6.8 Good
Pros: Nice staff, has a bar, well stocked vending machines.
Cons: Blankets should be mandatory, an extra charge is crazy! Luckily a staff member gave me one for free when I protested
9.4 Excellent
Pros: cheap clean room, quiet. snacks and drinks available at reasonable price (for iceland) shuttle to airport available.. if you need to leave early in the morning this is a good location!! 10 min drive away. Although I did see a family dorm I would recommend this place for adults only, there is nothing at the hotel for kids here.
Cons: having bathrooms on a different floor than my dorm room being far away from the nearest local bus stop and not knowing where it was expense of taxi/shuttle to airport from close by... this is NOT AT the airport but some distance away, you cannot walk to it. Most tour buses only leave form Reykjavik so you have to pay extra to get there. ext time I will stay in Reykjavik to avoid extra cost of travel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to airport. Close to town, you need a car or transportation. They have Airport shuttle.
Cons: No lift . At times adjoins room occupants can be noisy
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The price was very cheap and location was very close to airport. The place was very unique and had a lot of history. Small room but that was okay as we were staying one night. I would recommend staying more than a day or two though.
Cons: Staff wasn’t the friendliest but were okay.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Close to airport and price. We wanted to rest before driving out to Iceland.
Cons: It looks like a college dorm.

Pros: The location is great, lobby seems nice also and there is so much space in the room. It has everything needed.
Cons: We could hear people from the room nextdoor (showers, sleeping, etc.)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: free shuttle and breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious place. Very nice staff.
Cons: Breakfast was not good but I understand because it was due to coronavirus outbreak.
9.0 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Early breakfast and close by airport
Cons: Washstand need to be fixed in the room.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Close to the Airport
Cons: It is a bed and breakfast but breakfast was not included. It was not even offered when I checked in at night. I went down to breakfast only to have to leave and pay $15 for a very subpar breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, the food was simple and tasty and the staff was friendly and helpful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was close to the airport and we had a private bathroom.
Cons: For US standards it was a little pricey.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: It is an old military dorm. They attempted to redo it, but it still had a dorm room feeling. There is nothing to do in that area. It is only benefit is it is close to airport. I regret stilling here more than one night. Our ceiling in restroom leaked.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We booked this place because it was close to the airport and we had an early flight. It is great that they start serving breakfast at 4am, so you can get feed before leaving. They also have an excellent airport shuttle service for free which only takes 10min! It is a great place to stay if you have to go to the airport early, but if you want to visit Reykjavik, it is too far (it takes 2 buses to get to the city).
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The value for this hotel and distance from airport is fantastic. The staff were super friendly and did everything to ensure our stay was comfortable.
Cons: Location to airport is airport is great. However surrounding area does not have much else.

9.1 Excellent
Pros: - Ideal for early/late flights - Early/Late Airport Pickup & dropoff provided - Bkfst started 3:30am
Cons: Location, while close to airport, is not ideal for much else.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: I was charged $93 as a single traveler. I had made the reservation thinking the price corresponded to the comfort level. It did not. This is a glorified hostel on the outskirts of town. It is in an old industrial type building away from the center of town. Very noisy with smelly bathrooms. Only 3 bathrooms for quite a lot of rooms... When I brought up booking.com for the date that I was there the price came up for $63. I brought this to the attention of the owner. I was being charged the price for a family room. He said that it was too bad, I had booked at that price. He was quite unfriendly and defensive about the situation. Bottom line: I was overcharged and told 'too bad', it was my fault for booking it at that rate. I travel through Iceland twice a year and have stayed in many guesthouses in Keflevic. I have had very good experiences with all except this one.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best place to the first or last day in iceland. They pick up us in the airport, and have free suttle to go there too. Fantastic place.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: When we check out about 04:30am We ready to get in shuttle bus N the staff guy don’t want to help us put luggage in car He just said “the door already open, u can put your luggage in “ When we arrived in airport he also doesn’t want help us ...... Excuse me We from TAIWAN !OK!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place to stay especially if you have a flight getting in very late or leaving very early. We were able to get picked up at Midnight and dropped to the rental car place early the next morning by the staff. Very comfortable and well looked after. Would definitely stay again!
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Good rate, easy accessibility from highway, near food options and near airport
Cons: Much farther from Reykjavik than I expected, good jumping-off site for airport but not for the rest of the country...
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely close to the airport. This place is perfect if you have to arrive at the airport very early in the morning. Staff is also constantly cleaning the toilets.
Cons: We wanted to open our window but there was a lock prohibiting it. Bit frustrating as there was no refrigerator in the room and we wanted to put a few beers to get cold outside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful, clean, spacious, unique
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful location 10 min to airport buffet breakfast
Cons: Breakfast room bit small for the amount of people
10.0 Excellent

