10.0 Excellent
Pros: Property owner, Gabriele, is a wonderful person who is very helpful and friendly. He is ever ready to give tips on dining and assist in any matters. His warm hospitality is definitely a boost to our stay! The hotel is well-maintained and breakfast on the rooftop is a pleasant experience with a decent spread. Would definitely come back if we visit Monterosso!
Cons: Nothing.
7.5 Good
Pros: The owner of the hotel was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and directions. The rooms, though "basic", were very clean and orderly and the view was wonderful. We were upgraded for our honeymoon to the top floor with probably the best view and though it rained during our stay, we still had a wonderful time! The breakfast was also really nice, and the cappuccinos were delicious!
Cons: The bathroom was pretty tiny, but I think that is typical of most Italian hotels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Can't rave enough about the Sella Della Marina...The owner was on hand to make sure anything we needed was attended to. He gave us many helpful suggestions too. The entire place was pristinely clean and comfortable. FANTASTIC location. Breakfast was wonderful with terrific views too! We can't wait to come back.
Cons: Can't find anything negative.

Pros: Very beautiful views. Owner Marta was very accomodating when our train was late. Rooms are very clean and the grounds around the B and B are spectacular. Bonus was availability of a shuttle up and down the hill at no charge.
Cons: Room and bathroom were very small and there was little storage for clothes. We will book a larger room next time and stay longer than the 2 nights we were there.
6.0 Good
Pros: The views and the actual property were very nice The breakfast was good with cooked eggs to order and the shuttle down to the village was punctual and very helpful
Cons: The rooms are very Sam all, hard bed and the bed cover wseemed old and unattractive I think if she invested in some nice fresh duvet covers rather than burnt orange worn velvet it would totally update the room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic views and great staff.

Pros: EVERYTHING! This place is right smack in the middle of paradise on earth. Marta upgraded our room for free as she had a last minute availability and we were on our honeymoon, the breakfast is incredible, and as a huge bonus the owner took our 2 weeks of dirty laundry and washed/folded it for us even though the service was over for the year as they were closing for the season the following day! We WILL be back here and we will be staying at Il Parco for sure!

Pros: The last time we stayed here was 18 years ago. It was wonderful then. It is wonderful now. The room on two distinct levels with the fully artistic ceiling is a gem.So are the lovely couple who own the property
Cons: As cars are not permitted in the center of the town, you almost have to park in the public garage, and at $35.00 per night this is double any other town in Italy which we used for the same purpose.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Truly charming, old-world decor (amazing breakfast room and balcony/terrace overlooking the town) immerses you in the ambience of Italy. Comfortable and clean, and only about a 15 minute walk from the train station. Breakfasts were excellent - an array of delicious cereals, fruit, breads, cheeses, pastries, very attractively served, and accompanied by wonderful cappuccino. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely return to this lovely inn.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about our stay! We were greeted warmly by Stefania at check-in. We stayed in a suite with the loft & enjoyed having a comfortable sitting area. Everything was super clean, the bed was comfortable, we loved the pillows, the bathroom was modern & sparkling. We enjoyed breakfast & also snacks available later in the day. Giovanni was a wonderful host each morning at breakfast (tasty cappuccino) and the terrace is a beautiful place to begin the morning, as well as to relax after a day of hiking. Giovanni gave us great advice about hiking the Cinque Terre and helped us get our tickets for the park. The location is perfect & we will definitely stay here again when we return to this area!

It offers en suite rooms with free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. Rooms combine classic-style furnishings and wood-beamed ceilings with design bathrooms. 9.2 Excellent
Pros: 1. Location - in old part of Monterosso. Close to restaurants and shopping. About 10 min walk to train that was easy with roller bags. 2. The hostess was very helpful and extremely nice! 3. Room had an air conditioner that worked
Cons: 1. Not a problem for our group, but potential for others - be aware of the steep stairs 2. Due to central location in the town, there was not a view of the water (which we understood)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming room and well appointed bathroom. Location excellent.
Cons: Breakfast was supplied by the bar under Bellambra rooms and was average. Had to ask a rather disinterested barista to make coffee. 3 flights of stairs with suitcases.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had two flats for 3 people. Mistake. Both were grand. If I was to have a family get together I would get one, on the 1st floor, beautiful kitchen, sleeping bunks, beds and sofas. Comfortable for at least six. 8 out 5 star for a multi day big family stay.

