Pros: The inn keepers Tom and Susan were excellent with providing ideas of places to see as this was our first time in Eureka Springs. The breakfasts were generous and a great variety. The Kingston Suite we stayed in was exceptional with our own private balcony that we were able to enjoy a bottle of wine while discussing our travels for the day. The Kingston Suite has a large two person Jacuzzi that was easy to use and a great treat. We have stayed in a lot of B & B s and this is now our favorite!

Pros: The property and the bear decor made us feel like we were at a mountain retreat! And the owners greeted us with towels outside as we made it back to the hotel in a terrible rain storm on our bike. The room was so clean and even had a clean smell . Pros: I gifted this stay to my father and his wife for his birthday and Fathers Day. They immediately sent photos of their beautiful room, the lovely gardens, the cat and both of them relaxing in the chairs outside with the cat. They couldn't stop raving and I had to finally tell them to go have fun. :) They loved everything about it and also dinner at Local Flavor where Britt and Mary helped me get a gift card to have waiting for them. Breakfast was very nice as well and I cannot wait to stay there myself based on their pictures and experience. Top Notch.

Pros: I was a little nervous booking here as the room doors go to the outside and we typically have not had good experience with these types of hotels.... but this hotel was great! Rooms were clean, outside pool was refreshing and the hot tib is in an enclosed area with windows. Very nice set up. The breakfast was really good as well

Cons: Breakfast was what was to be expected for a continental breakfast. However, there is no seating area. Breakfast items have to be taken back to the room or outside the office area. The sheets on the bed were very worn and thin.

Cons: The room was a bit dated, though I know they were shooting for a Bavarian theme. They hit the mark, but I would say it was more 'old world' Bavaria (we've traveled there). There were a few cobwebs in corners, the couch wasn't all that comfy, and there was no mini-fridge (which we could have used).

We didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant in the hotel, but based on passing the kitchen and diners, the food looked and smelled great. They are in process of renovating some of the rooms, but it was not noticeable other than a few signs indicating renovation was underway. All staff we interacted with were very friendly and consistently asked if we needed anything to make our stay more comfortable. The room was dated and unique (which I liked) but is likely part of the reason for renovations. The room itself was very spacious and offered plenty of room to relax.

Cons: There is no hotel staff on the property, we were told that a key would be hidden outside but they forgot to tell us that it would be upstairs on the balcony so we search for probably 30 minutes before we figure that out. The only time I saw a human in charge was when I paid for the room, the rest of the time we were on our own. There is no elevator in this hotel which we were not aware of, my traveling companion had serious difficulty going up to the third-floor by stairway. I understand the city is historical, but these details are very important to let people know upfront

Cons: The bed was comfy. I was disappointed with the bathroom. There was a torn screen, unpainted spackle on the walls and the shower didn’t work. I was really bothered when I asked why my room was so much more then other rooms. Was told because I booked with booking.com the room was much more expensive AND our breakfast would not be free (really bad thing to tell a guest, btw!). If I had booked directly with the hotel, it would have been 70.00 cheaper and breakfast would have been free. That actually really made me angry!

Cons: Furniture in our 1 BR suite was in dire need of repair or replacement: dresser could barely be opened; furniture had chips and stains; jacuzzi tub had stains as did bathroom sink. Although we left a tip for housekeeping, the staff did not bother to clean cups/glasses or replenish coffee service condiments. The bed was made, but shoddily, and bed linens weren't refreshed. Couch cushions were very old and provided no support. At checkout, we weren't asked how our stay was nor were we thanked for our patronage.

Cons: The customer service at the hotel restaurant was horrible. We were seated right away but took them 10 minutes to greet us at the table and take our drink order, 10 minutes to bring the drinks and then another 10 minutes to take our food order. Once they took our order the food took about 45 minutes and when I asked the server the status of our food he replied with a sarcastic response to ask the kitchen about our food! Once they brought our food they only brought two of our plates except mine and never refilled our drinks the whole time we were there. After complaining to the manager he asked what we could do but at that point we were just tired and frustrated so we just paid and left. Now I understand the restaurant may have been busy but communication from the server would have been nice but we didn't receive any of that! Anyone who has worked in restaurants should know that when you mess up that bad on service at least offer to comp the food or give some kind of discount rather than asking the guest what they should do! Also they automatically charged a tip even though the service was terrible! Word of advice if service is bad don't leave extra tip!

My family attended a wedding in which several members of our party got food poisoning - the staff was so accommodating with whatever they could do to help us out with everything, from staying in our rooms a little longer to benefit those who were ill - to helping us out with needs in the kitchen. They went out of their way to do anything they could to help us --- even cleaning up some messes which we tried to do our best to clean up - but, it was difficult being so ill. Can not say enough about how wonderful the staff was!!!!!!!!!

The room was amazing and at an amazing price. The bed was huge and comfy, the jacuzzi was big, clean, and the jets were strong. The room was spacious with all the appliances one would need and want. We had a cute little balcony with a beautiful forest view. There was lots of wildlife to watch, deer and things nothing dangerous lol. We will definitely reserve again. Also we reserved it online but no payment came off and we paid cash when we got there so that was great too. We totally recommend this motel to one and all.

Pros: I booked these rooms at the last minute and knew that a 2 star motel would not be very nice. But I was hopeful. The room was very plain, the king size bed was saggy, one of the microwaves did not work and one room smelled like smoke even though it was non smoking. A tin can used as an ash disposal was outside the room and sitting right below the air conditioner. It seems that a small amount of maintenance and cleaning would make a big difference.

Cons: Horribly dirty! The wallpaper was ripped and there were stains on the walls and floor. It hadn't been vacuumed and the toilet hadn't been cleaned it a while! The bedspread was filthy. The beds were soooo hard! And I love a firm bed. The man who checked me in was unfriendly. He didn't say when checkout was or where to find coffee or anything about the free breakfast. Which was horrible! There was a loaf of bread, coffee, some stale cereal, bananas, Sunny-D and milk. With signs all over the place saying you weren't allowed to take any food out of the 'breakfast' room.....other than coffee. This filthy hotel wasn't even pet friendly! I think pet mess would be cleaner! The parking lot was basically non-existent. People had to park in the grass. There were lights outside of our room that blared into the window. The shower rod kept falling down and the drain in the shower was clogged.

Cons: Sheets and bedspread were of really poor quality and were itchy. There was no blanket or duvet. We were on 2nd floor and there was no elevator. We completely vacated our room every day because my husband was afraid that ourvitems would be stolen.

Cons: We had stayed here years before and they had a waffle iron for something hot for breakfast; they no longer have this option. We would have preferred more than 3 pillows per queen bed, but made do with what we were given. Not many options in the vending machine.