Airport Hotel Aurora Star - Keflavik - Building
4
8.4 Excellent (4,531 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Airport Hotel Aurora Star is the most convenient place to start your journey around the natural wonder that we call Iceland. Being one of the most functional hotel you could find on the Reykjanes peninsula. Our hotel is only 100 meters from the Keflavik International Airport (KEF), making it an easy 3-minute walk to and from the airport eliminating all cost and hassle that comes with airport transportation, this combined with the restaurant and bar makes any trip outside the hotel unnecessary. Aurora Star is the only hotel or guesthouse close enough to the airport that you can travel to by foot. The hotel offers 72 rooms, single, double, triple and family rooms. Each room has a private bathroom, a seating area while also being very spacious with much room to make your trip home or journey as comfortable as possible. The rooms also include free Wi-Fi and continental breakfast.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: This is a nice hotel located 2 minutes from the airport. It is very convenient when taking a late or early flight. Beds were comfortable and place was very clean. Front desk staff was very kind and accommodating. There was an elevator for heavy suitcases (yes!), first hotel to have it since arriving in Iceland and staying in 7 different hotels. I was very happy with this hotel.
Cons: Only thing missing was tea/coffee and kettle in room, this would have been a nice touch.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was close to the airport terminal which was great at 3AM. I will stay at this hotel again.
Cons: I called GetA Room 3 times before I received an answer to my question. The answer came two days after my hotel stay, TOO LATE!!! I will never use this service again.
7.1 Good
Pros: Everything was as perfect as aspects and staff was very friendly! My only suggestion would be to have the proper sheets covering the mattresses as it was not a good look.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing, they did not want to change my booking as I requested in spite of the ongoing pandemic of COVID
Cons: Everything. Nothing, they did not want to change my booking as I requested in spite of the ongoing pandemic of COVID
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Vicinity to terminal
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It is very close to the airport, easy to walk. Clean and bright. Staff was efficient and friendly. If we needed something, towels or ice, the staff helped us. The breakfast was included and was delicious, both hot and cold. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: Could use an ice machine.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is perfectly located, it takes max. 5 minutes to walk f to the check-in hall which makes it the perfect choice for all travellers with early flights or late arrivals. The proximity to the airport does not bothering your sleep, I tested it on several occasions. The breakfast which is included is ok and allows you to grab a coffee or a bite before starting your flight home or your vacation. The hotel is a perfectly suited as starting or ending point of your trip and the car rentals are just around the corner. All the staff was very professional and friendly. We had to ask for another room because the window insulation seemed not perfectly airtight what made it noisy due to the storm winds at that evening. Nevertheless the receptionist was extremely helpful and relocated us to another room.
Cons: Sole downer, if you want to have dinner somewhere else you’ll need a car or a taxi.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The hotel is close to the airport (5 minute walk), that's why we chose to stay our last night in Iceland here. The rooms are big and comfortable. We had a nice bathroom, kettle, refrigerator and modern lighting in the room. We had a nice view over the airport from our 5th floor room.
Cons: The breakfast and dinner were a little disappointing, coming from a 3* hotel. From the moment we walked into the hotel, there was a strong chemical smell in the air. Maybe because of the Covid-19 disinfection measures. It gave me a dizziness in the morning after our night sleep.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Good value for the amount I paid. Location was within walking distance of the airport and rental car return.
Cons: No complaints.
1.0 Poor
Cons: No flexibility during Coronavirus.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: I showed up at midnight with my infant daughter. They helped take my bags to my room. They offered up a cot for her and immediately made it up with a nice clean sheet and baby duvet. There was a highchair in the dining area for her as well.
Cons: If I could have taken the pushchair from the airport to the hotel that would have been super helpful. I didn't ask though. Maybe you can?
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Location: 5 to 10 minute walk from Keflavik airport. Excellent Staff: I flew overnight and didn't account for the date change. Staff was very accommodating, changing my dates and even letting me check in early. Before we realized the error, they were happy to hold my luggage. Food: The breakfast buffet was just ok, but I enjoyed the chicken stir-fry at dinner. A seamless experience to land in the morning, store luggage, go touring for a day, then check an early flight out the next day.
Cons: Getting there: there is no side walk, so you must take a detour around the parking lot or walk more directly on the grass. This was more my/ reykjavik excursions fault: I asked the ticket woman from flybuss about the bus into the city, and she said every 10 minutes, I ended up taking my time at the hotel and missed the flybus. The next one would go 2 hrs later, missing my tour. I had to take a taxi. If you do drop things at the hotel, you should go back to the airport quickly as the last bus to the city tends to leave within 40 minutes of landing.

