Pros: The hotel arranged our private taxi from Hue which was very well organised with a very good driver. On arrival our room was upgraded to a suite which was extremely comfortable with a nice balcony view over the main swimming pool. On our check-out day we were offered a late check out because our flight to HCMC was delayed. Throughout our stay every member of staff was superb - very friendly, warm, courteous, helpful and efficient; we really felt we were part of their family. It is an extremely good hotel staffed by wonderful people. Thank you so much

Pros: The pictures of this place don’t do it justice, it’s beautiful. The breakfast was great as was the customer service. It’s also ideally located just outside the busy centre but still within easy walking distance.

Pros: Great quiet location only 10 minute bike ride to center and 15 minute bike ride to beach. Best part is that hotel provides free bikes to move around! (A bit old but working well).

Pros: The best hotel I have booked in Vietnam. Friendly staff, very helpful. Clean and comfortable accommodation, close to the center and the beach, with free shuttle to these locations. The staff even arranged for a private car for us to go see the surrounding attractions. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Pros: Room was big with big nice comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast spread was excellent. The noodle soup was very good. The fried vegetables and noodles would be better with less oil.

Pros: Staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Took interest in what we planned for the day and would ask how the tour was when we returned. Room comfortable. Location good.

Pros: Great place to stay- 3 mins walk to the old quarter on the Japanese bridge side of town. The rooms were clean, comfortable and very large. Staff were always attentive and super friendly. Breakfast had plenty of both Vietnamese and Western options to choose from and the restaurant is in a lovely setting poolside. Would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Hotel, facilities, staff, breakfast, restaurant - all great. Free bicycles are really appreciated. Very good location within a stone's throw from the ancient town. Great extra beach club which you can go to with a shuttle or cycle to with a swimming pool as well. The weather wasn't good when we were there and the beach is eroded in that area, but these are not within the hotel's control obviously.

Pros: Really... this hotel exceeded my expectations. It is within easy walking distance of Hoi An, but if you don't want to walk you can take a cab which will get you close there. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy, and to help. I wanted to book a photo sunset tour, and the concierge went out of her way to find a tour, and it was just wonderful. If you are into photography I do recommend you contact Pieter of Photo Voyager who did the sunset tour on an island close by where we got close to the culture, the people and also a traditional boat building yard. Another photographer we did a tour with was Fred of Photography Tours and Workshops who took us through Hoi An in the early hours of the morning - the BEST time to see and photograph the city. Both organisations cater for all types of photography including cell phones. But getting back to the Mercure... the room was clean - the bath was welcoming after a busy day, there are 2 swimming pools - one on ground level and one on the rooftop with a wonderful wine bar and the BEST view of the surrounding area because this hotel is the tallest. You can watch sunrise and sunset from the roof. The cocktails were amazing and the breakfast and lunch we had at the hotel was supurb. I will definitely be booking here again. Thank you to the management and staff for such a wonderful stay.

Pros: The hotel was every bit 5 star. Through our 5 night stay we were always looked after and greeted with friendly smiles every time we left the hotel and returned. The hotel and the room was exeptionally clean and made up whenever you pleased and were always given fresh linen. The robes in the room were the comfiest robes we had ever worn. The 2 x pools are both beautiful and clean. Rooftop pool and bar gives you a view of Hoi An which is amazing. The cocktails up there are also very nice. The bottom pool is quiet and very relaxing set in the courtyard. The hotel provides you with free bikes to be able to get to anywhere in Hoi An.

Pros: The Spa is absolutly perfect, swimmingpool gorgeous. Location is nice. Cocktails good, atmosphere was ok, but it was off season so might be better is it's a little more crowded. We've booked a Cooking class incl boattrip that was very nice and easy to arrange.

Pros: The pool was stunning and had lots of shade. Which was awesome for cooling off and relaxing. The staff were great and the rooms were lovely. I extended my stay but 5 days I liked it so much. Would love to go back someday.

Pros: What stood out from other places is the hospitality and service at Almanity - with a special mention to LIEN for taking care of us from the beginning till the end. That kind of genuine care is rare to find - thank you Lien. The spa treatment being included in our room was a nice surprise too in! Would recommend without a doubt and definitely come back!!!

Pros: nice staff. Very, very good breakfast! wonderful option with massages included in price. Clean rooms, maybe the concept with the stairs in the room wasn't for us convenient but it was hotel idea. Nice pool but water COLD! we couldn`t use it. Good concierge, help us to arrange trip.

Pros: Great location, near enough to walk to the Ancient Town, but far enough away so it was a bit quieter. The rooms were nice and the pool looked great. Food was ok, although we only had breakfast there. Staff were very friendly and helpful - the manager greeted us when we arrived which was a nice touch. You also get a daily 60 min massage included in your room rate!

Pros: Everything thing was great! The staff helped with everything the food was great and the room was clean and comfortable.

Pros: Breakfast was okay but nothing special. Easy access to markets by a short walk about 1.5 km. Plenty of places to eat. Never felt unsafe at any time & always managed to get transport when required. Over all was value for money if on a budget.

Pros: Quiet, we stayed there only one night but we found a very comfortable environment, kind and nice staff. Plenty & good Breakfast. Many services available as shuttles to Hoi An downtown. Don't hesitate, go there!

Pros: A very friendly, quiet and clean hotel. Free shuttle service on demand to and from centre of Hoi An (5 Min) or 15 minute walk. A lovely pool, breakfast included but basic, egg station, fruit, baguettes, tea, coffee etc. deluxe rooms very nice with separate on-suite, and the deluxe suites or villa rooms overlooking the pool are large, spacious and very, nice indeed. Free Wifi is available. I don't think it is a suitable for children, more for couples, singles, matured or backpackers. We will certainly stay here again next year!!

Pros: It was a little out of the town of Hoi An, which made it a very quiet location. There was no problem getting into town on the free shuttle bus. Also, within walking distance if you feel like a walk. The staff were very friendly, and the bus driver often came to pick us up, even though it was not the scheduled time.
