9.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast selection. Beds were very comfy and you can order exactly the sort of pillows you like.
Cons: There weren't many restaurants near by . We had to walk in to the old town for a bigger choice of places to eat.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Location is a 20 minute walk to city centre or 5 euros (inc tip) taxi. they have their own secure car park and swimming pool. Hotel desk were far more helpful than normal even suggesting where to take the taxi to avoid a one way system that took ages and only gained a 100 yards from their suggested drop off point. They also made several suggestions for entertainment which proved to be much better value than the local tourist office were suggesting. All in all I would go back here in an instant
Cons: Just one problem with the room safe which , to be fair , they fixed. But it took a while getting parts and a replacement programmer which was a bit of a pain.
6.7 Good
Pros: The personnel is the best asset. Facility ok but need some refurbishment
Cons: The 2 bad instead of 1
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is special. The staff were friendly and service excellent. Big room, comfy bed and big bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and double shower and twin sinks. Enjoyed drinks on the patio each night before bed, after long days in Jerez. Loved it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Room comfort, high quality bed, spacious And clean bathroom, professional and friendly staff providing valuable advice on activities planning, good breakfast, safe parking on premises, garden with pool
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely pretty hotel; spacious clean rooms, huge terrace, lovely pool, outdoor eating, wonderful food, excellent staff and good location. 10-15 min stroll into centre. Staff were best I’ve come across in Spain! Couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Loved this hotel and will definitely return.
Cons: Nothing. (The only negative we can think of was a selfish guest slamming their bedroom doors at 1am). Cannot fault the hotel!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious room, comfortable bed and very quiet.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff, style, cleanliness and gardens
Cons: Restaurant could be a bit better but still very good
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness and service of the staff was second to none, could not be faulted and the added touch of being greeted at check-in with a glass of sherry was very welcoming. The room was very spacious, cleanliness good and very frequent change of towels - we had a roof terrace overlooking the pool and gardens which was just wonderful and free mini-bar too. Ease of parking on site and free of charge was an added bonus. We had room only so only ate snack food on the terrace overlooking the pool which was very relaxing, beautiful surroundings and great food/service. The location near to some of the more residential restaurants and bars sharing local food and ambience was fab - La Tasca, Bodosky, Marisqueria Gran Avenida - all very good and good value too. Breakfast nearby at the local market square (turn left from hotel) and beers near hotel (turn right from hotel) all great too! Just round the corner too from the Andalusian Equestrian School - so whilst the city centre walk was a bit lengthy on occasions (15 mins walk) there was still plenty of amenity available near to the hotel.
Cons: The location to the city centre was a 15-20 minute walk which was ok initially but became tedious as our week's stay went on, however this was just a small gripe and the fact we could get a taxi into the centre for just 5 Euros overcame this issue and there is a great selection of amenity (bars/restaurants) near to the hotel that are less touristy.

7.1 Good
Pros: Located beside the escuela de equitation de Andalucía and free parking
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel offers a great breakfast buffet. The location is quite central.
Cons: The floor could be cleaner so I could walk with socks without getting them dirty. Room service would not need to open the room's door without knocking before 9:00 AM on a Saturday. Ordered a taxi at the hotel reception and I was charged 4,50€ extra by the taxi driver. If I knew it I would have ordered an Uber.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well, everything was just perfect. Loved the comfortable bed.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was perfect. Food was good. Service was great. Lovely atmosphere. Yes I would go there again.
Cons: We had a confirmation that we could checkin between11 and 12. We arrived at 12 and they said that we could check in but we couldnt have our roon since it wasmt ready. There had been a confusion and we didnt get our room till 2. Waste all morning because we couldnt go to the spa early. They gave us drinks on the house
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The setting and surrounding was nice but the villa we had was infested with Ants, and the breakfast was cold.
Cons: The villa we had was infested with Ants, and the breakfast was cold on the first Morning so didn’t even bother going down the second one. When we called reception about the ants we were told that the cleaner would look into it when they arrived, and not offered an alternative. We went to a wedding and came back to find the infestation even worst than the morning time. Did to being late we had to sleep in the lounge sofa as the bedroom was where in infestation was worst although we saw ants in the other rooms to but nowhere near as bad as the bedroom. Whilst checking out, I told the receptionist, and all she had to say was really!! Simply devastating service, would not recommend this Hotel to anybody...terrible experience