7.7 Good
Pros: Our room was large, clean, and quiet. Not elegant or romantic but spartan economical functional. Bed was cozy.
Cons: 2nd floor walk up. Besides that, it was great. Maybe there is an elevator we didn't see but we weren't feeling that lazy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The space was perfect for our last night in Iceland. We hit some bumps in the road with previous lodging on our trip, which is to be expected; however, it was quite relieving to walk into Bergas Guesthouse and be greeted with a friendly face and such attention to detail. The check-in process was the smoothest we experienced, our room was prepared and ready for us to walk in and fall into very comfortable beds to rest. We booked here because it was a short drive to the Blue Lagoon and minutes from the airport and we would be visiting both in the following 24 hour period. Perfect location, great price, lovely owners. Wish we could have stayed a little longer to explore the surrounding area and waterfront. I will definitely keep Bergas Guesthouse in mind for future trips.
10.0 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Pros: For the price it was great, very clean and an exceptionally friendly owner and perfect for a one nighter before catching an early flight the next day. We went to the Blue Lagoon, came back to the hotel and slept. It is pretty basic but was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed.
Cons: The area is the most scenic, but for a night that's fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel hosts were wonderful people, warm and welcoming. They made a great dinner suggestion for us and even phoned in the reservation, which was so nice after our long travel day. The beds were comfy and rooms very clean. We couldn't have been happier.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast with elastic hours, clean, basic room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good staff, good breakfast, room was fine :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Start hostel was clean, comfortable, rooms were generous and beds very comfortable. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and they start it at 4:30 to accommodate early flights. I booked this last minute to accommodate a 10 hour layover, and it was a great choice. The staff checked me in late (just after midnight) arranged my cab and provided a yummy breakfast. I would consider staying here if I did a layover in Iceland in the future.
Cons: It was a little further out than I liked - cabs cost almost as much as the hostel bed. But Iceland is expensive and this is minor. It is also expensive for a hostel bed. But it was toward the low end of the options, so this may just be a complaint that Iceland is expensive.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Beds were comfortable, room and bathroom were clean. Free tea/coffee 24/7 was a big perk. Very close to airport, stable wi-fi and free parking.
Cons: It was difficult to find, my GPS didn't register the hostel address as a real place so I had to use a map to find it.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely people who ran the hotel - they made us very comfortable and were very helpful with information.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facility was well kept and clean.
Cons: The breakfast selection.

