There were many little touches, like a packet of tissues and fresh bottle of water and biscuits everyday with the tea and coffee in the room. The food for breakfast was lovely and the scrambled egg to die for. Even though I managed to break a couple of toes during my stay, it did not detract from the enjoyment of my stay.
A lift would have been handy, but being an old house it would not be easy to instal. The staff were very friendly and did carry my case for me.
Close to everything. Board games for the Grandchildren and ourselves to play when needed.Breakfast wonderful and we were looked after well.
Shower a bit hard to turn.
Fantastic location, right opposite Devonshire Park Theatre and a short walk to sea front, 5-7 min walk to the town centre. Staff really friendly and welcoming.
My room (room 8) was absolutely tiny. There is just room at the foot of the bed to be able to open a medium sized suitcase. A tiny en-suite. I'm sure this must be the smallest room in the hotel. If it really is only required to sleep in and nothing else, it is absolutely fine. No desk or chair. In room 8 the WiFi was unreliable and only intermittent.
Good location and very clean
Had attic room so kept banging our heads, WiFi didn’t work! They ran out of parking passes which cost us a lot more. Very uncomfortable bed.