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, especially at breakfast. Good location, comfortable beds, quiet location. Good breakfast, nice coffee.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room we got
Cons: The room that we first got
7.0 Good
Pros: Very nice, clean beautifully decorated hotel.
Cons: Service at breakfast was poor. No one around for a second cup of coffee
7.9 Good
Pros: This hotel is located in the heart of Jerez de la Frontera, which means everything, like cathedral, restaurants, shops and Sherry bodegas are in walking distance.
Cons: In our opinion, the restaurant and breakfast room were not very inviting. There is a small breakfast buffet with limited options. Toast, butter, jam and juice are served to the table and you can order other things like eggs any style. It would have been nice to see, what else they could do, but without a menu, we couldn’t find out.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Historical building in the Old Town
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel in an old, representative building. Very representative entry hall, friendly staff at the reception. Nice room, well furnished, quite. Very centrally located. Access with car to the hotel is easy, parking might be more difficult. We prolongated our stay in the hotel by one night and would go there again when being in Jerez.
Cons: Our room was on the 2nd floor, from the 1st floor to the 2nd we had to take the stairs (not really a problem).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location big rooms
Cons: Unfortunate smell of drains in first room - but hotel happy to move us.
B&B La Fonda Barranco - Jerez de la Frontera - Bedroom
5
8.9 Excellent (345 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at B&B La Fonda Barranco in Jerez de la Frontera (Jerez de la Frontera Old Town), you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Bodega Pedro Domecq and Jerez Cathedral. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff couldn't have been more helpful when a medical problem affected my partner, travel, translating (I only speak english), packed lunches, extending my stay, nothing was too much trouble at this excellent establishment.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Central location, friendly staff, parking option (13€/night), lovely roof terrasse
Cons: Thin walls: you hear every single word spoken outside. Second wall to floor can be closed but not shut so that the room is not dark. -- Be aware: Streets in old town are crazy small!!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully refurbished merchants house. Good and nicely decorated rooms. Great location short walk from most restaurants and main sites and easy walk to train station. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Breakfast on the terrace is great.
Cons: Little natural light ie room had no outward facing windows. Set up is similar to a Riad in that rooms face into the middle of the building with shuttered windows. I panicked about noise initially as you can hear people talking downstairs and in the main areas. This was fine though as most guests are respectful and keep noise to a minimum. Apartments at top of building are probably the best if you really value your privacy and noise issues if you’re there for a longer stay. Didn’t like not having tea and coffee making in the room and having to ask for this and paying extra for a cup of tea.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Alejandro was very friendly and helpful. His knowledge and willingness to teach about sherry enhanced our bodega visit the following day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very cozy and stylish private hotel. Located in the old town, 5 minutes from the fortress and the cathedral. We were kindly welcomed with a glass of sherry and it was appropriate after a long trip and encouraged us. Breakfast on the open terrace with a panoramic view of the city roofs was very tasty. We regretted that we didn't stay in Jerez for a longer time, because there is a lot of interesting things there, and the hotel enjoys a leisurely rest.
Cons: We liked everything, perhaps surprise surroundings at the beginning. The hotel in the historic city, the surrounding buildings are half abandoned. The first impression is strange. But in 10 minutes this place is already pleasant. Everything is very clean, quiet and safe.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was a buffet style on the roof terrace. Coffee, fruit and fruit juice. Toast, preserves, cheese , cereal, Views of the sun rising over the cathedral roof.
Cons: Needed more time to explore the surroundings.
Overview Reviews
The 4-star Barceló Jerez Montecastillo & Convention Center is part of the Barceló Montecastillo Golf & Sports Resort. Its location is ideal for a pleasant stay near the motor racing circuit, just 10 minutes from the airport and city of Jerez.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The care of the property and courses
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent
Cons: Only stayed on night so I didn’t have enough time to explore more things , time at hotel really good
6.7 Good
Pros: The breakfast as well as the dinner buffet were excellent.
Cons: I’ve booked the hotel because of the kids pool and playing area. During our stay both were closed due to low season, which made my choice absurd. There was no information that the facilities were only available during summer on the booking page.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed and large bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities.
Cons: Room too hot so had to sleep with window wide open. No milk to put in the tea. All manageable but the worst thing was the food. It was really poor. The hot food wasn’t hot but cold and the food cooked as ready to eat was never cooked properly.
7.5 Good
Pros: The rooms are very nice. For the breakfast, a 5min walk to the Barcelo Golf Hotel is required but it is totally worth since the Golf Resort and therefore the breakfast is even better. Breakfast was fantastic with a lot of variety.
Cons: Very unfriendly staff that also does not speak English very well. No iron in the room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was a feast. Beautiful setting.

Pros: Really helpful reception staff. We struggled to park in the town and Fatima went out of her way to make sure we were OK
Cons: Sadly the hotel smelt of drains

Pros: Didn't choose breakfast, too expensive for what was offered. Loved the atrium and the sundeck upstairs.
Cons: Would have LOVED a hotplate for a tea kettle in the room.