Cons: Nothing to do in the neighborhood

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic buffet breakfast served starting at 4AM, the rooms were very clean and tidy, and the staff was super nice!
Cons: My only gripe is not about the hostel itself, but how even just a taxi from there to the airport cost me upwards of 20 euros! For just a 10 minute ride.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to the airport. Very clean and varied breakfast.
Cons: Because of the bus schedule, the trnasport options are limited. Not easy to get here if you want to walk. Only option then is the taxi.

There are slippers which you can were inside and also slippers for outside use - when you want to go to the pool in the garden. There is jug kettle in the room, tea and coffee. There is a dining room, where is the breakfast served and where you can hang out any time. There is beer and other cold drinks in the refrigerator in the dining room which you can take and pay later. You can also use plates and cutlery which are there. You can store your own food in the refrigerator. Impragmatic info - the whole guesthouse is really beautifull place, there is piece of art on every step, and the most important piece of mozaik are people who are running this place. Thank you, Yuki and Andy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a fantastic place and what a pity we arrived late and didn't stay here some more nights. Yukiyo and Andi made this a unique place and will make sure that your stay here is unique as well. We have never seen a place like this, with all its creative designs where every room has its own remarkable and cosy style. On top of that the hosts Yukiyo and Andi were very warm and welcoming which made us feel like visiting friends. Already before coming, we got lots of info and tips via internet from Andi. If ever we come back to Iceland, we definitely would come back here and make sure to take the time for it this time. The guesthouse is situated close to the airport and the blue lagoon, but you would want to enjoy the guesthouse and it's private hottub as well, so be sure to take the time for that.
Cons: We should have booked more nights to enjoy the guesthouse and its facilities and the hospitality of Yukiyo and Andi
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly hosts, made us laugh so much. Close to green motion car rental so was easy to drop off our rental car. Also close to restaurants, we had a lovely Thai meal. Quirky features in guesthouse, plenty to look at. On street parking, comfy beds, and shared lounge area with books e.t.c. Hosts are also very helpful if you have any questions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: How could have we dreamed a better place?! Such an outstanding hospitality from the 1st to the last moment :) I couldn't recommend more, this was such a memorable stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is very clean and unique. Endless interesting details and quirky designs. Everything has been thought through. The breakfast table is a feast and worth every krona. The hosts are one of a kind, so friendly, interesting and passionate about what they are doing. We will come back and we will be recommending this place to everyone spending time jn Keflavík.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The hosts here were absolutely wonderful. They picked us up from airport for no extra charge, were very accommodating to our odd travel times, and they even left personal bathrobes, house slippers, and pool shoes for us to use. The heated pool was AMAZING and we wish we could have spent more time here. I cannot recommend the breakfast option with your stay enough. Not only is it very worth it, but the hosts' cooking abilities were fantastic. Yuki makes fresh bread, and Andi's espresso skills are on-point. Best experience we had in all of Iceland, and we did A LOT of stuff, so I feel like that's saying quite a bit.
Cons: Nothing. We couldn't recommend this guesthouse enough. Absolutely a highlight of our 9 days in Iceland.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Andi and Yuki are great hosts. They even successfully persuaded my mum to get in the heated pool. The place is beautiful and this is the 2nd time we've stayed at 1x6 and we will stay again on our next visit. When you come to England please visit us in York! W
Cons: Not having booked the guesthouse for more than one day!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff, perfect rooms, a coffee place upstairs, a super nice hot springs in the garden!!
Cons: Nothing
Diamond Suites - Keflavik - Bedroom
10
8.8 Excellent (13 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Diamond Suites is a luxury five star boutique hotel. The interior features luxury furniture only and each area and suite is individually designed. Diamond Suites is located in the magnificent Reykjanes Peninsula including the Blue Lagoon, geothermal hot springs and magnificent caves to explore.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are lovely, the rooms are amazing and the breakfast service to the top floor was really nice!
Cons: The suite with hot tub is the only room advertised as having a hot tub in the facilities. It turns out that the two hot tubs are communal to all who stay in Diamond Suites and not exclusive to the room as the description would suggest.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: First of all I would like to say how beautiful the room was and how friendly ball the staff where couldn't do enough to make our stay even more special then it already was, the hotel was kind enough to upgrade us to there best room for our stay due to mine and my wife's to be engagement. And even with the small problems i listed infant recommend this hotel enough, we will be staying here from now on each time we return to Iceland. Thankyou
Cons: Before I put dislikes over all I would like to say this was a fantastic stay and these are only very little things, purely to try and help other people work around on there visit. 1st I had pre ordered a few treats to be in the room and only some things where there others I had to ring up but was soon sorted by the staff so no problems. 2nd the breakfast you pre order and leave it hanging on your door both mornings a few items where missing but apart from that it didn't make much difference and was lovely. 3rd it could be a little noisy I found this down to every time someone closed a door in one of the other rooms it would shake our door and make some noise in the day this is fine but at night woke me up a few times.
5.0 Okay
Pros: A well appointed set of rooms with good potential
Cons: The hottub with the room was too cold to stay in for any length of time, and there were noise issues given the communal area and all floors being tiled. We were also checked into the wrong room on arrival and had to wait for the room to be prepared
7.5 Good
Pros: The quality of the rooms and the staff were very good. Rooms were well equipped and stylish and plenty of comfortable towels, robes and slippers provided. Views were good and the hotel was situated close to local restaurants.
Cons: Despite having access to 2 hot tubs and a jacuzzi bath none of them functioned properly. The hi-tech system was initially impressive but failed to work. Panels on the baths and hot tub inside our suite would never work in order to activate temperature and jacuzzi jet controls. The private hot tub outside was cold and incomprehensible with no instructions. We called room service to help but it became clear this was a new system to the hotel and they were as clueless as we were despite being very polite.

