Pros: The view is amazing from your room! The location is great, overlooking Freiburg and a big part of the forest. My favorite part of the day was to have my morning coffee at the balcony, enjoying the view. The staff are great too, well worth the price.

Pros: Excellent Hotel and Facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful, courteous and attentive. The Breakfast was very varied and perfectly prepared, I would like my coffee hot rather than warm though. The Hotel was exceptionally clean, orderly and maintained. I highly reccomend it December 2019

Pros: The rooms where exceptionally clean. We had a fantastic view. On arrival first impressions with the Christmas decorations were fantastic. I loved the pool too. It was great to have an indoor pool with enough beds, another great view and even tables and chairs where you were able to order food. We would go back just for this hotel.

Pros: It’s a very good quality hotel, located on the border of Black Forest. A bit far from the city center, but the view from the terrace is beautiful. It has swimming pool and sauna. Very good breakfast, had selection of meets, fish, even champagne for breakfast :)

Pros: The breakfast was an excellent buffet choice. An unexpected bonus of the hotel was the well designed bedrooms with their attractive fittings. The lobby, reception, bar, eating area was not only well organised but very attractively furnished

Pros: This hotel gave me a "real hotel" experience. Everything was looking so professional. So I couldn't feel myself like I am home, but instead I feel myself like I was serviced very well. Also the location and cleaning was good.

Pros: The location is perfect, just off the high street in Freiburg. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and the rooms extremely comfortable (including the showers which are a dream!) Second time we have stayed and would definitely go back.

Pros: Centrally located in the Old Town it's a lovely, elegant hotel with an old-world feel (in a most delightful way). Room opposite the Cathedral - Munsterplatz. Gorgeous view of cathedral, square and market. In the summer (as there's no aircon) with windows open cathedral bells could be an issue (earplugs provided though) at night but in winter it was fine, with great soundproofing from Double Glazing. Parking in the hotel garage was invaluable. Staff are superb (speaking variously French and English), so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and served till 10.30am. Fruit, yoghurt, cheese, meats, eggs, cereal, juice, sekt even. We would stay here again, no question. Didn't eat in the restaurant but it was packed every night and looked excellent.

Pros: The location was excellent as outside our hotel all around the cathedral was a huge farmers market 7 days a week. Also, had an excellent restaurant which was very popular with locals as well as travelers in our hotel.

Pros: the best thing, other than the location, was the bathroom, which had enough hooks and towel bar, and room to put your things. this is usually a problem even in expensive hotels but here someone really put some though into the design.

Pros: This property was amazing! The location was perfect, the people all spoke English and were all so accommodating! This is in 2 separate buildings with a little alleyway between. Book the one with the view of the cathedral, it was so neat! Beware though, the bells do chime! Cannot say enough great things!

Pros: The rooms are spacious and very clean (Superior - Doppelzimmer, Haus Schusterstrasse). The atmosphere is old-fashioned at its best. The service has been extremly friendly and very attentive, at reception, at breakfast (sumptuous- and good choice of fresh ingredients, eggs cooked to your liking) and in the cosy restaurant. The situation is just perfect, opposite of the Munster, a short 15 minutes stroll from the Amin train station.

Pros: Location was great! Close to historic area and Christmas markets. Breakfast was wonderful. Hot and cold items served in nice breakfast area complete with tablecloths. Room was good size for two. Helped with ordering taxi to train station.

Pros: Great location, friendly staff, clean comfortable room and fantastic breakfast. They even had sparkling wine at breakfast which I thought was a nice touch.

Pros: The tram stop was just outside the hotel, but it was only a 15 min walk to the centre. We had a wonderful room - lots of space with a comfy bed, dressing area and seating area. The shower was large and the water flow was really strong.

Pros: The hotel has a convenient location. The rooms are spacious, simple and clean. Service is great and the staff is very helpful. I would definitely stay again when traveling to Freiburg for work.

Pros: Friendly and pleasant staff. Aesthetic room, Smart and comfortable design, It is more beautiful in reality than in pictures. A short walk to the center. Don't rely on hotel parking that can be full. There is parking, free until 9:00 AM, around the hotel. Not always available. We found excellent parking near the hotel.

Pros: A nice hotel located really close to the old town. Good matresses, clean rooms, not too large but adequate. Good breakfast, free for small kids, which is a big relief for a family vacation. A nice parking suitable even for big cars - the height is 1.95 or 2.00 as far as I remember.

Pros: Great position for exploring the town, for restaurants and shops. Extremely clean, all necessary facilities and bilingual staff extremely pleasant and helpful.
