They apologized and they did it as unobtrusively as possible The hotel had bikes available free to the guests Unfortunately they were booked up the twice we asked but its a great idea and we later hired bikes for the day in Seville

Cons: Extremely hard beds. We stayed 4 nights and we actually got used to them. Smell of smoke in corridors from other rooms. Sometimes bad smell in rooms from toilets. Pool area is in the car park and very small. Pictures give of a bigger pool. Car park is extra 10e per night

Cons: The room offered a ‘pillow menu’ but it should have had a mattress menu - never had such a solid mattress in a hotel. Room was duplex or split level but upper half lounge window could not be opened for through ventilation. The two wall hung across units were hopeless. The street was noisy outside with a 24/7 gym. The breakfast was very ordinary except for the good orange juice and rolls. The seasonal pool was closed (end Sept) and didn’t pay extra for the ‘small spa’. Garden area was small and in shade pm.

I particularly liked the orange squeezer, which allowed for fresh fruit juice each morning, and the coffee machine. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent, being right next to the main shopping centre and within easy walking distance of the old town. So, it is possible to stroll through the streets, enjoy a nice meal, do some sightseeing, visit a bar in the evening to sample the local sherry and then return for a good night's sleep.

So easy to drive to and trip off from as it by the main road (some people perhaps wouldn’t like this but it suited us much better than navigating unfamiliar old and one way streets and/or looking forward a car park space) Jerez has lots of lovely sights and we also visited Arcos de la Frontera, Cadiz,El Puerto de Santa Maria,Rota, Sanlucar and Chipiona in our 4 day stay (previously we have stayed here and visited Tarifa, Seville, Conil, Bolonia, Vejer and plenty of beaches- As you can tell we think it is a great base to explore from esp at the low price.

Cons: The air conditioner barely worked. They claimed to be a 20 minute walk downtown, which was sort of true, but it was 20 minutes to the outskirts of town through a fairly seedy area.

Our room was small and our shower room smaller, but we had plenty of hot water whenever we needed it and our bed was very comfortable. Pros: I felt as if I had been invited to stay in an ancient, Spanish, two courtyard town house. Our room was small and our shower room smaller, but we had plenty of hot water whenever we needed it and our bed was very comfortable. Tho' not IN the old town, we were only a five minute walk away, and close to the station which made the trip with the backpacks easy.

Pros: The property is in a brilliant location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is very basic, but you are getting what you pay for. The bathroom is fine and the shower is quite good once you work out the temperature. Don’t expect many toiletries in the room. We had a very flat pillow which we found very bothersome but the staff were happy to oblige when we asked for more pillows.

Cons: The walls are very thin. When your neighbour does anything in the room next door you can hear it (I.e. plugging an electrical item into the wall, sneezing etc). On our first night, there was a lot of noise coming from the building which completely ruined our sleep and was very frustrating. If we are staying more than two nights in total I would have complained and asked for a refund. The current reviews on booking.com do not reflect the extent to which the walls are too thin and is a really unfortunate negative about this hotel. The bed is very uncomfortable which caused a disrupted sleep anyway. The plug holes also seem a little dodgy.

Cons: We had to make at least 10 visits to reception before we got settled.First couldn't find room sign did not show our room number and our room was accessed via a patio window across a ramp but no signage no key for light 5 trips for remote for air conditioning and then no towels until 20.30.We were on a very short visit to Jerez and it was spoilt by the problems encountered

Cons: The underground car parking was so tight to enter and proceed we scraped the wall on the passenger side scraping our new car all along the door trying to manoeuvre our way down the ramp. We only have a small car but completely damaged now. No tv remote or a/c controls in room. No view. Twin beds pushed together instead of double bed. No hotel information pack in room. No quilt/bed comforter only a sheet (in Oct.) there was one blanket in wardrobe which partially covered the beds. The starkness of the room, no pictures or any kind of feature.

Cons: We booked for 2 rooms were AC. We got one room the first night w NO AC in 95-97 degree weather. They changed our rooms 3 times and we never got AC. The halls had barely functioning lights at night! WiFi was non existent in rooms and spotty in reception area. Police were called because people were so upset with double bookings and lack of AC.
