8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly.
Cons: A larger parking lot.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location. Easy to find, short drive back to the Interstate and Omaha Zoo.
Cons: Thought breakfast was included in the rate, but not. We had a kitchenette, but no pots or pans were provided. Seams to cater more to extended stays which I hadn't known beforehand.
6.7 Good
Cons: It was very loud while trying to sleep with others opening and closing their doors.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value for the price. Friendly staff. Nice and clean.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly and facilities were very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed having a full kitchen.
Cons: Once the Air conditioner was turned off, the room warmed up and the humidity increased rather quickly.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It is very clean and well maintained. There is a theater and bar & grill within walking distance. If you like gambling there is a casino near by too!
Cons: The squeaking bed was annoying. Every time we went to the desk there was no one there, one time we couldn’t find the person and was then told by the people coming in she was outside smoking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent. Staff was friendly and answered our questions regarding My Place hotels in other states.
Cons: Nothing. We were greeted when we walked in the door and were able to check in a little early. The staff we very nice and made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone staying in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
7.5 Good
Pros: Easy to get to, staff very friendly.
Cons: Has a kitchen but, other then a coffee pot, has no utensils. Bathroom counter very small - not a lot of room for toiletries. Needs another luggage stand or bigger table.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a nice quiet room, thick towels after a shower, and full sized refrigerator which we utilized. There are two sinks in the room which was very convenient. The soap and shampoo offered by the hotel was gentle on the skin. Jayne, our housekeeper, provided a clean room. We were at this My Place Hotel in May and decided to stay again in August.
Cons: Mattresses are a little softer then we like, but we slept fine. Obviously it's a personal preference and I wouldn't downgrade the hotel because of it. Would like to be able to open windows a little more.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance to places and restaurants, easy to find, parking was great. Great value for the price.
Cons: I was not impress with how they placed the girls soccer team families spread out on the 2nd 3rd floors. Footsteps running in their rooms, hallways, jumping up and down, playing in the elevator was too much and so much noise I could not enjoy a good night’s rest.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I was impressed they had fresh strawberries and Chobani yogurt for breakfast.
Cons: They were always out of decaf tea bags.

We would stay here again!

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room (king bed!) and location; good breakfast; HIE experience was as good as expected.
Cons: I was disappointed the hot tub was out of commission. (The swimming pool was up and running.) No other complaints.
7.1 Good
Pros: Check in person pleasant
Cons: Bug in bathroom
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect for my needs. Your brand is usually great for my needs. Additionally the cost is usually fair for the needs of this person.
Cons: One of the reasons I choose the brand is for the hot tub, this was non functioning for the stay and I had no notification of a non function hot tub when the reservation was made. I found the hot tub to be empty with nothing more than a hand written sign at the front desk. Had I known at the time of the reservation I would have stayed at another address.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean room! Breakfast was EXCELLENT! Staff was helpful...will definitely go back!
7.1 Good
Pros: The included breakfast was very, very good. Also, the bathroom was nice and the shower had awesome water pressure.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was better than I have had in similar hotel chains - a very pleasant surprise. Rooms were clean and facility well maintained.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent variety, everything was very good
Cons: I booked my reservation on line which was not communicated with the hotel. Therefore the young lady did not have my reservation. She handled everything well, even though I could tell she was getting hassled by the company on the other line. This was no fault of hers but seems if this is a frequent problem it should be addressed.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff is very protective of the property outside and in. Keep things tidy and are quick to help with anything.
Cons: Hot tub was broken. It was a bummer.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable, the casino lost money to me. I was also able to make a several sporting event bets at the Ameribar restaurant. Had a good time. we had dinner at one of the restaurants located in the hotel and gambled a little.

Pros: Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Room was nice.
Cons: A room that costs $190 per night should be Sparkling Clean!!! It was not! The bathroom floor and shower had like body oil smudges on the marble from the previous person. There were a few things like bathroom door that didn't close all the way. Buffet with the line was a mile long so we had to choose another restaurant which we had to wait 45 minutes to also get into. Your property should give those who have paid to stay at your hotel, First Priority for restaurants entrance, by reservation or a better system, instead of people off the street crowding to get in. Not sure the a/c was working in that room.

