we received empty bottles somehow. Again, the staff seemed highly uninterested displaying one more time lack of training in professional service and customer relations.