Pros: inexpensive lodging in a fabulous city
7.5 Good
Pros: Well located to visit the town. Cosy hotel and typical Spanish style
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location, close to the centre of Jerez & train station. Friendly staff.
7.0 Good
Pros: Its in the old part of town, so narrow streets with no onsite parking, all limited to street spots - if you can find one. Eventually found a spot a bit of a walk away, but the man on reception pointed out that all local parking was restricted and suggested we should check in case it was towed away or we might be fined. He suggested where we might find space and fortunately moved it in time - appreciated his advice. Room was comfortable if basic. Good bathroom. Check Google maps before going !
Cons: A little confusing, 2 entrances but only 1 manned, at least when we visited. Very limited local parking, all on street and very busy so had to park overnight quite some distance away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent considering what we paid for 2 nights we only used the room too sleep and shower (fantastic shower ) very central staff excellent , typically spanish thats what i liked , pleasantly surprised, would definitely stay again . Ive stayed in a few hotels in JEREZ and paid a lot more , and never received the welcoming hospitality we got here we will be back
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hostal owner/recepcionist is amazingly nice and helpful. And the wine is good of course.
Cons: The city of Jerez wasn't what we expected. The centre is very small, the bars are nice but a bit commercial. Outside the centre it gets kinda grim quickly.
3.2 Mediocre
Pros: Nice lobby and approach.
Cons: Awful bed. Backpacker standard. We;ve found alternative accomodation in Jerez, which in comparison is luxuary and only a couple of euros more.

Pros: Comfortable bed in a nice room. Plenty of hanging space for clothes. Laundry service which was both prompt and cheap. Central location with very helpful staff.
Cons: The toilet cistern constantly dribbled (noise) and the shower screen didn't hold the shower contents from escaping the confines of the bath. Noisy when people were going to or coming from their rooms (room doors slamming).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely big room with balcony. Parking in the basement is very convenient. Walking distance to the cathedral and Alcazar. Great shower. Very friendly staff.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit chaotic but the fresh orange juice was great once you got the hang of the juicer. TV only had Spanish language channels.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: overall very good experience
Cons: I would wish to have a welcome water in the room
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, good location.
Cons: No English TV
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Huge bed (although a bit noisy), cot with proper mattress provided for our toddler, very good breakfast in a historic in a pretty room, location great as in between train station and town centre (less than 10 mins each way). For price we paid (midweek, off season) we were happy.
Cons: Not many places to hang wet towels etc. Shower was annoying as screen only covered a portion of bath and resulted in lots of water spilt.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient location (city center, railway station) Friendly staff, clean room, great shower, comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast in former chapel.
Cons: TV programs in spanish only
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the ambience and the view from the balcony.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice bathroom
Cons: Bed was small and hotel smelled like smoke
6.7 Good
Pros: The property is in a brilliant location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is very basic, but you are getting what you pay for. The bathroom is fine and the shower is quite good once you work out the temperature. Don’t expect many toiletries in the room. We had a very flat pillow which we found very bothersome but the staff were happy to oblige when we asked for more pillows.
Cons: The walls are very thin. When your neighbour does anything in the room next door you can hear it (I.e. plugging an electrical item into the wall, sneezing etc). On our first night, there was a lot of noise coming from the building which completely ruined our sleep and was very frustrating. If we are staying more than two nights in total I would have complained and asked for a refund. The current reviews on booking.com do not reflect the extent to which the walls are too thin and is a really unfortunate negative about this hotel. The bed is very uncomfortable which caused a disrupted sleep anyway. The plug holes also seem a little dodgy.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Paper thin walls. Very noisy - You can hear everything they say next door!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, very quiet location.
Cons: No breakfast available

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay for a night if flying from the airport and want to explore Jerez. Taxi fare from the airport was 17 Euros.
Cons: No good place nearby for breakfast, we had coffees just along the street and bought pastries from the bakers which opened at 8am.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location easy check in
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Although it is a plan for staying overnight, the price is cheap anyway. I'm working in motorsport, but I'm just going to sleep at midnight so I'm not dissatisfied.
Cons: I don't know if there is heating or not. When asked, it seems that the remote control needs to be received at the front desk. The surrounding parking lot is easy to fill.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location. Spacious room. Balcony. Air conditioning.
Cons: At first, we were given a room without windows, which was claustrophobic, but after a short conversation, the staff agreed to move us to another room.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing. Two single beds in both rooms even after ordering twin-beds. Not possible to move beds closer. Some old (possibly uncleaned) blankets.
Cons: Room was not clean - stains on floor. bathroom was in desperate need for renovation - broken sink - muld in tiles that was tried to be 'patched' with adding more silicone on top of it. Noisy and smelled someone had been smoking there.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money, a very large and comfortable room