Pros: The host was super friendly and gave us helpful advances. Convenient distance to drive to KEF airport.
Cons: Nothing to mention.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really comfortable, easy transport to the airport arranged for us. Self-service food and drink.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 7minute drive from the airport. Breakfast included and comfortable beds. Airport transfers are also offered. This is fantastic value for money!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect, only few minutes drive to the airport and it offers free shuttle to pick up from and to the airport. We just have to inform when checking in if we require the shuttle for the next day. The self service breakfast is also a plus point. Meaning we can still have breakfast eventhough our flight is early morning. The kitchen is fully equipped should we want to cook dinner.
Cons: We had to call the owner when we reach the property as the place was empty. Luckily they dont lock the door so we dont have to wait outside. Would be great if we can whatsap the owner instead of calling as not everyone purchase local sim card. Will be great if there are rooms with private bathroom as well.
6.0 Good
Pros: Taxi service to airport very useful. Communal kitchen and self service breakfast gave good flexibility.
Cons: Our room door was difficult to lock / unlock. Emails from hotel were promising re helpfulness but didn’t actually contain much info and staff unable to help when asked.

Pros: Very friendly, comfortable and clean place.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice, clean B&B- cosy stay. Very warm inside (important aspect when travelling in winter to Iceland) Very nice and responsive owners, the free one way pick-up to/from the airport is a very nice touch, it definitely eliminates a lot of the preparation stress. Good location in Keflavik town- you can easily reach by food supermarkerts, shops, restaurants. The breakfast is self-service from the kitchen and the fridge items- great idea considering that this way you are not limited to certain hours and you are able to have a quick bite even before a very early departure.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Decent breakfast and one-way airport ride were helpful.
Cons: Extremely small private room and very loud with others staying nearby and in common area. No staff onsite when attempting to check in either and no note. Had to wait an hour for someone to give the key to my room. Fairly expensive for what is provided, even for Iceland.

Pros: Great guesthouse on/from the way from Keflavik airport. We arrived late evening, tired after the journey and the place was very near. Although we have never met the host, everything was ready for us just as we booked including instructions in case we needed anything particular. Breakfast is self-service and there was a lot to choose from, the whole place was very clean and comfortable for a short stay. Close to the shore, if you feel like a nice walk. Definitely recommended and once we are back to Iceland, it will definitely be our choice again! Thank you!

