Everything was perfect. Staff were very nice, caring and helpful. The food was exceptional. Onsen was really good too.

Staff are all very friendly and thoughtful. Their warm smile has added much value to our stay. The gentleman receiving us speaks good English so there is no obstacle in communication. The onsen hotel is nicely decorated. Compared to other large hotels in the neighborhood, this relatively small one has successfully created a tranquil environment, making it a good place for rejuvenation. It will definitely be our choice if we pay visit to Gero again.
There is a bit of walk to the outdoor onsen so it will be quite cold in snowing season. But it is offset by the many good points of the hotel.

It is arguably the best accommodation we’ve had in our trip. Much more personalized than the other five stars hotel we’ve stayed in. Go with the room with private onsen, it is worth every penny!