4.2 Okay
Pros: Location it was adfacent to I80.

Pros: The hotel was clean and easy access on and off the Interstate. Small area for walking my dogs.
Cons: Unfortunately, the hotel has only one set of stairs for access, one door and not able to enter and exit when other animals were present.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The room and public areas were clean and recently refreshed. Booked at the last minute for a low price so expectations were not very high.
Cons: The bed was pretty uncomfortable. It was either a low quality mattress or an old one. At a minimum, even a relatively inexpensive hotel should have decent bedding. Another minor issue was a bathroom tap that would not turn off without an extra effort. Also, the breakfast selections were well below average. We ended up at the Village Inn across the street.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Big rooms. Weekend free hot dogs.
Cons: No eggs for breakfast. Parking lot needs repairs

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was easy to find and access. Staff was friendly and helpful. The minor things I noted in "what I didn't like" would not prevent me from staying here again.

7.5 Good
Pros: I didn't eat anything except for yogurt. I'm not a big breafast eater.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great. Laundry facilities were handy.
Cons: The Spa was not operable. Also in the exercise room, there were no glasses for water, one of the treadmills was broken and the TV in there did not work
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The location was really the only thing that redeemed it. They had good truck parking for the moving truck.
Cons: The pool was absolutely disgusting. The entire hotel except the lobby was extremely hot, even our room with the A/C cranked to max. The beds were not super comfortable and the whole place felt dark. Not a place we would stay again.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fine. The standard hotel type breakfast with a little extra. I liked the eggs and hashbrowns too. They let me park my motorcycle under the front canopy which was nice.
Cons: Very hot hallways, but it seems that the pool area has all of the air conditioners vented into it. So it's like a sauna. Not particularly bad overall, just hot in the pool area for sure. So probably amazing in the winter :)
5.0 Okay
Pros: The beds were very comfortable Not expensive.
Cons: Checking in and out was a challenge. Paying cash was met with a one hundred dollar security deposit which we happily provided to avoid credit card expenses. However, the clerk made no record of this which caused a half hour delay at checkout until the day clerk reluctantly returned our deposit after viewing video record. Doors to laundry room were left open as were the employee break room which was not pleasant to view. Back door does not lock. ..security concern? Lacks charging ports and outlets for cpap machine(luckily we bring our own extension cord).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to Interstate, restaurants and gas stations.
5.0 Okay
Cons: We specifically booked a smoking room and then was told it was given away!!!!
7.1 Good
Pros: Front desk was really nice and he tried to fix a really bad first impression we got about the hotel - no shuttle even tho they claim on booking that they do have 24hours shuttle. the next day shift was as nice as the previous one but also fine. Room was clean, we came with a puppy and the dog was welcomed and we got a room right next to exit so we could walk him easily. Breakfast was also fine.
Cons: I asked for a shuttle from airport while booking and no one ever answered that they received the message. I wrote them two more times and also no answer. When we called from airport to ask for a shuttle they said they do not have a shuttle. So we have to come on our own.