Pros: It was a good continental breakfast. Not part of premises but just downstairs
Cons: An iron and ironing board would have been excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The welcome and kindness of owners Lorenzo and Hedda! We were upgraded to huge room which was perfect for us as we are travelling for some months so was nice to have extra space. The bathrooms are exceptional and by far the nicest we have experienced in Italy in 6 weeks... the shower huge, spacious and very clean. Beds comfortable and the whole property was very clean... with cleaner coming daily like a hotel. Double glazed windows keeps it very quiet at night if you prefer. Property is close to all restaurants, shops and beach in old town.... sits above a beautiful wine bar with exceptional wine tasting and food platters. Thank you Lorenzo and Hedda!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant introduction to the room. We were having a wine tasting right outside Bellambra, so I can't say the short wait was unpleasant ;)

Pros: There really aren't any facilities and for the price, breakfast should be included but this is Italy and it does not often work that way. That said, the location was okay depending on if being a bit away from the train station is okay with you. The room size acceptable, the staff quite good and Monterosso quite nice.
Cons: Everything was expected although if you have a heavy suitcase it is a long walk from the station.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a lovely place in the quiet area away from the crowds and tourists. It has its own parking place which is very important when you travel to Cinque Terra by car. Upon arrival we were given a lot of information about the area and what to do there and where to find different places. We were also given a choice of 2 rooms, which was very nice. The room which we selected was fairly big and nicely decorated. The breakfast room was rather small but cheerful and very nicely set up with colorful china. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of food items, cold cuts, cheese, fresh fruit, delicious fruit salad, yogurts, juices and amazing croissants. We were provide beach towels when we wanted to go swimming. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was a lovely patio in front of our building with comfortable outdoor furniture where you could rest and relax among lemon trees. As we were leaving we were given a small bottle of limoncello as a gift, which was a very kind and thoughtful gesture.
Cons: It’s a minor thing but personally I didn’t care for the toiletries provided. They were good and most likely in the eco friendly packaging but it was very hard for me to open those packets of shampoo and shower gel. Luckily I had scissors ✂️ with me which I started to use to cut the packets open. I had no problems with the bars of soap provided.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing. You're surrounded by lemon and olive trees. Fredericka is so lovely and gave us a bottle of home made limoncello. The room was gorgeous with a balcony overlooking the vineyards and mountains. Everything was so clean and the mini bar is free. Breakfast was good. waking up here wad the perfect start to each day! Loved it
Cons: It is a tough slog to get up that mountain. You need to be semi fit.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Can’t recommend Le Giare highly enough. Immaculate, well presented room, in a beautiful location nestled in the hill above Monterosso’s new town. The staff were friendly, and happy to answer questions about the Cinque Terre and recommend good places to eat. They also offered a taxi service to/from the station, which I didn’t need actually, because it’s only a 10-15 minute walk from the train station (though it is quite hilly!)

Pros: The room and bathroom were large and comfortable. Just outside the room was a patio with an amazing view among lemon trees. A few steps away was where breakfast was served. The breakfast was delicious with cappuccino made to order. It was about a 15 minute walk to the town. At checkout, we received a small bottle of their homemade limoncello.

Pros: The service for this place was outstanding! Upon arriving, they gave our group of 4 welcome drinks (along with an extra bottle to take back to the room), and let us sample some incredible pesto. They recommended places to eat for dinner, and overall we really enjoyed their hospitality. The breakfast was great as well, included fruit and yogourt, which most places do not. Our room for 4 could have slept an additional person plus had a baby cot included.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Cherry was amazing. She accommodated to all of our needs. We were 4 girls backpacking Italy on a budget, but our stay felt like a real treat! The room was amazing, and the included breakfast was probably the best we've ever had. I will recommend this to anyone and everyone who tells me they're traveling to Cinque Terre!

Pros: Beautiful setting among the trees and palms

Pros: The room we’re in - the Attic!
Cons: The wonderful breakfast was over-rated and the much talk about dinner servicing local cuisine ??? I was informed the restaurant was closed 2 weeks back... so where did those reviews on the 19 Oct come from when I was there in the 24th ??? Are we talking about the same hotel?

