Pros: - The reception went above and beyond to make us feel like VIP guests, they worked out it was my boyfriend's birthday from his passport and made our stay special by sending us flowers and a personalised cake. - The breakfast exceeded expectation in terms of variety and quality of food. - The fresh flowers in the room - Peaceful hotel with a beautiful view from our room - The bathtub was huge, such a treat
Cons: - A little unorganised, we had booked the room in advance and arrived past 3pm yet we still had to wait at reception for a time whilst they prepared the room. - We drove a motorbike there and got very lost trying to find it. They need to do a bit more signposting on the main roads leading up to the hotel, they need to take in to account it's in a very out of the way location. -It will probably increase the chance of walk-in guests if they simply put a few more signs out on the main roads leading up to the hotel.

Pros: The staff was the hallmark, no request too difficult or too mundane. And all cheerfully met. The hotel is an extreme value for the money. 4 star facility and location with 5 star service for a 3 star price. A small comment from my wife about a camera phone's memory being full was met with, "we can burn a CD for you." When the CD and phone were returned 5 minutes later, her comment of, "if only I had a laptop with a CD player so I could review all the photos I took," was met with, we can have housekeeping install a DVD player in your room for you. When we returned to a room, literally 9 minutes later, there was the DVD player installed and ready to go.
Cons: During the first night, we had a street view room, and being a Saturday night, there was quite of bit of traffic noise that could be heard in the room. At breakfast early the next morning, the waitress asked how did we sleep? We mentioned the traffic noise. WIthin 3 minutes the hotel manager came and changed our room to a garden view.

Pros: The pool was stunning and had lots of shade. Which was awesome for cooling off and relaxing. The staff were great and the rooms were lovely. I extended my stay but 5 days I liked it so much. Would love to go back someday.

Pros: The room was nice, enough space for 2 people. The staff was quick with accommodating a change from one king to two twins. Breakfast Buffet was nice with many offerings.
Cons: The massage and facial offerings were nice. The massage was just okay. My friend felt like the facial was also just okay. They both left something to be desired, however we cannot complain about the prices. both were economical compared to US prices.

Pros: Super close to town but very quiet and secluded at the same time. Staff are really friendly, cant do enough for you. Rooms pretty good and spacious. Just been updated. Had a room close to pool was awesome. Definitely would stay again and is great place to stay for long or short stay.
Cons: New showers were bit hard to use but thats not much to complain about to be honest.

Pros: The staff was always accommodating and so nice and pleasant to be around. The facility was clean and inviting.

Pros: The resort was great. It was an easy taxi ride into town or they had a courtesy shuttle. Breakfast was amazing, and catered for every taste. Two swimming pools meant it wasn't overcrowded. Everything was immaculately maintained. The air conditioning worked really well, which was a huge plus as we weren't used to that degree of humidity. Without a doubt the best thing about this hotel was it's staff. Without fail they were kind, courteous and helpful.

Pros: Luxurious accommodations even by western standards. Depending on what you want the location is good overall. The pros are a quiet and large complex with amazing ocean views and a large pool and poolside. If you want relaxation and quiet place to stay a little distance from the noise, Palm Garden is a great option. I was hesitant on the price, but the breakfast spread is phenomenal and since it's included, it was a big bonus for our stay. A 3 night stay is optimal, we were able to do everything the resort offered over the 4 days and could go at our own pace. Our sea-view room off the pool near the beach was perfect. Coffee in the morning on the balcony in rocking chairs overlooking the ocean, need I say more?
Cons: The resort is on the beach but there really isn't a beach to lay out on or go swimming in right off the property. The ocean water actually runs right up to the sea wall and the only way to get down to the beach is to climb down a wall of sand, there are no steps. If you walk north down the beach a short ways there are better options. Or take a bike to Ang Bang beach, one of the best in Vietnam. The bikes are $5 US for 4 hours, and they are serviceable at best. We had to bring one back after starting out and the other 2 we used the seats wouldn't fully stay up. The shuttle bus into town is almost always full and they bring just one van up, it would probably be better to get a larger mini-bus or bring 2 vans up instead of forcing guests to scramble into one vehicle.

Pros: When we have checked in at the hotel upon our arrival, the check in representative walked us in our room. While he was walking in front of us, he was picking up his nose which took at least 1 minute, and he than throw what he find inside his nose. Nose picking is a accepted behaviour and a veey dirty habit of Vietnamese people ..however it is not exapted at the majority by the world and it is discusting and gross. Especially in the service business where foregin guests are hosted it is just unacceptable unspeakable do and ruins everything....

Pros: The rooms and the ground were very well kept and quite nice. The room was very clean, the staff very helpful. The pool with the view of the river, I think you cannot do any better in Hoi An.
Cons: The restaurant closed a little early, but they accommodated us for a drink and small snack.
