Pros: Incredible spa with stunning views. The glass pool was mind blowing! The room was modern, clean and very spacious. Also was very close to Liseberg park with was perfect for my trip. Breakfast was superb as was the service.

Pros: We were there for the birthday of my girlfriend and it was truly extraordinary: incredibly friendly and professional staff went out of their way to make it a perfect experience. The property even exceeds what one would expect from the pictures: especially the Spa with its "levitating" pool 20 floors above the street and the Sauna with an amazing view over the Liseberg amusement park stood out. Also the restaurant was a fantastic experience and it more than deserves its Michelin star.

Toilet and shower close by. Clean towels provided when asked for. Nice hot water. Hairdryer supplied although slightly old fashioned. Lovely buffet breakfast with gluten free bread and cereal. No rush to leave. Tea coffee and biscuits provided from 6-9 in the evening. Especially enjoyed variety of teas green tea in particular. Amazing helpful staff. Information cards with points of interest highlighted. Calm quiet atmosphere.

We had to stand in the hall for 20 minutes with our bags while we waited. 3. The entire floor smelled and was very dirty (tower 1 rm 1123), we were very disappointed. 4. Elevators where a problem, we had to walk down 11 flights of stairs twice and walk up once.

Pros: Hotel is located in the centre near pedestrian streets. It is very modern, aware of the environment (recycling facilities on each floor). Room is basic, bed and bathroom, no luxuries, no decoration. However, the staff was friendly and helpful. Gave me an electric heater when I was cold (as central heating could not be turned up). Breakfast was delicious with a variety of drinks and food, cold and cooked. There was a nice lounge to sit during the day, and you could get snacks in the evening.

Late check-out (until 6 PM) on Sundays is also a big bonus :-) The staff are all very nice and helpful!

Loved the artwork in the bar and our bedroom had a high wooden period featured ceiling, plus Christian Lacroix cushions on the bed. The Bishops Arms pub accessed directly from the hotel was a great feature. We ate there twice as the food was so good and reasonably priced. Breakfast provided a varied choice and the breakfast waiter from Edinburgh helped us so much with our tourist related questions and think he’s a great asset to the hotel staff.

Cons: Room was comfortable but felt a bit small. I couldn’t help to notice a lot of marks on the walls (from moving furniture) and a number of stains on the carpet. Wish we had a street view, but our rooftop window wasn’t bad. I was a bit surprised that the hotel bar drinks could not be charged to the room (only for Elite Members I was told).

Cons: The room was tiny and the foldout bed was incredibly small and very uncomfortable. For two people to stay in a single room it was incredibly cramped. They shouldn't advertise this as a normal two people option. While the breakfast was really good, the restaurant was overrun and they often ran out of plates and other things, and there were not enough tables as too many people went to breakfast at the same time and the staff couldn't keep up with them although trying really hard.

Hotel Vasa, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western is a family run comfy small hotel with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Located in a classic 19th century building in Vasastan on Viktoriagatan. We are conveniently located in the middle of Gothenburg and it´s close to everything. We have rooms for all occasions. A total of 51 rooms, from single, double or family rooms to mini suites. We also have rooms with jacuzzi. Our rooms are of good standard and are different in shape, color, décor and size. We offer a free waffle buffet every day between 16-21, where you can bake yourself some crispy waffles with jam and whipped cream. We are situated in the very heart of Gothenburg, a perfect location with everything within walking distance. Shopping, restaurants and cafés. Theatres, museums and universities. Parks, Canals and lush green areas. Easily accessible by tram. Tram stop Hagakyrkan (250 meters), or Vasa Viktoriagatan (50 meters).
The Sure Hotel by Best Western Allen is in the very center of Gothenburg, only 250 meters from the main street The Avenue. Very good parking opportunities and walking distance to everything. 51 rooms – from single rooms to large family rooms. The exhibition center is only 900 meters away, to Liseberg amusement park is one kilometer, Ullevi stadium is 850 meters, and the Gothenburg Central Station is 700 meters away. Coffee, tea and biscuits available 24 hours for free. Private parking next to the hotel for an extra fee, and lots of communal parking nearby.

Cons: Bed was not comfy, but its ok for short stay. I was only 2 nights, but too soft and small. Very small room.

Cons: Rooms did not live up to the pictures on booking.com. It's the same room as in the pictures, but they are taken in a way that signals a much bigger room. we had booked a 4-person room, and the sleeping arrangements took up all the floor space.

Cons: No elevator, no bellboy, no room service after 4PM, the cleaning was not satisfactory, no toilet paper, very small room, overpriced and very expensive even for a congress period: 286Euro/night!!!

Cons: Quite limited network access compared to what we expected based on web description. At least some of the staff had very little or no knowledge about basic things, such as what the charges would be if one used the phone in the room to make a local call or calling a toll-free number. Also, the one(s) we spoke to did not know anything at all about how to use the only computer in the lobby with network access (incidentally, a very old one).