When you stay at WoodSpring Suites Council Bluffs in Council Bluffs, you'll be in the business district, within a 5-minute drive of Horseshoe Council Bluffs and CHI Health Center Omaha. Featured amenities include express check-out, laundry facilities, and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The staff, when they were there, were surprisingly very nice and attentive. The price is also cheap (but not cheap enough for what you're getting). Pet friendly without an extra charge.
Cons: DO NOT BOOK WITH CHILDREN, OR IF OTHER OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE. There was not enough staff available, and there's no one manning the desk from 10pm-7am, which is when most of the crime takes place and when people would like to check in/out. I'd like to say that the staff really are nice, but there's just not enough of them so the front desk service takes a very long time (upwards of 30 mins) to get to you. They fired the cleaning staff, so you're responsible for taking your towels down and taking out your trash/cleaning your room/sheets. There's an exuberant amount of drugs going on, and guests there (especially during the times when there are no front desk staff) would brazenly smoke marijuana in the parking lot, in the hallways, and in the elevator (which is very old, very slow, and has no cameras). The place, even in non smoking rooms, has an aroma of marijuana. I'm an 18 year old, 5'11" female rugby player who can bench 240 and even I would not leave my hotel room at night. One night I was coming back to my hotel room and a man followed me off the elevator (where he was making lewd comments directed towards me) and tried to enter my hotel room. Luckily I was able to slam the door, lock it twice, and alert my mother, but others might not be as lucky. If you go out at night, especially between the hours of 11pm-midnight (my mother and I called it the Witching Hour), there's at least two different groups of people in the back of the building doing/dealing drugs. People would even do it outside as early as 9am in the morning. As we were getting ready to check out, at 9am, we saw a couple outside of our window smoking marijuana, but the man rolled their joint ON OUR CAR. There's also scantily clad women waiting for men to pick them up, so prostitution isn't out of the question at this hotel. Men will also follow you and catcall you just from the time you leave the door and enter your car. Not a safe place for a single female, or anyone else. The bathrooms in the rooms are actually very nice, and pretty clean (our shower curtain had mud on it, but otherwise a very clean bathroom). The shower was very nice, I never had a cold shower. The toilets flushed well, and the tap water was drinkable. You have to take your towels downstairs to exchange them for new ones, which is a hassle. Bad laundry facilities and no pool/workout area. The kitchen was pretty nice if you don't want to cook. The refrigerator was large and the microwave worked well, but if you used the two burners your room, and the hallway, would smell like gas/burning. We didn't use the burners, so it wasn't a problem for us. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to sleep at night. The beds here actually caused a sharp pain in between my shoulder blades. Adding on the fact that there was CONSTANT pounding from the people above us and we could hear the man in the room next to us yelling at just about anything, no sleep here. Do not book.
7.1 Good
Pros: Price had no breakfast,
Cons: No ice, no hand towels, kind of cramped
8.3 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Pros: full kitchen, WiFi, room was clean, it was quiet and comfortable
Cons: Extended stay hotel- remember to bring your own shampoo, hair dryer, cooking equipment and food and coffee maker. A bar of soap and linens are all that’s provided.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: No breakfast
Cons: Nothing to set in to watch TV
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Prce
Cons: I put a cash deposit late the night before. Your office needs to be open earler than 9 am if u want to fill rooms 4 one night travlers. No one told me as i gave her my 100 that i couldnt leave until 9. Pls work on that process.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Room maintenance, bathroom ceiling above shower was peeling and collapsing, full of mold . Informed f front desk , no other room available.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The only thing we enjoyed about this place was the location. It was near the casinos and very close to a wonderful restaurant called Tish's
Cons: The shower would not drain, the air conditioner did not cool the room, there were no cooking utensils to accommodate the stove and microwave. There were no complimentary shampoos, conditioners, bodywash etc... I requested a late check out but at 11:10 had staff knocking at my door saying I had to leave . Explained we would be out shortly and the woman on duty decides to let herself into my room with out permission because "she had a key" then demanded we leave or she was calling the cops. The rudest staff I have EVER in my life encountered. I will never recommend this hotel or stay there EVER again. I wanted my money back and they refused, and threaten to call cops again. This place needs major major improvements ASAP!!!

Pros: Not one thing it smelled and really wasn’t very clean at all
Cons: Carpet was dirty and torn and the smell of cheap air freshener was overwhelming !
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff is always very friendly and always helpful. I have stayed here several different times in the past year and the staff and service are always consistently happy, friendly, and helpful.
Cons: I would have liked to see more than one type of pillow on the king sized bed. 4 standard size pillows just didn't seem to be enough. But I am one of those people that likes to sleep with a lot of pillows.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: We are pre-placed in three different rooms because the rooms were trashed then we were charged a $250 fee on our credit card when we left saying that we smoked in the room when we never did and that we remove screens from the windows that were already missing when we got there I wouldn’t stay in this place ever
Cons: This place is dirty and disgusting and I would never stay there and they try to scam money on your credit card making up false charges

5.8 Okay
Pros: Good value and not a bad location. Easy to get around