Cons: nothing. we were satisfied with everything and will recommend the hotel to our friends
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great with lots of selections. The view down to the beach of Monterosso is just spectacular! We took advantage of the many options of sitting to enjoy the view and have a glass of wine (purchased on site) while watching the sunset. You can see the lights of the 5 cities making up the Cinque Terre from this location.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the balcony sea view we had, was just amazing. We were prepared for the 800m hike up and down the hill to town which we loved as we like to walk, but used the shuttle which was available once an hour when we couldn’t walk up another hill, very convenient. All the trails were close by and this was definitely the best town to be staying near. Great beach, shopping and restaurants etc.
Cons: We only rated the facilities down slightly because the tap on the sink got stuck and when you turned it on sometimes came on way too fast and splashed all over you - also used the plug once and it would open to let the water out, but all small things. The only time the hill was annoying was our last day when it rained so all the restaurants/cafes were full and the transport had just left so had to traipse up the hill in pouring rain in our little ponchos... small price to pay for all the other good things though!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was amazing!!
Cons: The beds were thin and so were the blankets, it got a tad cold at night.
7.9 Good
Pros: . The view from the balcony was amazing and the shuttle services is very professional and helpfully.
Cons: We paid a see-view room and they provide us an non see-view room, trying to convince us that the balcony extension has a see view and make me pay extra 10 euro per day for having a normally see-view room.. They close the Hotel from 2 am to 6.30 am. If you would like to get out in this time period, you cant. it is not mentioned in their terms before the booking. It is hidden condition. They do not refill constantly empty croissant and " prosciutto crudo " containers . The lady in black in the breakfast room was every time angry with the young ladies working there.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The sea view looked out from balcony is fantastic. We arrived a day earlier than we’ve booked, the hotel upgraded the room type and it was very nice. The hotel is located in the middle of hill, but free shuttle bus is offered. We don’t feel the location is inconvenient. The young lady who served breakfast is nice, warm and polite.
Cons: The room carpet that we stay for the 2nd night. It looks worn and
8.8 Excellent
Pros: You can see this hotel from almost any of the other 5 villages, the lone highest hotel on Monterosso's hillside. The view from our room was stunning, and the shuttle bus made it really easy to get back up to the room after a long day exploring.
Cons: Breakfast was basic and could definitely be better, and the rooms are definitely outdated (but this seems to be common in the old towns of Cinque Terre).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic, lots of selections. Good service. Location was unbelievable, great view, beautiful areas to sit and look at the view. Shuttle into town was very easy and convenient.
Cons: only price could have been better, but still good for the price.

Freshly made croissant and the rest are cold breakfast such as cereals etc. Room was excellent. Clean and comfy. Location is perfect. Only 2-3 minutes to the beach and 5-8 minutes walking to the train station.
Cons: Parking is a bit far. They could change the TV to newer one as ours was out of colours.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff went out of their way to help, we had early departure & they arranged a coffee machine & supplies in our room night before. How close to train station it was.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Monterosso al Mare is the pearl of Cinque Terra, very clean, renovated houses, sea, mountains, who could ask for more. The stuff tried way and beyond to welcome and assist us. The room had a mixed sea and colored building view, a nice balcony and the whole experience was fantastic. I was only sorry that I didn't book longer stay in the premises.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If breakfast buffet is out of something, e.g. the fresh fruit or juice, just ask. Gluten-free bread available for the asking. The Cinque Terre is inundated with cruise ship passengers during day. The evenings after they leave are most enjoyable. Get out early for boat tour and hikes before they destroy the ambiance.
Cons: If breakfast buffet is out of something, e.g. the fresh fruit or juice, just ask. Gluten-free bread available for the asking. The Cinque Terre is inundated with cruise ship passengers during day. The evenings after they leave are most enjoyable. Get out early for boat tour and hikes before they destroy the ambiance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, modern and renovated. It was like being in your own home and great to have parking at your door and an outside courtyard. I have noticed in past reviews comments about the smell of cigarette smoke, and the loft did smell of smoke, however I suspect it is due to neighbouring apartments' second hand smoke wafting through, which is unfortunate as it gives a smell of smoke to the apartment. However, it was a great little loft studio, completely stocked with coffee machine & pods, towels, slippers and a modern kitchen and bathroom, so we were very happy. Breakfast down at the main hotel area was great and scrambled eggs cooked to your request.
Cons: Low ceiling on the top loft, so you have to be careful to not hit your head on the metal beams.
5.1 Okay
Pros: we have stayed in a different location than the main building . It was a small studio with small kitchen, small bathroom. The room had no view. the queen bed was located in the mezzanine with a 5.3 ceiling. We had an excellent breakfast was in the main building