Pros: This guesthouse is a couple of minutes from the airport. The owners are friendly, helpful, and accessible. The house has three separate bedrooms with a shared hallway bath. The room we were in is a spacious one bedroom with a private bath. It has a full kitchen and a stocked for breakfast. It is in a quiet neighborhood, but within one block of all of the small-town offerings. The guesthouse is under 45 minutes from Reykjavic and about 20 minutes from the blue Lagoon.

There are slippers which you can were inside and also slippers for outside use - when you want to go to the pool in the garden. There is jug kettle in the room, tea and coffee.

7.0 Good
Pros: It was really beautiful decor, nice room, very clean. Breakfast was nice. Very good price.
Cons: It was having renovations done around the reception/breakfast room that was deathly loud. But obviously that’s temporary. The lady at the reception wasn’t very welcoming.
7.0 Good
Pros: location lots of car parking
Cons: was in the process of a refurb, drilling stopped at 7.30pm started at 9 am so that wasn't good... it was stated on the hotel website but not on booking.com so that was annoying... but as it was a 1 night stop not really an issue for me, estimated over by June 2020
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was nicely appointed and large. It had the basics and a nice bathroom. We would likely stay again.
Cons: The construction was a bit much. Granted, they did stop at a decent hour but it was constant during the day and you felt and heard it in the room.

4.0 Okay
Pros: Location was great.
Cons: One tiny blanket in the room to sleep with. It's winter and the blanket was suitable for summer at it's best. The room was incredibly small. Nobody approached me for ages when I was checking out / checking in.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location - just a 10 minutes drive from the Keflavik airport. In the center of the town. Overlooking water. Good value for money
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice enough place. Only booked for the airport shuttle.
Cons: Booked airport shuttle for 6am the day before, to be told at 6am the next day that the receptionist had not booked it and that I would have to pay for a taxi. After a bit of kicking off the guy on the desk managed to sort this out and got us to the airport on time. But I had to tell him to get on the phone and sort it out, as he seemed to think that telling me repeatedly that the guy had not booked it and he couldn't help was an acceptable answer. This lead to little stress that we would be late for our flight.
6.7 Good
Pros: If flight is cancelled - good bolt hole - close to airport
Cons: Very noisy other guests and staff didn’t do anything to shut them up
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed this hotel because we have early flight next morning. The room is large and clean. Very comfortable bed. There are café, restaurants, bars and markets. Nice hotel !
Cons: In front of our room, there is a bar. It was Saturday night, so until 3am, very noisy...
7.9 Good
Pros: Close proximity to the airport
Cons: Lots of noise in the hallway from other guests and poor breakfast options
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were wonderful. They picked us up at the airport late at night and took us directly to the hotel, where they showed us to a lovely, clean room that was tastefully decorated. Our window faced the ocean for a fabulous view, and the owners were incredibly helpful and kind. They made arrangements for us to visit the Blue Lagoon on our way to the airport the following day and made everything very easy for us. The included breakfast was well stocked with fresh food. We would definitely stay there again!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to the ocean. The views. Comfortable. Clean.
Cons: It might be a cultural difference, but some of the staff seemed to a bit on the brash side.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nice simple rooms. Nice tv.
Cons: Bathroom has a musky smell that carries into the room. It’s listed as 24/7 but they locked the door at like 9pm. They listed having a free shuttle to airport but I had to ask about it. As they kept pushing for me to take an expensive taxi ($40+ CAD) for a 6 minute ride. The website states a 12pm checkout but made me check out at 11am. Overall, I went on a 10 day trip and this was by far the worst hotel experience I had and was one of the more expensive ones.
4.0 Okay
Cons: no lift. no aircon. breakfast sched is bad as well as choices for food. customer service was bad.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Had a great first night in Iceland at this hotel. Nice staff, great room and an amazing view. Can't beat the value for the price. Simple amenities, but didn't need them anyways.
